I'd rate this 3.5 stars -- somewhere between "it's ok" and "I like it". It arrived quickly and none of the pieces were damaged. There was some splintering, but nothing really noticeable. The instructions were really straightforward -- on paper. It took me a few iterations to put this together before it was stable. I followed the instructions, but the plywood for the back of the dresser wasn't flat. I wouldn't call it warped, but it definitely wasn't flat. That combined with the grooves where the plywood was supposeed to fit did not line up well, made for a wobbly frame for this chest. I reassembled it and was able to tighten up the screws a bit better to minimize the wobble. It's probably less than an eighth of an inch (the movement), but the process of getting there was mostly adjustment after adjustment.The drawers were easy to assemble and fit easily in the chest. They appear to sit evenly, are stable, and slide easily. I haven't stained it yet -- in part because I can't decide what kind of stain (color) I want to use, in part because I'd like to do this when the weather is a bit warmer. My plan is to add to this review after I stain the chest. 3Great solid wood product Initially intimidated by the assembly but everything, including pilot holes, were predrilled. Took 15 min. The stuff is your ticket.For finishing if I wanted stained I use wWatco danish oil, Wait a week Three coats social act 1/2 half pound cut, Two coats of Minwax spray lacquer. San between coats. There's 3 3M Sponge sanding block for gratefulness. I want to clear finish I just eliminate what upthe Watco.Great stuff highly recommended 5I'm in love! Absolutely beautiful and great quality!
