    Came without a working current reading function Not impressed yet. Overall it's nice. Feels good with quick voltage reading, simple user interface, and good attention to detail in the fit and finish. Obviously the ability to attach one probe to the case is a great thought. Issue is, mine came with a broken current sense system. When turned on and not in contact with a live circuit, the system reads 0.1 amps. When testing a known live circuit, the reading stays at 0.1 but will occasionally show a higher rating for a brief moment. The sensor zone also seems very iffy. I'll often get a faint reading from the front of the jaws, not in the indicated sensor zone. I've contacted customer service, so we'll see what happens. 1No such thing as customer service I bought this meter about a year ago. It is now no longer reading like it is supposed to. Allegedly there is a 2 year warranty on it, but have not been able to contact their customer service. I have called and left numerous voicemails over the past month. Absurd that I can not get a response after a month. 1Good bang for the buck. Excellent meter. Nothing fancy, but you can tuck one probe into the meter to take your readings and only need one more hand to get your readings. I've been in maintenance for decades, and this is a rugged meter. 5Be advised this meter don't come with a case!!!!!!! This is a very good meter and I trust my life with it almost every day. Amazon tried to resolve the issue with not sending me one with a case and sent me a new one which it to came without a case. I guess that they just have the product description messed up where it says that it has a case. Thanks for the effort amazon good try! I ended up buying a hard case to protect my meter. I recommend this meter to anyone who is in the electrical field if you don't need to test up to 1000-volts then the T5-600 is what you need. Good luck and be safe!! 5Most useful meter I've owned, but very minimalist features I do controls design and commissioning in industrial plants, and this meter is by far the most useful I've owned. Although it doesn't have all the features I need in one package, it does cover 98% of what I do while commissioning, and for the other 2% (measuring low (analog device) current, temperature, etc...) I just carry another meter that never really leaves my job box anymore. The only thing that I'm disappointed with is the sounder for the continuity tester; it's very quiet and in the conditions I find myself in I often have to read the display to see if I have continuity.I'd prefer to give this meter 4.5 stars because a bad sounder shouldn't cost a whole star, but it is what it is. 4Great small meter with only what you need for electrical work This meter does everything I need it to. Doesn t come with a case, but I keep it in a pocket in my bag so a case isn t needed and would just take up more room.For everybody reporting that the amp forks do not work: Make sure your only measuring a single conductor. If you put both the hot (black) and neutral (white) in the forks, they will cancel each other out and read zero. 5Useful, quality tools This is a tool set I use regularly. Like other Fluke products, it works well and is reliable. The digital voltage/amp meter is a versatile, useful tool that combines all the basic tools you would use in electrical work. It is durable, convenient, and easy to carry. The little AC tester is a quick way to verify if something is hot -- I've given out dozens of these things to customers who end up carrying them in their pockets because they are so useful. 4Perfect meter for daily use This meter is perfect for my use as I do HVAC and Electrical work and this will give me what I need for troubleshooting and performance of equipment. I have always trusted Fluke for testing equipment. 5Good basic meter. Really handy meter. Only drawback is that it does not read in tenths, only whole numbers. 5Good Product This is my second one. The way to find the one you lost is to order another one. I found my old one the day this one arrived. I've had good luck with these meters. I have a farm, some rentals, lots of vehicles and boats, etc. I use this on about everything I work on, and it has been reliable in tough wet conditions. I lost my original one the first time outside, and it was out in the rain for about a month. I finally retraced my steps and found it by a trench I'd dug laying in the dirt in the winter. It had been rained on a lot, and its been working fine for the past 5 years after that incident. Expect this new one to be just as good quality. 5
