Great piece to add to our Sunny Safari room!! We LOVE this book shelf!!It is SOOOO cute!! My 3yr old picked the pattern(we spent 3hrs looking at children's furniture before she settled on this-and vetoed my vote of the butterfly collection-also teamson), so it is truly child friendly!We love that it has 3 shelves AND a drawer. We place all of our art supplies and workbooks in the drawer to keep them away from the 1 and 2 yr old, we also have other small items(like sorting sets)in there-basically anything that is only for the mature 3yr old. All 3 shelves are accessible by both the 2 & 3yr old, so it is perfect for them to pick their own books.Its very sturdy, even unfilled. It isnt as easy to put together as some childrens furniture, but it is far more sturdy and withstands being climbed without wall anchors. It does not have a back, but it DOES have a 2" lip on the back to keep books from falling off the back(It wouldve gotten 5-stars with a back). The unique cut out sides are visually appealing and look great in our playroom! Everyone who visits loves our kids furniture! 4Love it! It is solid wood and beautiful! It is perfect for my daughters space-themed nursery. 5the product looks good. Not great Overall, the product looks good. Not great, but good. There are a few painting blemishes that could be seen as part of the charm or annoying depending on your perspective. In a little child's room, it will probably be okay.The reason for the four star is in the assembly. The stickers that labeled the different parts did not match what they should have been. They were switched around. While I was able to channel my inner IKEA and figure it out, I must bring it down as one less star as a result. The screws at the very top on the flower proved to a bit challenging and required it to be hand screwed for fear of stripping the head of the screw. 4No assembly instructions It seems to be pretty sturdy. Not as sturdy as I expected from the reviews, but not bad. Weird thing is, there are no assembly instructions with this furniture. It's not really hard to figure out, but still, they could have put something with it. They refer to the website, but I wasn't able to find anything. I put it together based on the picture on Amazon. One down side is that the bigger books don't really fit in between shelves. Otherwise, pretty good product. 4Cute and Sturdy I ordered this bookshelf for my little girls playroom. It is PERFECT for her. It is just the right height so she can get her books/toys and put them all away on her own. The colors are bright and the bookshelf itself is very sturdy. It is easy to assemble. I put it together myself and I'm not the most DIY type person. It does need to be up against a wall because there isn't a back piece where the books sit but I don't know anyone who has a bookshelf in the middle of their room so I don't see that being an issue for most people. 5Nice item...but a shelf was broken The product looks lovely and I'm sure it would make a wonderful bookshelf. We bought it as a gift for a baby shower and were going to assemble it and display the book cards on it. The only problem is that as we were putting it together, we noticed one of the boards was split on the side and would likely snap if weight was put on it. We attempted to unscrew the board from the rest of the shelf so we could request a replacement and the screw is stripped and will not budge. We're stuck with a broken top shelf that cannot be moved from the base. A week ago, I called to get replacements for both parts (fortunately we were able to separate the rest without incident) and was told they would ship them with no problem. I'm still without the replacement parts and of course, the shower is tomorrow. I tried calling three days ago for a tracking number, but no one returned my call. I'm definitely not a satisfied customer and will be more upset if I'm stuck with an $80 worth of shelf parts that cannot be made into a shelf. 2Great bookshelf for a kid's room! Great little bookshelf. All of the holes lined up fine and there was no extra hardware! The rocket and all of the details are actually carved in and painted decently well. There are a few paint blemishes but overall really well done! 5Very beautiful kids library shelf. It holds many books! This little library shelf is so cute. Very steady, strong. It s pretty heavy so you might need help.I assembled this myself and it took me about an hour, the instructions are easy to follow and easy assembly.Like I mentioned, the library shelf is very cute. The one I ordered for my little baby girl has flowers, a frog, butterfly s, cute pictures. It s perfect in her room and goes with the theme. It holds many books and has a drawer in the bottom. I attached a picture so you can see how nice the shelf is and how beautiful it looks. 5I want SO bad to be able to give this 5 stars I want SO bad to be able to give this 5 stars!!! It is the cutest bookcase I have ever seen and its SUPER sturdy. The books fit perfect and it is easy for my 2 year old to access herself. The downfall....there is a chip in the wood. Not big enough to warrant sending the whole thing back and easily hidden once the books are on the shelf but big enough to not give the product 5 stars. There are also anchor hooks on the back but its so sturdy that I don't see a need to screw it in unless my kid starts scaling it like the Empire State Building. 4Just beautiful, and beautifully made Just beautiful,and beautifully made! Very sturdy, a real quality piece of furniture and a joy to put together. You have to concentrate and focus to assemble it, but it's not a piece of junk like most furniture that needs to be assembled - the pieces are good and it turns out very solid and all comes together very smoothly. We love this bookcase, can't praise it highly enough. We are looking forward to getting one or two of the matching pieces, The bookcase is tops, it's a dream.. Baby's first library! 5
