    great transfer switch for running a sump pump As the instructions make clear, this transfer switch is positioned for use in RVsor for powering boats on shore or off. I wouldn't know the details of that because I have neither.What I need is a transfer switch that powers a sump pump from either AC house power or frommy inverter running off of a bank of batteries. The message here is that this is that transferswitch. You just have to decode the instructions written for RVs and boats into this sump pump application.And of course, if it works for my sump pump, then it works for RVs and boats.Also, by the way, the inverter I am using is also from Go Power! and I am very happywith it as well. It did a great job for me when Hurricane Sandy knocked out my powerfor 11.5 days. 5Good transfer switch, not for amateurs I set this up to create a battery backup for a sump pump. Be aware that it doesn t include the input and output lines for the line/utility 120 VAC, nor the output pigtail for the appliance to be supplied power. Works great plus it s got a fused output pigtail for a battery charger. 5Okay Cheap. You get what you pay for. 2Five Stars NIce Transfer Switch 5Perfect transfer switch for the do it yourselfer. Great product and it works perfect. 5Life made simple Works better than I expected, and no smell emitting as I read on other review. I especially like the the 20 second delay feature.
