Good quality and design - I suggest you attach the bars to the top first and then complete the assembly - this makes it easier to align the screw holes for the upholstered top. 5Not bad at all, just not a amazing This is a good accent piece and definitely gets the job done. The base looks solid and has a masculine feel while not being over bearing to room.The only issue I have with this is that I know the linen will wear away and the cushioning will lose its bounce in no time. From the get go the foam has a lite crunching feel to it, which can't be good for longevity but I figured that in a couple years I will have it redone with a higher quality foam and fabric. So for the $170 or so and 2 day shipping, I really can't complain. 3Cute but, not the highest quality construction. Received w buttons already popped from tufting. Maxine returned and sent a new one no problem- replacement one had nothing missing but, after having only a short while, the stitching started to look stretched immediately 3Look good...made me feel bad. It looks fantastic, but I had a ton of difficulty with the hardware. I'm not sure if the holes were machined correctly or if the screws were bad, but putting these things together was a chore (I bought 3). Once they were completed they looked excellent but constructing these suckers left much to be desired. 3This is a nice looking bench with sturdy legs This is a nice looking bench with sturdy legs. When larger people sit on it there is no flex, providing safe support. The bench was easy to put together once I read the directions :-) The leather feels thick and the padding is firm. I have one at my front door for putting shoes on and taking them off, as well as at the foot of my bed. I would buy them again and I do recommend this bench to others. 5Love love love this bench Love love love this bench. It's comfortable and pretty. I was expecting the grey to be a little different. I feel like it has brown undertones but it is beautiful. The actual metal was banged up in some areas but not enough to return it but that's why I give it a 4 instead of 5. Beautiful piece. 4Great company! I love this bench, but I love the customer service even more. The bench came slightly defective. There is a piece of metal sticking out of the side and the box arrived with 90% of the needed screws missing. However the company quickly addressed my concerns. Let me keep the bench and refunded me half the cost. 5Be careful, sharp edges This thing isn't the best quality as far as the way the base and bench fit together. Holes weren't lined up exact, and once it was put together I had one of the metal corners sticking out (which are sharp). I disassembled and reassembled to try to fix it but no matter what there was at least one corner. Oh, and the instructions were wrong in the order the bolt, lock washer, and washer fit together. 2Looks good (5/5) but manufacturing could be better (3/5) Assembly is easy with all the holes at the right places as long as you use the correct bar for the central bar (I've seen pictures from other customers with the wrong bar in the middle, no wonder they had trouble with missing holes). The screws and threads are OK. My two issues with the manufacturing are: (a) each welding is a flimsy three points welding instead of a complete welding all along the connected pieces. (b) the attachment points for the central bar were welded in the wrong position so the central bar is way higher than it should be (see photo #1), the solution is to insert thick washers (see photo #2) inside the central bar in order to lower it (see result in photo #3). I used plastic washers from an unrelated past kit assembly (there were not exactly the size I needed, but good enough.) Beside this, the grey fabric looks good and the pseudo-chrome looks equally good. Due to the flimsy welding, I do not think it is wise to have morbid obese people sitting on the ottoman... It would not take much for the manufacturer to fix these issues for the next batch by using thicker metal to allow full welding. Conclusion, it is an overall 4/5. 4It looked good while it lasted. I bought this less than two years ago. It was mostly by my dogs to get on and off the bed. It started wobbling and wobbling more. I thought I needed to tighten the screws but when i lifted the seat to turn it over, the metal brace and the mounts on one side broke completely off. 2
