    Very Roomy! This cabinet is exactly what I was looking for! Its a great size and has a very roomy interior for storage. The drawers are nice size too- not too small. We use our cabinet for a coffee station. We have our Bunn coffee maker, and also our Keurig and Kcup storage drawers on the top of cabinet, and the interior is used for all our extra coffee stock, and coffee grinder. The drawers we use for coffee filters and other coffee items. We love our coffee!! haha This cabinet could be used for numerous things. Its very sturdy and roomy. I have to say though, assembly is a bit of a challenge. We have put together many things, and my husband and I have a pretty good system. We always separate everything and get it all lined up, we separate the hardware items into "texas" size muffin tins, and we read the instuctions before we start anything, so understanding the intructions was not a problem at all. The hardest part for us was the first couple of steps-- we actually had to laugh, because you practically feel like you have to be Houdini to hold the first few things in place until you get a few steps into the process. Be prepared-- there are A LOT of pieces, and NOTHING is pre-assembled. When we first opened the box it was 'WOW, are you kidding me?" If you have assembled furniture before, and you are familiar with cam-lock bolts, and take your time, it isn't that bad to do. It's time consuming because there are alot of pieces. I think it took at least 2-3 hours, but as far as being difficult, it really wasn't bad at all. All in all, we really like it and it was worth the time and effort it took to assemble. 5I can't believe they charge this much for junk Nothing but problems with this item. When received, the panels on either side of the bottom portion had to be replaced; called the hotline and they sent out two more and they were both junk; called again and had to argue with the person on the phone to send out replacements finally get all the parts and they look okay.Now after drilling, crying, cursing, praying, we get it all put together and wow Bottom left door shuts great (only item without a problem)Bottom right door is flush at the top, but not the bottomLeft drawer wiggles and when you shut it the bottom doors open (guess the magnets are too week)Right drawer is difficult to get closed but doesn't wiggleTop doors will not shut; the hinges are made out of such substandard material, you can't adjust themThe top of the unit has holes drilled into it for no reason (I'm guessing for another product line that has some type of trim on top)So, it appears that we'll have to go purchase some good hinges and a few magnets; and all that for something costing over four-hundred dollars. 1Missing piece replaced very quickly Love this buffet. Perfect size for small area that I needed. Unfortunately, my box had two of the same side pieces (two Bs instead of an A and a B) and I could not assemble. Fortunately, I got online and their website is set up well. I was able to request the missing side piece I needed. They replied the next day, mailed me the missing piece and it arrived five days later. I appreciate the quick response and glad I didn't need to pack everything back inside to ship the entire until back! Buffet seems very sturdy and is a welcome addition to my kitchen. 5Good material and looks, bad QA I'm really torn on this product.The look of the final product and quality of the wood is great. However the QA and machining of the individual pieces is not so great.I had 1 piece broken, 1 piece missing, and 2 pieces that were not properly finished. The holes were misaligned by 1 inch on one piece and they weren't even drilled in on another.Luckily the HomeStyles website had a fairly straight forward form to request replacement parts. I'm sure others will need it. it is available here: http://www.homestyles-furniture.com/part_order_form.phpI got a reply within the next business and parts were shipped without any hassle, however they were shipped ground. I had a half assembled product in my place for 2 weeks while waiting.Once I finally got everything and assembled it, it looked great. Assembly surely wasn't as easy as IKEA, but it also feels and looks way better than an IKEA product. It will very much help to have a partner for assembly.One other minor complaint is that the packing material they used was a very strong smelling and easy shedding variant of styrofoam. I suggest opening it outdoors or somewhere else easy to clean so you get less of this stuff in your house. I had to use a combination of an air blower, dust buster, and damp washcloth along all surfaces to get it all off and it still smelled heavily of the stuff for another two weeks. A month later the smell is basically gone.If you go by the finished product it is a great buy for the money, but make sure you can deal with possibly not having it usable until a month after ordering and airing out the smell.If you are paying someone else to assemble it clearly negotiate pricing if something is wrong with the product and they need more parts before agreeing to anything, as there is a good chance that will happen. 3Very solid, and good customer service So I'm a huge tea person, and had been in the market for something to house all my tea, teapots and accessories. I had my choices narrowed down to this and a couple other small, less expensive pieces, but kept coming back to this one. I'm so glad I did - not only was it easy to assemble, but I was impressed by the quality of it all. It's solid, the stainless steal makes little spills easy to clena, and the glass is nice and clear. We did end up getting two of the same door, but customer service sent us another for free, so problem solved! It looks great and makes me so happy to have all my tea stuff organized in a nice home! 5Great Piece of Furniture - I Love It My new apartment has a very small kitchen with not so many cabinets. I was lacking in space to keep food as well as some dishes and silverware. It s was a trade off for the place having a wood burning fireplace. Not many apartments in my area have one. I also have in apartment washer & dryer instead of a pantry. So I decided to deal with the tiny kitchen and no pantry. My dining room is large enough for a cabinet.I was looking for a more modern design as my table and chairs are black, grey, and white. Then I found this buffet! It s a beautiful addition to the room.The buffet was easy to assemble. I m 4 10.5 tall and put it together by myself. Getting the hutch on top took some ingenuity but for most average height people it should be easy.I picked up some plastic holders for my silverware for $1 each and have my silverware in the drawers. I have plates and bowls in the top and I keep food In the bottom. There s tons of space in the bottom for food. You can even put a cereal box on its side in there and it will fit. Yeah, I still like Captain Crunch. Ha!!Overall, the buffet is a great piece that is sturdy, high quality and easy to assemble. Just follow the directions in order and double check your pieces to make sure you re not putting them on backwards. I love it. 5Love the Cabinet, Hired Assembly Work I bought this on Amazon for a great discounted price compared to other websites for the same buffet. It arrived as scheduled and was boxed very well, since it was clear from the outer condition of both boxes (the top comes separately), that UPS really throws it about. Very heavy item.I read other reviews about difficulty in assembly, especially that it is tricky for one person alone to line it up and it recommends using a drill. Since I am not strong, and don't have a drill, I decided to go for the discounted Amazon assembly service offered especially since I got the cabinet for such a reasonable price. Glad I did. The technician was very skilled. It took him 2 hours of intense work to put it together. He said there were no real problems but the instructions are not great, in particular THE DRAWER, instruction picture shows the parts in BACKWARDs. So keep that in mind.Once put together I was delighted. There were no scratches or dents on the furniture or stainless top. The drawers glide well and the cabinet is roomy.I have a tiny kitchen. Just go a new much smaller stove. My old stove had more work space around the burners and a small compartment for pots. This small stove just has burner space but gave me room to put a small shelf or cabinet. This buffet fit perfectly in that space and allows for the bottom doors of the kitchen cabinet it faces to fully open and enough room for me to move about. The 36" high stainless top meets the top of the little stove perfectly so I have a great working top where I can also put hot pots, etc.The buffet is an attractive piece, but unfortunately I can't appreciate it too much in the narrow space where I placed it. Worked out great for me. I do recommend it if you are handy at assembly work or can get help. The one star drop is because of the difficulty/time consuming in putting together or need to spend more money to hire assistance. 4Liked it enough to buy another one I bought this for a coffee bar. It shipped on time and arrived with slight damage to the back side where the backboard is inserted. My husband is very handy and fixed the issue with no problems. The oak stained counter top is beautiful and we replaced the wood shelf in the hutch with glass and added lighting. It looks perfect beside the french door leading out to the deck. So, I ordered a second one to balance out the other side. I will upload pictures once the second one arrives. I am scoring this a 4 because there is an odor (like glue) that has lingered for awhile 4this is not a bad piece of furniture Overall, this is not a bad piece of furniture, but the wooden top has 2 places where there are "pock" marks. These 2 areas are about 2" x 3" and the two places are identical, with 15 or so nicks. When we contacted Home Styles, we were told "The top is supposed to look this way, it is one of our distressed finishes. We have a machine that makes these small holes." It looks like a manufacturing error, not a distressed piece, since both spots are the same. But our biggest complaint is that there was no indication on the Amazon site that this was a "distressed" piece, and the manufacturer would not acknowledge that. They simply said, "Each dealer sets up what is on the website, we do not put a description out there." This piece is also sold by Wayfair, and on their website, under "Distressed--yes or no" it said "NO." Home Styles did not care that this piece was not advertised as "distressed" and they were not willing to replace the top. This is not even what I would classify as a "distressed" piece, as normal features of distressed furniture were not there.....it was just 2 unattractive places on the wood top that look like big production mistakes. Customer service was extremely disappointing, as we did our research, presented it to them in 5 emails, included photos, and they still said there was nothing they could do, all the wood tops were that way. Guess it's "Let the buyer beware." 2Read, Set, Assemble! It's worth the effort. I LOVE IT. I LOVE it! I made this beauty into a coffee bar. Be prepared to spend time putting it together, but the end product is worth the effort. It arrived in 3 boxes. One for the hutch, one for the base, and one for the wood top. All pieces were wrapped securely, however, 1 inner box inside the box for the hutch had a ding in it. This ding caused a ding in the hutch, but it wasn't too bad, so I decided it wasn't a big deal. I unwrapped each piece and took my time putting it together. Between the unwrapping and actual assembly it took approximately 3 1/2 hours from start to finish. It is very sturdy and solid wood. The magnets were already attached to the base and the hutch. The magnet on the right side of the hutch needed slight adjustment to catch with the door magnet. No biggie. I easily fixed it. The feet have adjustable levelers on the bottom so that if your floors aren't completely level, you should be fine. I've received many compliments. This should last for many years. I am a 53 year old female and I assembled this myself without issue. 5
