    UPDATED: new set received and no scary spots (see picture)This black mark won't wash out. Looks like tar?UPDATE: Seller replaced and I upgraded from earlier ONE STAR to 5 star. The brush is nice and has a rubberized/plastic tip so it doesn't scratch.A little wide so doesn't fit in all cup/flask covers with the straw hole. Solid straw but I'm careful when "stirring" my drink. 5Plastic out. Glass in!We never really had plastic straws in the house, but since I have a smoothie every morning on my way to work, I needed something. I decided to try the glass straws and I really do love them. I use them for everything now. Easy to clean and store, besides you know that they are truly clean, which I love. I only had to get used to my teeth on them. You never know how much you bite down on straws until you go to bite down on a glass one, day after day. No damage to the straw or your teeth, but gives you those chills like nails on a chalkboard. 5Great!I can rant all day about how amazing these straws are. They stood up against my dishwasher (although I prefer hand washing). These came neatly packaged in a little cardboard box. Each straw wrapped in paper. Also came with a brush to clean. The straws are thick. Good quality. Rounded at the ends. Comfortable to drink from. And fit in my cold cup. Just barely. Do I recommend these? Yes! 5Perfectly Chic & FunctionalI absolutely LOVE drinking my coffee, hot cocoa, and sometimes even tea, with a straw -- t helps prevent staining (so I've heard) and it just makes me feel super chic. While I'd already had a healthy assortment of straws, for the longest time, I'd coveted glass straws. I finally got them & these did not disappoint. 5Glass strawsThey're the way to go. No BPA! No melting in hot liquid. Get these. Great deal. Just don't break them. Be careful.Update: one of these kinda chipped in my mouth a tad. Didn t cut me but I had to throw that one away. Be very gentle with these. 4Perfect For My Smoothies!I am cautiously giving these five stars because I have not actually dropped one on the floor yet. I did drop one on the countertop and it was fine. A few things I noticed very quickly: My smoothie seems much colder by the time it hits my tongue. I did not think that plastic could potentially lower the temperature, but something about drinking out of the glass straws really makes it seem much colder, which is a plus. Also, it took a little getting used to not teething the straw. I m used to holding the plastic straw with my teeth, yet I don t advise that with these glass straws. By the third use, I was broken of that habit. Finally, they don t fit in all of the cups that have the lids with holes. I figured that going in, so no surprise there. Overall, I would order these again and I will likely give them as Christmas gifts this year, so I hope none of my green friends/family are reading this. 5Shatter just by setting glass downTwo straws have broken in about a month by me just setting my glass down. Neither time did I realize the straw had shattered at the bottom until I took another drink and swallowed glass shards! 1A great alternative to plastic straws that end up in our ...Exactly as advertised. A great alternative to plastic straws that end up in our landfills, and the 4 pack means I can leave one in my car, one at work, and a couple at home, so there's NO excuse to not have them on hand. Nice touch on having two be bent, and two be straight straws. The glass is heavy enough that they don't bob around in your cup or mug, and the straw is wide enough for something thicker, like a smoothie, without being too large. The brush works fine, but I'd recommend rinsing it as soon as possible when you're done using it to make it easier on yourself when it comes to cleaning. 5Totally tubularLove the size, thicker than I thought which works out better for smoothies anyways one less thing ill have to buy! They seem very durable too! Sat in my mailbox in the bitter wisconsin freeze spell weve been having and none were broke. I did let them come to room temp before cleaning or using though. The cleaning brush is very nice bonus, and better bristles than the cheapies I got with my steel straws. Didnt like the taste of those so im very happy i tried glass finally!One star down for the individual wrapping. Plastic wrapped? Ugh. Why not use paper in the box if you must?
