SUPER POOR QUALITY. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY I used this 3 times. I was going to send it back but my husband was able to keep it screwed on but after 3 uses it completely broke (too late to send back). The plunger is attached to a plastic insert. The plastic insert turns when you try to screw on the plunger so there is no way to keep them attached. The dispenser tube attached to the plunger completely broke off. SEE PHOTOS 1Nice product Very pretty! Exactly what I wanted at less than half the price of comparable trash cans at Lowe's and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I suggest purchasing a cheap plastic liner, however, the avoid the possibility of chipping paint inside. The weight is great and size is perfect! 5Bronze Soap Dispenser As described with no defects. It has a sort of glittery sheen to it. It's slightly larger than I thought it'd be, but I hadn't paid much attention to the dimensions.The top screws off very easily and it is plastic on the inside.Sometimes it drips a little if you push the pump too hard for too much. 3Disappointed... Item arrived from Amazon by itself in a box. No protective plastic bag or bubble wrap to protect it during shipping; just two air pillows. Therefore, the top edge was scuffed and knicked, which really stands out on the uniform finish. Also, the pump is difficult to screw on. You must play with it a few times before the pump sits on the base without a large gap on one side. I almost wondered if it was the wrong pump for the base, but it looks like the one in the picture. 2Easy to clean, looks great in my bathroom This is a really simple toothbrush holder, but it s perfect in my opinion. It s small enough to save space on your vanity top, it has a solid bottom to catch any water/toothpaste that may drip, and it s extremely easy to clean. Not only is the whole thing open and easy to wipe down, the stem also unscrews and the top section will separate from the bottom. After fighting to clean a toothbrush holder that was completely closed in, this was extremely satisfying. 545% Totally satisfied Overall, these dispensers are of inconsistent and generally poor quality. Through the return and replace process I eventually received 11 soap dispensers to get the 5 I originally ordered. The 6 returned were examples of ALL of the issues mentioned in the other negative reviews. In this case, it may have been more convenient to go to the local bed & bath big box and select / mix and match parts etc. to make this purchase. 2Cheap Junk I don't know how many various bronze soap dispensers I have bought, some can't pump soap, some quickly break. I have bought some at higher price points thinking I would get a better unit only to be disappointed.This one is apparently painted with non waterproof paint. I started noticing a brown stain below the dispenser that I initially thought was rust and spilled soap. I clean it up only to have more and more brown goo at the bottom to the point where a day after cleaning it up it's running down into the sink and getting worse by the day. I now know that the brown goo is paint coming off the dispenser. I'm guessing to save a few pennies they painted it with water based paint that dissolves when it gets wet! This may work for a spare bath that rarely gets used but otherwise it won't last. JUNK!! 1Does not hold up Bought this in August of 2017 and by March of 2019 it was in the garbage. We were continually finding soap on the counter and at first thought the kids must have been just pumping soap out of it. We eventually discovered that it was leaking rusty soap out of bottom, under the non-slip foam. It had been on a shelf and not on the edge of the sink where water would have been the cause of the rusting. There was rust in the soap as we dispensed it. I guess we did get over a year of use out of it so that is why I give it 2 stars; but even though it looked great, I will not buy another one to replace it knowing this could happen again. 2Simple yet elegant We just moved into a new house with oil brushed bronze fixtures so I was looking for kitchen & bathroom accessories that will match but will also fit my budget. I ordered one hand soap dispenser to see how it looks and upon receiving it, I ordered my second one right away! I love it! And definitely recommend! 5The first one was shipped damaged and unusable. I cant figure our how to use the handle pump without soap leaking. From the seal. The tgreads don't seem complimentary.I already filled up the 2nd one with soap and dont want to return it again. I considered using it as a door stop but its not heavy enough. It does however, fit perfectly in the bottom of my trash can.. 1
