    Just okay I have a magnet pick up tool already (another kinda) but bought this one for a vacation home. It's just alright. Magnet seems strong enough. The grip on the handle is a little oversized and the end is not firm and the pipe does not run all the way through it. Another thing I didn't like is that it does not lock when it's extended out, and the fit is sloppy between the two sections. Soooooo, i drilled a hole and added a small machine screw and nut to both lock it open and get rid of the slop. 3bought this too late! had the roof redone.I found 4oz cup worth of nails with this tool!that was after I found 4oz cup worth using everyone in the family trying to find all the nails!sadly, I got a nail in my tire before I used this. this morning tire pressure light came on.if I had ordered this and used it the day of the roof job I would have spared myself this hassle.WISH they made a version with at long head so I could sweep the area quicker.taking a long time to get the entire lawn.this is our second roof, why these guys can't buy these and do it? the push wheeled ones don't work well enough!! 5Good for my Needs I needed something to run over the area in front of my shop and pick up welding electrodes, screws, nails, etc. This works great for that! It isn't actually one large magnet, but three nickel sized magnets that draw like maybe they're neodymium. Running the magnet over grass and some of the sandy area, you can hear it snap as it sucks up nails and other pieces of steel. Just get you a "scraper" (I used an old piece of bar steel) to scrape the debris off your magnet into a bucket and you'll be able to clean up an area quickly. I thoroughly cleaned a 12x20 area in about 30 minutes that I know was heavily littered with flat causing debris from the previous owner. 5Absolutely Awesome! My hubby and I are building a house and we purchased this magnetic tool to pick up the thousands upon thousands of nails littered around the house and building site. I kind of scoffed at my hubby when he wanted to purchase this because it seems a bit ridiculous, but as it turns out it is AWESOME. It works fabulously. The magnet is strong and picks up a lot of nails. It even picked up a nail stuck in a large medium size chunk of concrete, so I totally believe the 50lb grip. It makes picking up the nails a heck of a lot easier, and it makes the job a bit more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tool!! It was also ridiculously affordable, which even further makes it a worthy purchase! 5Very handy tool!! This is a very handy tool! We put up 700 of 5 non climb horse fence and this helped me pick up all of the metal pieces left everywhere from tying and splicing the fence. Sometimes it takes a little time to coax the small pieces of metal off of the magnet but it made cleaning up much easier than having to pick up everything by hand. Due to uneven terrain we couldn t use the larger magnets on rollers so we were pleased we found this tool. 5 Really happy with this item my father loved it for Father's day 5Very strong Tool would not lock in the extended position; it is very annoying. 5Useful Works great when you drop the socket under the car and bending isn t gonna work. 5Good magnet, bad handle The magnet works great as it's intended. The telescoping pole is long enough that you don't have to bend to use. However, the handle isn't attached correctly. I ordered two of these. When holding the grip properly, the back should point to 12 o'clock. One of them points to 11 o'clock and the others points to 4 o'clock. This drastically changed the angle of the magnet, making the product uncomfortable to use. 3Great clean up tool to find those dropped items. Great magnet and it saved my day the first day I had it!! Lost my keys in the lawn and a few sweeps of the magnet and they were found. 5
