    This gravy boat is beautiful and big enough This gravy boat is beautiful and big enough. I had 8 people for Thanksgiving and did not have to refill the boat. Because I was afraid there might be some drips after pouring gravy out of it, I also bought a serving ladle to go with it. However, I did not need it. No drips at all! I would buy this again. It would also make an excellent shower present. 5*Not Safe* to use with food. Bottom of ladel, that sits in Food, is not glazed! Glaze protects it from the lead and other ingredients in the ceramic slip.You can be absorbing toxins from the unglazed section.That's so bad.Otherwise, great design. Looks nice. 1nice quality and finish I have the sugar and creamer from this manufacturer and recently added the gravy server. I like these pieces because they remind me a bit of "Blue Flow" ceramic ware (where the blue design looks like it has run a bit?) These are not 'blurry' but look more antique vs. the sharp 'decal-like' finish of many blue willow designs. The design is clear, but looks richer. 5Horrible packaging = Broken! Love the gravy boat but the packing is horrible. Gravy boat saucer came broken like other previous reviews. I m not returning it as I really just wanted the gravy boat itself but it would have been nice to have a matching saucer. Gravy boat is classic white and big enough that you are not having to refill it several times before it reaches around the table. Would have been 5 stars if the horrible packaging didn t result in a broken product. 4Great size This gravy boat is a great size for holding lots of gravy. The additional saucer helps with spills. Being purchased as a gift, the presentation is terrible. It came wrapped in bubble wrap in the standard Amazon.com box. No product packaging. Hopefully the sticker stuck to the bubble wrap lets her know it is a new item purchased for her. 4Attractive large sauce boat that doesn't take up a lot of table surface This is a large boat. I bought it mainly for Thanksgiving cranberry sauce. We have 14 people for dinner and it holds enough for everyone. The attached saucer/tray really helps keep the drips off the table cloth. The spoon is a little clunky but works just fine. . 5Great size for holding large amounts of the gravy we all love. A gift for my daughter--the one that matched her dishes was broken. She was very happy with this replacement. The size was perfect and easy to pass around the table. Looks attractive also. 5Why did I wait so long! I've looked for a replacement for my chipped gravy boat off and on for years. I particularly wanted the style with the plate attached to the bowl because it is so much easier for passing around the table and catching all drips. This one is perfect. It is good quality simple white porcelain that will go with any decor and holds plenty of gravy - more than 2 cups, and comes with a matching ladle. I wish I'd ordered this sooner instead of putting up with my chipped version all these years. It's perfect for my needs. 5Quality & Appearance Worked great for our Thanksgiving dinner gravy. Rated an overall rating of 4 because I'm a little concerned that the bottom of the ladle is not totally glazed. Cleaned up well in the dishwasher. 4
