There is no value, convenience or precision in this set. Flimsy at best.Cheap product, Nothing couture about these tongs. The silicone is roughly cut and edges are not sanded off, leaving silicone shavings to fall into your food.. The clicking noise when you open and close them is indicative of a poorly fit spring which will jump out very soon. The size difference is in the length of the handle and the spatulas are all the same. Other brands provide spatula size in accordance with the handle size. This allows for more convenient precision use. There is no value, convenience or precision in this set. Just cheap useless tongs which do not even close strong enough to grip something on the frying pan.2Great for a party !! or BBQ I'm so happy with this buy! Usually when we cook in my house we have to use multiple tongs so that's why I was attracted to buying this three pack. When the items arrived, the closing feature at the butt of the tongs worked properly. There are a good amount of silicone on the tongs' claws (spoons/ whatever you call the pads on the head) and not no flimsy amount that just coats the pads on the head. I used them to cook pork chops & roasted potatoes the night I got them and they were perfect. Gripped the thick chops and the much thinner roasted fingerling potatoes very easily and without slipping on either. The varied sizes are nice, each will definitely find its use in my kitchen. The blue is a nice blend of navy and royal. Not too dark, not too bright. Fit in very easily with the other various hues of blue in my kitchen. The opening/locking mechanism is smooth and not loose. These tongs are replacing a name brand set of tongs that constantly closes itself while I'm trying to use them, beyond frustrating when you've got hot pans in your hand. They didn't even bother use a proper fastener at one end to hold everything together, probably some heated stamp to squeeze some material out to overlap to keep the spoke from falling out. So the spokes fell out of all the tongs eventually, first one within one year and last one recently, but I kinda kept things in place by squeezing the flimsy end of the spoke shut using a Phillips driver. Yesterday, one of the spokes finally gave way and fell out completely, and I couldn't put the tongs back together.
