Amazing value! I purchased two of these because we needed nightstands with ample storage. These are real wood- no mdf or fiberboard. The drawers glide smoothly. They are well made and easy to assemble. I've used gray stain and changed out the knobs. They look great! 5Perfect!! I looked everywhere for a 3 drawer dresser that I could use as a nightstand. I purchased 2 of these and couldn't be happier. They are solid wood. Very sturdy and heavy. I stained painted and put wooden wheels in mine to match the other furniture in our room. I am very pleased!! 5Missing hardware and assembly instructions Bedroom chest of drawers came missing hardware and assembly instructions. Very disappointing to have to repackage and return this large item. 1better construction than expected better construction than expected. easy to assemble. use of panels made from smaller pieces of wood means top and sides will look better painted than stained. drawer bottoms even have stiffeners.very good value. 5Great quality and good price. I bought this for my mother to use as a TV stand and for extra storage. It is very good quality and took very little time to put together. It is solid wood with a nice natural color so you don't have to paint or stain it if you don't want to. 5Great little dresser Easy to put together and stains well. Perfect size for a small nursery. I'm using it as the changing table with an oval shaped changing pad (slightly smaller than the standard rectangle ones) and it's perfect. Would be small for an adult room. 5Very Impressed My husband and I are reviewing two pieces of International Concepts furniture. Models BD-8003 (Brooklyn 3 drawer chest) and BD-8013 (Brooklyn 3 drawer nightstand), both unfinished. They arrived with no damage and all pieces accounted for. We were very impressed with the quality and look of the wood. Everything is real Parawood (look it up) except for the back panels, drawer frames and bottoms which are laminated plywood. Assembly went very well and amazingly square (I used a framing square to check everything). All holes are pre-drilled except for the chest where the drawer bottom brace gets screwed into the front and back pieces and where the back brace piece screws into the sides. I pre-drilled them myself to keep from splitting the plywood and we would advise anyone else to do the same. We would also suggest that you check square on everything before completely tightening the bolts and screws. The ONLY problem we ran into is the brace in the back center of the chest (see the picture). The dowel pin holes were drilled with the wrong spacing on both sides, or the holes were wrong on both ends of the brace piece. This piece also gets a screw in each end so I merely removed the dowel pins and proceeded with the assembly. I called the phone number listed in the instructions to ask about this problem and found out that they will only send missing hardware and that a wood problem would require returning the cabinet for exchange or refund. That was very disappointing. All-in-all, we would strongly recommend these furniture pieces to anyone interested. 5Very nice chest of drawers Just finished assembling, staining and varnishing this chest of drawers. I love how it looks in my walk in closet. I only wish that I had bought one with more drawers. I might actually purchase a larger one soon!!! 5Five Stars love it! more golden than the picture but its awesome 5Less stinky with time. This is an updated review. After 3 weeks, the odor (likely related to the plywood glue) began to dissipate. We still smell it when we open drawers, but it is not pungent. Note that I have not finished the chest yet. I suggest anyone who purchases it leaves it in a well ventilated room/garage for at least two weeks prior to using. Otherwise it s a reasonably sturdy item for the price. As far as assembly: pretty easy, with one of the two units we purchased missing a kregg jig angled hole drilled for the back. Not terrible. 4
