Description

  • IDEAL SHAPE - Perfect for cakes, brownies, pastries, bar-type cookies, casseroles and lasagnas.
  • ANODIZED ALUMINUM - It's the ideal baking surface. Our 'Safe-Seal' anodizing process creates a safer, stronger baking pan. A durable, non-reactive finish that bakes a wider variety of recipes, including citrus-based and savory recipes. Freezer safe.
  • HEATS & COOLS QUICKER - By reflecting heat, rather than absorbing heat, ProSeries cake pans reach baking temperatures faster. Even heating allows for the best possible rise. Once out of the oven, they cool quicker preventing over-baking.
  • NO EXTRA METALS OR CHEMICAL COATINGS - Anodizing is not a coating. It is an environmentally-friendly process that contains no chemical additives, dyes, PTFE's or PFOA's. Nothing that can transfer, peel, flake or rust into your baking.
  • BUILT BAKERY TOUGH - These are the same pans bakeries, commercial kitchens and baking enthusiasts around the world depend on every day for professional results. Lifetime warranty. Hand wash recommended.

Customer Reviews

We love it! Easy to clean, nice deep, wide, long.Great family size pan.It does not rust, like other brand.Heavy duty.We bought two,one for cake, one for meat.(She love it :) ) 5Great pan! I purchased the 12x8x3 pan specifically to make a thicker lasagna in a non-reactive metal dish. I have plenty of glass and ceramic lasagna baking dishes, but all are 2 inches deep or less. This FD pan worked great for its intended use! As advertised, the anodized aluminum did not react with the acidity of the tomato sauce, and no discolorations whatsoever. It was also easy to clean afterwards, although next time I will fill it with soapy water and let it sit for a while to make soft-scrubbing the inside corners even easier. And regarding removal of the inside product label, which has been a complain in the past: the labels in this pan peeled off extremely easy, without any residue left behind. I doubt that I will use it for baking cakes, but it will be my go-to pan for other casserole recipes where extra depth is desired. 5Newly retired teaching myself to bake I bought this pan after reading a baking cookbook by Joanne Chang. She recommended a pan this size as a must have. I didn't want to invest in a lot of baking pans due to space. I chose fat daddio's after seeing it in YT videos. I am building my baking equipment. I never had time to devote to learning this art. Since retirement, I've had the time & resources to learn. This is my third fat daddio's purchase. So far I've used my pans several times & am very pleased. I have made dozens of sponge cakes, brownies & the pans have turned out evenly baked goods. I hand wash them and they clean well. 5SO SO SO satisfied!!! My family was putting together a surprise party for my brother's 30th, and left me in charge of the cake. Although I'm an avid baker, I had never baked a cake bigger than standard 9" rounds or 9"x13", so I was nervous that a half sheet would either dome in the middle, not cook all the way through, have overcooked sides, crack when I removed it from the pan, etc. I was worried about any and all baking issues you could think of. This pan, however, did not cause ANY of those problems. I doubled a 9"x13" recipe which fit perfectly into 3/4 of this pan, baked it at 325 instead of 350, and out came a PERFECT, evenly baked, evenly flat, beautifully colored cake that slipped right out of the (buttered/floured) pan when removing. This pan caused no problems at all and was worth every penny!! It's very sturdy, so I am not worried about it warping through time, and it doesn't seem like it's anything that will rust as long as it's taken care of. Definitely worth spending a little extra for this pan because it will last through many beautiful cakes or whatever else you decide to use it for. 5Great pan at a great price! I've been looking for this size pan for a few months and finally found it on Amazon. The first thing I made was a banana cake with a crumble topping. It turned out perfect! The cake was nicely browned by the time it was baked through and it was very easy to remove it from the pan. However, there is a coating on the inside of the pan. Just to be safe I used nylon utensils to cut the cake as I was concerned that metal utensils might scratch the pan. There's a nice rim around the sides of the pan which makes it easy to remove from the oven and it also makes it easy to wrap up airtight if you want to store your baked goods in the pan. Overall, I was extremely satisfied with pan and will definitely buy Fat Daddio's brand again. It is a great pan at a great price! 5Truly a Bakers Bakeware Fat Daddio baking pans are my all time favorite bakeware and I bake a lot from scratch. They hold the heat for an even bake. The folks at Fat Daddio are incredibly helpful with baking advice..just give them a call. I own quite a few of the round pans but this is the first rectangular pan I've purchased. I withheld the 5th star because the edge of these pans are rather sharp. It would be better if they had a rolled or rounded edge for handling. It's not a huge deal but was unexpected compared to the round pans. 4Daddio's pan I really like my Fat Daddio's pan. The one I bought is just the right size for a two-person casserole. The only problem I had was, I read in the reviews that it could go in the dishwasher. Not so! I put mine in the dishwasher and it came out ugly. It is still useable and I do use it often. To be fair, the manufacturer did not recommend putting the pan in the dishwasher. Even though mine went through the dishwasher, it still is very easy to clean. In addition, it was a size I had been looking for and not able to find. In the south, they're called biscuit pans, but they don't exist in the north. 5They're not kidding about the non-stick part Normally, I wouldn't have much to say about baking pans one way or another, unless to complain about one being flimsy or baking unevenly. As that's not the case with Fat Daddio's pans, I originally didn't intend to post a review. But last week, my roommate convinced me to make Igor bars for his birthday. Igor bars, if you're not familiar with them, are a layered dessert with chocolate chip cookie dough on the bottom, caramel, and rice krispie treats. They're gooey and sticky and after hours spent slaving in the kitchen, I about died when I realized that I'd forgotten to grease the pan into which I'd just finished layering my caramel-y, marshmallow-y creation. Time came to cut the thing and serve it, and I was sure we'd have a horrible mess on our hands. Not so. The Igor bars, caramel, marshmallow, stickiness and all came out without even leaving much residue behind. The next time I need to buy baking pans, I'll be coming back to this company.Holy crap. Just have to add to this review, because I made caramel corn in these pans, plus a third pan that I had sitting around in my kitchen. The caramel coating was made of sugar and corn syrup and was sticky as all get-out, and it was a PAIN to get out of the odd-duck pan, but when I poured the excess coating out of the Fat Daddio pans, it was like I was pouring out some kind of thick oil. It didn't stick to the pans at all. I'm pretty sure some laws of physics were being broken. 5Worth every penny! Finally, nice square corners, perfectly vertical sides. My desserts looked so professional. I was proud to present my treats at a recent fund raiser. This 9x13 pan is very sturdy and well made. When I turned the pan over, I was pleased to see that there are no crevices or hollow rolled metal for water or debris to accumulate, making it so easy to clean. In the spirit of conservation, I've been holding on to those cheap cake pans which I received as gifts years ago. Now that I've used this great pan, I can't go back to using those old, thin, warped pans. I look forward to purchasing more Fat Daddio's cake pans. 5I Thought I loved this pan....but, not so much I thought this was just going to be another garden variety sheet pan.....I love it. It has straight sides and is very heavy duty.UPDATE: Two months later I put the pan in the oven (350 degrees) and it warped just like a cheap garden variety sheet pan. SO disappointed. Thought it was going to be a great pan......this is about the second, maybe third use of this pan..... 2
