    suffice to say I'm so satisfied with the purchaseI am a visual person, so, I need to draw almost everything a read for school and learning purposes (molecular biology, signaling pathways, etc.), so, I painted my basement wall with a dry-erase paint, and after checking reviews, I decided to get this EXPO pack. Well, suffice to say I'm so satisfied with the purchase. No lines left, nothing on the wall. However, I followed the recommendation of one person's review, suggesting to get the EXPO white board care spray. That works GREAT!!!! My board it's SUPER clean. BTW, I used those microfiber towels that are used to clean the dust. That works very well. Great great choice. Really. 5Markers were dried out upon arrival...I am a teacher who relies on dry erase markers. Expo markers are usually the best... when I saw the price on this deal, I was excited.SO disappointing... not sure how long these markers were in storage, but half of them were dried out and barely visible on my white board... not like Pink or Sky blue either. I'm talking RED, GREEN, ORANGE... colors that SHOULD be bright and vibrant... oh well... back to brick and mortar for this kind of purchase I guess... 1Waste of Money!I am a teacher in a inner city school. Students do not bring in their own school supplies so I end up buying them. These markers dry out quickly. This was a total waste of money to the point that I want to call EXPO to see if there is any way I can get my money back. Some of the caps were not tight on the markers so they were dry or close to dry right out of the box.Don't waste your money. 1We love these markers.Expo is the brand my 8th header asks for when we order school supplies. They last the longest & write the best. These colors were an awesome variety and as a visual learner myself I know the value of having a wide selection as information seems to be more easily recalled in vivid color. Fair price and the packaging was nice because it allowed us to easily see exactly what we were ordering online. 5I really really really wanted to like these!!!!Because these are a well known product and the price was right..(I got them for a great deal at 5.88) I was thrilled to be able to order them. I am a teacher and admittedly use these daily. At least half of the colors are too light to be seen on a white board and the other half dried up really quickly. A couple of months into buying this product and I can only use the black and that horrible brown. 1VERY LOW QUALITY MARKERSThis is the second package I ordered and the markers ink is very very light. I was satisfied with My initial purchase, so I "reordered" the exact Sam England markers. The ink ran out quickly. Since this is a buy it again purchase, I expected the markers to be the same quality as previous purchase. Very disappointed and not going to waste my time returning. Attached picture shows the low quality dried up markers when compared to same color from a previous purchase. 1because I'm pretty tired of the old "orange" sandy beaches and bananasExpo's are an invaluable tool at my job. Not only do they allow me to write the daily announcements for the students, they also help me illustrate how to solve an algebra problem in such a convoluted way that students are left more confused.Also, we all use them to play pictionary. If you do too, you've probably also realized that Expo needs to come out with more colors. Yellow should be in every pack, because I'm pretty tired of the old "orange" sandy beaches and bananas.Needless to say, they get a lot of use in our class and they last a lot longer than some others we've tried.In terms of opacity, they are on par with Board Dudes but last longer. Neither though are remotely close to being as saturated in color as Colormate. However, Colormate does not wipe off easily like the other two. Also, Colormate dries out quicker. All three have pretty standard, decent chisel tips. 5BEST whiteboard markers EVERI seriously love these markers. I teach junior high math, and go through multiple sets throughout the year. As students share their work on the board, they love to pick a color to show what they are doing. There are also certain things I put on the board, and having it color coded helps them immensely. Being able to differentiate between ideas, thoughts, people, etc. is so much easier with colors. My own children (ages 8, 6, and 2) love that they can draw pictures on my boards when they come help me lesson plan.Although I do go through multiple sets per year, these markers last well. Some colors are easier to see writing with--dark blue, dark green, purple dark brown, and black can be seen well from the back of the room. Pink and light green are great for color-coding but not for writing. The other colors are great for some writing and explaining, but not lots of printing things that must be copied. The students' favorites tend to be orange, and magenta, since those colors can't be found in any other classrooms (sometimes, kids even steal/borrow these colors because they want to use them on their locker white boards... they really, really, really like them!)If I leave the color on my board for a long time (2 or more weeks), or my classroom gets really cold (under 60), I have a hard time erasing, but write over it with a fresh coat of marker, and it comes off. These erase best with expo erasers, and occasionally I clean my board (like every 2 months) with expo cleaner. Other than that, there's not much need to clean it, as these markers erase cleanly, and don't leave a huge mess.I would recommend this pack for anyone with a white board who likes color. 5Dry as licking deodorantThe arrived entirely dried out. Waste of my time. I'm annoyed by that because as a teacher, I do not use all of the colors at once, so why would I even think to test them? I tried to write on my white board at work and the first one was dry, okay I thought, I mixed it up with my old one.... nope, each one after the other was dry. :( 1WARNING: Hard to return/refund.Red pen failed to write within minutes of first use. One or more pens failing seems to be a theme in these reviews. What makes this stand out is how difficult it is to get a replacement for a product with a clear history of problems. Default Amazon answer is not eligible for return, and wastes your time appealing. Would not recommend you buy this given the history of problems AND no support from Amazon in rectifying the issue easily. 1
