They were fairly easy to install. All I used were some pliers and I was able to take my broken spring off of my old La-Z-Boy chain and install these new ones. I do not hear any squeaks and it feels like as tight as the originals. 5Fit my rocking chair from a superstore perfectly! Everything ...Fit my rocking chair from a superstore perfectly! Everything bolted right up and chair was fixed in about 10 minutes. I just hope they will hold up for awhile as I tend to rock all the time. 5Do not waste your time!Weaker than the work out springs they replaced. Waste of money and time. 1Galvanized not oil tempered steel like in photo.They work but not as strong as oil tempered like in photo. This is galvanized steel that you receive. A lot more brittle than oil tempered in photo as advertised. You can notice the difference by looking at how the advertised photo has dark shiny coils. That is because it is oil tempered and very strong. Attached is a photo of the galvanized springs you receive. They will have a brighter dry look to them. 3Now when you sit in the rocker it does not lean way back like it didThese fit our Lane swivel rocker recliner perfectly but were not the easiest thing to replace. Now when you sit in the rocker it does not lean way back like it did. I guess the old springs were too stretched. 4Four StarsReplaced factory equipment perfectly.
