Is this stainless steel? When I removed the packaging, I found that a small area of it was glued onto the pan. I unsuccessfully tried to remove this with oil, then using the edge of a dull knife to pry up the remaining glue. This caused the coating of the pan to scratch off. After reading other reviews, it appears this pan may not be stainless steel after all, which was my sole reason for purchasing it. I do not recommend this product. 1Undecided I am giving a four star review but feel it is closer to 3.5 stars. The pan arrived on time and looked great, very shiny. However, like other reviewers have noted, the pan material is very thin. The pan is extremely light. I was hoping for a thicker, more solid pan. There was a label affixed to the pan with glue that was very hard to get off. Finally after a lot of scrubbing, I got off all of the glue. I made muffins, and they turned out beautifully. They were baked to perfection in the exact amount of time the recipe called for. Golden slightly crisp crust and soft and moist inside. The pan did not clean as easily as I hoped as oil cooked on. I had to use bar keepers Friend to remove it and a lot of scrubbing to get it clean and shiny. The edges aren't professionally done, and water and food can get into them which I don't like and believe will be a problem the longer I use the pans. I feel the pan works well, but I doubt it will last for years to come though for the price I can't expect more. I would have paid more for a heavier duty pan, but stainless steel pans are hard to come by. I have ordered a number of other stainless steel baking pans recently from Amazon from various sellers, and this is by far the most inferior in quality of them all. I believe the photo is misleading. It is a duller finish and lighter weight than what it appears, which can make one wonder whether it's really stainless steel. Again, I base this on comparing my other pans purchased recently that really are what this photo appears to be--only differing in sizes. Seems to be the type of pan one might get with or for a toaster oven. My husband noted that he suspected in might bow under higher heat when he first saw it. It hasn't yet, but time will tell. Keep shopping buyers--you can do better than this one. 3Smaller than standard size mini muffin... I was really looking forward to this stainless steel mini muffin pans. This pan is slightly smaller than a standard size mini muffin pan. Hence the mini muffin liners do not fit, too big to go into the pan. I've tried liners from a couple of brands. All the liners are big. Meanwhile, in order to use this pan, you have to really grease the pan, not oil, heavy on the grease. Otherwise, everything stick to it... Quiche, muffins... I'm trying to cook healthier for my 4 years old. So this pan is a bummer. The full size muffins pan from the same company is fantastic! It's really a full size muffin pan!! 1Ditch your aluminum and teflon pans for safer stainless steel Very happy with my purchase. I'm confused about the reviewers who said this pan is thin. Compared to my stainless steel cookie sheets and baking pan, it's actually pretty heavy duty. Thicker than I expected to say the least. I didn't have much trouble getting any glue off. There were three small glue drops which a brillo pad easily wiped away. 5I absolutely LOVE these little pans I had one, wasn't enough so I ordered two more. Still need another one, ordered today!! I absolutely LOVE these little pans. I'm getting ready to go into business for myself and these are a little awkward to remove, so my husband fashioned a "remover" out of 1/4 inch plywood and 7/8" dowels cut to 2" and, using the pan as a template, drew circles on the plywood where the dowels need to be screwed in. VIOLA!! Set the cooled pan gently over the dowel rods, slide it down slowly and the cheesecakes come up perfectly!! 5It's stainless, but not the quality I expected. All of my pots, pans, bakeware, etc are all stainless except for my cast iron. I am addimant about the horrific health consequences of non-stick anything.That all said, I needed to replace a stainless muffin pan (after over 20 yrs and several kids).The quality difference from my old, sturdy, thick one and this one is hugely in favor of my OLD one. Sigh...This one is a lot thinner and not near the quality that I expected. It has the feel of a lightweight aluminum muffin pan, even though it's stainless. I have used this several times for my homemade gluten free rolls, but I have to really watch them because they burn on the bottom faster than they did in my other pan. I gave this one only 3 stars because it is stainless.I hate giving negative reviews! However, I write reviews on most everything I buy, from my perspective, to hopefully help you decide what is the best investment for your money. 3
