    Very stylish but has substantial issues This was one of those DIY assemblies that comes with instructions that are too simplified. My first mistake was putting the locking casters on the wrong end of the base because you can't tell from the diagram which side is the front of the base. From there, it was one annoying issue after another, including putting the wood-finished top board on backwards (yes, you can do that because it doesn't indicate which side is front). Also, the left front door does not close properly because the pre-installed hinges are at the wrong angle. As such, when you shut the left front door, the magnet can't connect completely with the metal on the inside of the door. It's visible from the front and you can see how the left front door hangs crooked. It's far too heavy to return and since the hinges are pre-installed, you would literally have to take the whole thing apart to fix that one error.PROS: This is the first DIY assembly where they give you an extra piece of hardware for each step of the installation. How many times have you cursed the seller when find out you're missing a piece and have to wait for the manufacturer to send you the part. Not with this. You actually get an extra screw, head cap, whatever, for each step of the assembly. The hardware is clearly labeled and in their own little baggies. Instead of just throwing all the hardware into a giant Ziploc bag, they took the time to label each type of hardware for each step. Thank you! The finished pieces are clearly labeled with little stickers. I recommend laying everything out on a carpet so you can easily find the piece you're looking for. As you put it together, REMOVE the stickers. Getting them off after assembling is difficult due to tight corners and limited space. They include a hex wrench for the head bolts as well as a hex wrench drill bit (also in the head bolt bag) that you may think is a shelf holder. It's not. You can use it in a cordless drill, which makes screwing in all those head bolts a breeze. While the unit is not particularly wide, it does have a roomy interior with an adjustable shelf that you can put pretty much anything inside.CONS: Contrary to what people have written, this took about three hours to put together. The second step of putting together all the major pieces is best if you have two people. If not, it's very difficult to get everything to stay together and lined up. They also don't indicate or provide any useful tips on whether you should lay it on its side during this major step, upright, or upside down (upright is best if you're alone as I was). As noted in the PROS, I only realized at the end of the installation that they included a hex wrench drill bit (D'oh!). The hex wrench drill bit is listed on the hardware list but for some reason I must have glazed over it. They should call that out when they first mention the head bolts in the second step of the directions. They call out the hex wrench, so why not its more productive counterpart? As noted above, the hinges come pre-attached to the unit and my left door hangs crooked because the hinge on the left panel is bent. I tried to use some pliers to get it to be less crooked, but the door doesn't hang right or connect properly with the magnets. The top board (I chose the wood cutting board look) has to go on in the right direction so the top drawer closes properly. Unfortunately, my top drawer doesn't close properly (see photo). It's simply too high. I will likely have to remove the top board and put in spacers so the drawer closes properly. The top drawer is very rickety and as you pull it out it drops down in the back a few inches because of the way they did the sliders. I don't foresee me putting anything heavy in the top drawer like metal utensils. It also doesn't shut all the way. See photo. Rotating the top 180 degrees around only makes it worse. It's not as wide as I'd thought it would be. Currently I have my microwave oven on the top of the cart, and have about four inches of room on either side. I was hoping to put my Keurig next to the microwave, but alas it's just not wide enough.All in all it is a very stylish kitchen cart, especially the one with the cherry finish and cutting-board wood top. It's a bit pricey for all the manual labor involved, but it weighs about 80 lbs and I got it shipped 'free' in a few days with Amazon prime. Keep in mind you'll get two boxes. One contains the top, and the other much more heavier box contains the actual cart and hardware. If it was about ten inches wider, didn't have a crooked left front door, or a rickety top drawer that doesn't close all the way, I'd give it five stars. Hopefully the manufacturer or seller has a cost-effective solution for fixing the top drawer (see picture). I may have to move the piece of metal up on the left door so it connects completely with the magnet. 3Good quality I like that this cart is made of hardwood, not crappy particle board like others in this price range. It is relatively easy to put together, although the directional stickers on the drawers were upside down so that took two rounds to put together. But everything else is easy and it takes a phillips head screwdriver and a hex wrench, which is included. It took my husband and I two hours to put it together and we are not great do-it-yourselfers! The adjustable shelf is a nice feature, and I like the depth--I am storing my 9x13 glass dishes in it and the cupboard closes easily. The drawer is not very deep but I just keep plastic silverware in it. Granite top is very nice quality. This fits our needs perfectly--we are keeping a water crock & 3-gallon bottle on top of it and it is supporting the weight just fine. The wood finish is a nice color--exactly as pictured. Very happy with this purchase. I'm only docking a star because the assembly could be easier and the drawer was mislabeled, so assembly of the drawer took a while. But at least the tracks for the drawer were built in already. 4we LOVE it! OMG, we LOVE it!!! Okay, so it doesn't have a "high-end" feel to the materials, but I didn't pay a high end price, so there's that. But having said that, it does look very nice and fits in with the decor of our kitchen. We chose to put the wheels on it, and the functionality is great, we can roll it wherever we want. We made it our coffee/beverage station so we have our Keurig, the pod wrangler, and our zero water container on top and all the coffee, tea and sugar stuff inside which freed up so much counter, cabinet, and refrigerator space. Assembly was not at all difficult and my husband and I put it together in about an hour. Wish I had bought it years ago, it's totally worth it! 5Surpassed Our Expectations This kitchen cart is beautiful and well-crafted. The materials are very heavy duty and it doesn't feel like it's going to fall apart as soon as you start pushing it around. The white is a beautiful shade. It's not super stark white has a slight tint to it that doesn't blind you. The hardware is simple yet modern and stylish. The spice rack is bigger in person and fits more than I thought it would. The casters are large and run smoothly. The stainless steel top is heavy and gives the cart a clean and sharp look. It took two of us about an hour to put it together. This was a great upgrade to the existing cart we originally had. Our shipping box was completely intact and we didn't have any damage to any of the pieces. Absolutely love this and it complements our new fridge wonderfully. We have a tiny kitchen so the extra storage space and countertop this provides is a real lifesaver. Highly recommended! 5Perfect for our tiny kitchen! Perfect for our tiny kitchen. I was really getting so tired of dusting off my soup cans on my old open cart. Now everything is nicely stored away and protected! Assembly was pretty easy too, if I hadn't gotten distracted playing with the cats who were trying to steal away some of the smaller hardware pieces I probably would have finished in under an hour! I decided not to attach the spice rack to save some space but you don't notice because that is the side that faces our fridge. I also put both the locking wheels on the back on purpose so that you couldn't see them. It is a little bit more of an off-white than a bright white but still looks good. 5Not perfectly fitted together I absolutely loved this table. It was a perfect replacement for a very old outdoor rolling table that was long overdue to replacement. Unfortunately after my son put it together (he does this for his profession) everything looked perfect however the drawer would not close properly because it hit on the stainless top. You can slam it shut but then have to use all your strength to open it again. I have no idea how you would return such a product so I guess we will keep it and not close the drawer all the way. ALMOST perfect. 3I eventually got it perfect but the manufacture needs to do a better job ... My hinges came bent and so I had a hard time aligning the doors. Just so I wouldn't bust out the hinges, I drilled new holes on one side to align the doors. I eventually got it perfect but the manufacture needs to do a better job protecting the the doors with the hinges. I do give it 4 because it is all wood construction (which i wasn't expecting). I was expecting OSB, MDF, or strand board. Really nice quality.. Another big thing here is that the sides of the drawers don't fit flush to the drawer front. They drilled the holes too far out to where its not a perfect fit. Although it becomes rigid when the back slides in, it would be nice for that to be flush. Ultimately, Id buy this again but only if there were these improvements made. 4Amazing You know you read all the Reviews and you re just not sure what it s going to be like when you get it all I m gonna tell you this is it one of the best purchases I ve ever made on Amazon this cabinet was very easy to put together with nothing more than an Allen wrench and a screwdriver to a lesson two hours it is sturdy wonderful looking stainless steel top is amazing and it feels like a $500 item. This company (Home Styles) will not honor the guarantee printed right on the instructions,about replacing damaged parts.Too bad too. I like the quality of the product - but after I have all put together...How am I supposed to return to Amazon? 1We Love This Cart - But Problem Putting Together! My husband and I put this cart together in about 2 hours. There was a small problem. One of the pre-drilled holes (the right side - part "B" into part "G") was not the correct size for the bolt to be inserted. My husband had to drill the hole out a little to allow for the bolt and wooden end cap to be inserted correctly. The wood around the hole "tore" a little (see photo). We plan to get some wood putty to cover the blemish. However, the cart looks amazing! It is very study. The shelf is sturdy. We have an entire 7 piece stainless steel cookware set sitting on the shelf with no issues (see photo). The drawer bottom is a bit "cheap" but works for our needs. It seems to be made of a very thin piece of wood or pressed fake stuff...not sure which. The wheels are heavy duty and work great! Overall we are very happy with this purchase. The small pitfall during assembly will be forgotten after many years of use, I'm sure. 4
