Inexpensive yet over-priced but pleasing to the eye There are very few options for a cart of this size and appearance and this one is functional but far from well made. Inexpensive yet over-priced, it's flaws would be forgivable if about half the cost. Poorly packaged so arrived damaged. Smelled of a musty old basement. Gluing the cracked wood upright was less hassle than a return and has proved acceptable. Construction is of low quality; cheap loose screws and fragile wood, yet when carefully assembled looks very nice and handles light duty, a plate of fruit and cooking magazines. Wouldn't consider chopping on the top but from a distance provides the pleasing facade of a cutting board. As mentioned in other reviews, glue is an absolute necessity and not included. 3Awesome and EZ to put together!! This was a quick and easy build and was perfect for what i needed. It was a little shorter than i though it would be, but it still met our needs. No scratches, not damage to the wood and fast delivery. 4Works well for what I need it for, but expensive for what you get. It is wood, but not oak, just the "oak color finish". That wasn't a surprise to me. There are some uneven gaps where the shelves fit into the legs and the bottoms of the shelves are not well finished. As other reviewers mentioned, there are no holes for the screws that hold the shelves in. You may want a punch or a drill to assemble. Because of the way you need to hold the cart to attach the shelves, you may want two people. Overall, it is not that hard to assemble. Also, the cart is manufactured in Vietnam, if you are concerned about country of origin. Overall, it is a sturdy cart that fits where I need it to and goes with my cabinets and furniture. My objections are not strong enough to cause me to return it and look for something else. 3Otherwise it is a good product. Only one puzzle putting it together.No Holes in the shelves for the screws. Took me a while to figure out that the screws were self tapping.The instructions didn't state that and as a woman it was a problem. Otherwise it is a good product. 4Not just for microwaves. . . The cart was easy to assemble. It has an attractive finish and seems sturdy. We are using it in our bedroom to hold a 32" flatscreen TV so its strength is not being tested. It was the height and width we needed and we found very few alternatives. We are satisfied with its appearance, size and style. 5Nice microwave cart It's a very attractive, sturdy microwave cart, only thing, had a bit of a hard time putting it together, I needed better instructions. 4Sturdy, well built I bought this to replace a particle board version and what a difference. It is much more sturdy and wheels around nicely. Easy to assemble. I'm thinking of getting more. 5Nice and sturdy This cart is pretty much what you see in the picture. It was fairly easy to put together and the packaging was fine. I would recommend it. 5Nice Cart The cart is a bit smaller than I thought. My microwave covers the entire top! But it's a nice.
