So disappointed in this "new" product Poor stitching in many spots and none in some so upset this was needed for a guest 1Not enough fluff I'm not impressed and wonder if all of the great reviews are from the manufacturer....We have a fairly new mattress that is extremely firm and I though this would give a great pillowy feel to our mattress. It doesn't. It's not nearly as fluffy as I wanted but seems to be made nicely. I should have spent more $$ is how I feel about it, maybe I would have gotten more fluff. It has been a few months and I wash my sheets and mattress pad regularly. I put this mattress pad in the machine looking clean but I wanted it to be clean and smell fresh. I don't know wth is in this mattress pad but every time I take it out of the washer and dryer it is more filthy looking than when it went in. This really is trash and I would not recommend this mattress pad. 1Thick plush mattress pad you can sink into This will be the start of my third year using this mattress pad. I'll be honest, I get a new mattress pad each year, not because it has gone bad after a year, but because I've been moving each year. This mattress pad comes tightly packed, but is difficult to put back in the original bag after use. With that being said, I have gone back to this same mattress pad every time I go somewhere new because I love it so much. It is very thick and fluffy and adds a nice barrier between the bed and your body. This is perfect for college dorm mattresses if you want to put a barrier between you and the thousands of other students who've slept their prior to you. It is super soft and comfy and makes the bed feel so plush. I would definitely recommend this mattress pad to anyone that is looking for a thick plush mattress pad that you can sink into. I would not recommend this to those that are looking for a firm support. For me this is an amazing product that deserves 5 stars because it meets my expectations and needs. If you're in search of a good firm supportive mattress pad, I would look elsewhere. 5Awesome pad My girlfriend and I love this mattress topper. She has a slipped disk and severe sciatic pain and our firm mattress was no longer comfortable for her so we did some research. We didn't know if we should get a pad or a topper but we did know that we didn't want something that would change the entire feel of the bed. Still, she needed a little cushion for pressure points. We decided on this one based on the fact that it looked like it was good quality from all of the customer pictures. The price was also a factor as we didn't want to spend over $100 on something we might not like. I read somewhere that this microfiber type of fill is better than other types because it holds up and doesn't flatten. I also did a lot of research on memory foam toppers and decided against it due to some controversial chemicals. So we decided on this one and our nights have been so comfortable. We both sleep so much better and she is happy with the amount of pressure relief it has given her. It's only been a week but so far no flattening has occurred. I imagine we will have to shake it out and re-fluff every few weeks, but that doesn't bother me. The reviews are good for a reason! 5Is it possible to sleep on air? :) First of all, you really can't beat the price of this mattress cover for a king sized bed for they normally run between $150-$300. When I received this in the mail I noticed that they compressed all air out of the bag the mattress cover was in. As soon as you open it, it pops and puffs up like a marshmallow. What I like is this cover not only hooks on to the corners of your bed but it covers your ENTIRE mattress and wraps under it. From the looks of it and touch, I couldn't wait until night fall to try this out. So that night at bedtime when I first sat on my bed I was like, "Wow, this is really comfy!" It got better! When I stretched out it's like I was engulfed in an ocean of fluffiness. Every bit of this cloud of a mattress cover wrapped around me like a pillowy cocoon. Needless to say, I slept like a newborn after a warm bottle of milk and a diaper change. Normally, I am up at 5:30 a.m. When I woke up at 7 and didn't want to get out the bed because I was so comfortable, I knew I made a great decision in purchasing this. No, I don't work for or get paid by the guys that sell this mattress cover...it's just that comfortable!!! It is HARD to get out of bed every morning because this mattress cover feels that good. I am VERY happy with this purchase! Nothing is better than a good nights sleep, especially when you are sleeping on air! 5The rave reviews must be fake I have come to the conclusion the reviews regarding this product are fake. This did not make even the smallest difference in my mattress. If anything I would say it feels more firm with this topper. I am 99% of the time a 5 star reviewer but this is the worst product I've bought yet based on rave reviews which have to be fake because there is no way this is softer then whatever mattress you already have. Do not buy 1Mixed review Instructions state to launder first. Used a front loading washer (so it tumbled, no twisting against agitator) on gentle cycle but stitching still broke. Simple enough to repair, however, a quilting weight thread should have been used in production of product. Not all the segments appear to be filled equally but don't think there's enough of a difference to be noticeable when laying on it. It does provide a pillow type cushion that made my base model air number bed more cushy without sinking into it like with a foam topper, however, for me the heat is an issue. It's not the sweat inducing heat from a foam topper where it feels like your skin can't "breathe" but still uncomfortable for me. Felt like I was wrapped up in an oven which many may find cozy, but I prefer a cooler base with warmth from the top with heavy blankets. My thermostat was set to 63 deg but I still tried cracking a window (in Wisconsin) to cool off which just left me with a cold head while the rest of me felt stuffy from being too hot. 3Bad for those who DONT want to sleep well :) I must first say that I don't work for this company. Nor did I get any discount for this product for my review. In fact I don't write reviews and this product literally prompted me to write one. Whatever I wrote here is my honest opinion. I'm usually skeptical. When I try out new things, they seem to me to be worse than they actually are. I already bought a lot from amazon for this month so thought of buying this topper later or maybe never. But got it anyways. This mattress topper is one of the things I'm really glad I bought.Sleep is very important to me. I made sure that I get a good quality mattress. But I must say my mattress turned out to be a tad softer than what I go for usually. Since it was on the mid way of a firm mattress and a soft mattress, which really irritated me, I thought a pad could really help. I got this two days back. It comes in a neat package and once you remove the covers it fluffs up like a marshmallow. I have a king size mattress and it wrapped around it neatly. Yes there could have been more material underneath for tucking but I did not face any issues because of that. Once I put it on and slept on it, it's truly like "sleeping on the cloud". I just didn't want to get out of it all day. I had the most peaceful sleep in a long time. This is the most comfortable setup I have ever slept on. I was wondering, pads can make a firm bed softer, but can they help a soft bed to have more support? This one seems to give my back so much support that my mattress alone couldn't give. As an added bonus, I'm not having to do my bed every morning from scratch. Just fold the comforters and arrange the pillows, that is it. I like to be lazy :)But I must say this spoiled me a bit. I just don't want to move out of my bed. At this price point, its a no brainer for you to purchase unless you are used to more expensive kind of pads that could feel better than this one. This is my first pad and am really very happy about it. 5Get what you pay for I washed the mattress topper for the first time today, and it fell apart in the washer. Mind you, I have the largest capacity washer that you can buy right now, and it doesn't have an agitator in it. I loved the mattress topper, but didn't realize how cheap it was until today. I'm very upset, the return window has closed and now I'm out the money I spent. Lesson learned. 1I love it I love it. At first I didn't think it would fit my bed but then when I stretched it out, it works actually perfect. I never had a mattress pad and this feels very great. My bed was okay to sleep on anyways but then after putting it on, it felt better. I even laid on my roommates bed to feel the difference and you can totally feel the difference. It was worth the money in my opinion. 5
