    Cooling agent leaks out first time wearing.The cooling agent leaked out after wearing it for 5 hours. After that leaks out you just have a normal wet bandana. 1Excellent Cooling CapThe Cooling Dew Rag Head Covering, is good for the hot weather, the head covering comes with a sweat band built in so that when you sweat the band will draw it back and out of your eyes. You can dunk this in ice cold water and it will keep your whole head cool, for about 3 to 5 hours. It will keep the sun off your head, like any other hat or cap will. Excellent for working in the yard and in full sun conditions. 5great for my husband factory jobMy husband is a factory worker, and in the summer standing on top of the machines to fix them gets very hot. He has always wore dewrags to help keep the sweat off his face i thought this stylish dewrags would also help him stay cool to. The camo design pattern is awesome looking. It has built in gel beds in the band that expands when soaked in cool water. He lets it sit in cool water about five minutes. Then rings out the excess water. The expandable band when the water beads are fully wet doesn't make the dewrags bulky feeling on his head. It actually stays cool until next break when he resoaks the dewrags. He admits it not as cooling as the coolie towels, but he can't work with anything dangling from him. So this is a great alternative to help with the heat.5My husband loves these in PhoenixEverybody knows what AZ does in the summer - balmy 118 degree days, during which my husband works outside. These Chill-It products are giving him so much relief; sure wish I'd found them long ago.5Not what it is advertised to be.This is a triangluar bandana, it has poly beads only on forehead area, it is not a "do rag". It is a simple triangle bandana. 1NiceGreat product, but wash really good when you get it because the dye from the fabric will get all over. Otherwise, it is a great product, especially if you plan to be working out in the sun 3"Cooling " beads came outThis was a gift for someone working outdoors & suffering from the heat.However, after only wearing it a couple of times, about 3/4 of the gel leaked out a side seam while I was soaking it to wear on another very hot day. This made it absolutely useless for the intended purpose. I was able to open the side seam, re-stuff the area with gel beads, sew it up & it's good to go. ( providing the other seam doesn't leak at a later day).On the bright side, the recipient was pleased that it did have a cooling effect,altho'short (it needs to be re-chilled often if it's hot out), the fabric is very light (thin) & the fit was perfect.In all honesty, I could just as easily make one out of a handkerchief,sew a casing in it & fill it with gel beads for a lot less money.Not worth it in my opinion, although the concept is great.I'll be making my own from now on. 2Very mediocre coolingThere's a narrow band of double-sewn fabric that contains some small particles that expand when wet to form a gel. That cools you and it stays a gel for a very long time. (Days even.) However, it's so narrow that it doesn't keep the rest of the 'rag' damp - it dries out very quickly and does nothing for you. Not worth the money, IMHO.The old version had a large triangle of cooling material and was fantastic. I've been using it for 2 years and still love it. Sad to see a 5-star product go to a 2-star one. 2Great FitBought this for my husband and he s very happy with it. Comfortable and the right size. Easy to put on. 5Can't go wrong on this oneAt first, I was not sure if this was going to work for me, but this worked perfect for my situation, I am sure it will work for yours as well.Get it wet, put it on, the polymer sewn into the item absorbs the water, and keep you cool even on the hottest of days. 5A Bounty paper towel would cool better and probably last about as long too!Paper thin, poorly sewn, with 'polymer beads' only in a tiny section of the front and only enough to cool a couple inches of half your forehead at a time...so choose which couple inches you want cooled wisely. Seriously the cheapest, crappiest version I have ever seen! 1Very PleasedVery surprised at how well this worked. I put this in ice water for 5 plus minutes and it stayed cold for @ an hour. This was in weather of 105 degree heat index.4Better instructions might have made this a better performing productI bought one of these about three weeks ago and was only able to use it a couple of times before all the gel oozed out. Now it's just a normal bandana. It's not returnable apparently, I'm not sure why. I did some research after the gel oozed out, and I guess you have to let these completely dry every day or so, or else the gel gets funky. It doesn't say that anywhere in the packaging, so how was I to know? Better instructions might have made this a better performing product, but I'll never know because I'm not ordering another one. 1
