Customer Reviews

It's like a big sheet of thin rubbery plastic that you ...The pool cover is a pain to say the least. The way they designed the rope to lace through the edge of the cover doesn't make any sense to me. Yes, you have to lace it through yourself - it doesn't already come done for you. It's like a big sheet of thin rubbery plastic that you have to lace the rope through in order to have it "hook" under the corners of the pool. It came with a tear near one of the edges right out of the box and since it wasn't towards the middle, I didn't send it back bc we needed it. Other than the design flaw and damage, it does its job for the most part. We've only had it blow off once and it more or less sank than blew off. It was during a rain/wind storm so the top filled with water and it sank down into the pool along the one side. You really get what you pay for with this one. 2it fits fine and is tight enough to keep pets from trying ...The cover works quite well on a pool 103 " long. For those that don't realize it and complain; the cover is SUPPOSED to rest on the waters surface. That's how it works as a heater for the water in the pool. When I put the cover on; it fits fine and is tight enough to keep pets from trying to get in between the cover and pool. It is of nice heavy material that does NOT resemble a "tarp" in any way. I'm glad I purchased it.HINT:If you can't stand the thought of the cover touching your water, place a large pool float on the water before the cover goes over it. The float will keep the cover suspended and out of the water. As mentioned before; it negates its effectiveness as a heater if done this way though. 5Don't bother. Buy a real tarp insead.Fits the pool great, although it's a thin plastic that just feels flimsy... But the string (not rope) used to hold it there is a joke. Plastic holes don't quite count as grommets. And if there's any rain or wind it just flops off. Little too much wind tore 2 "grommet" holes clean off so now it's useless. Think I'll just get a tarp and some stakes, this is useless. 1Plastic tarp and string. Not as pictured. DO NOT BUYThis is a tarp and a string. The picture is very deceptive, leading you to believe it's a snug cover with possibly elastic to secure it around the corners. WRONG. You get a plastic rectangle and some rope. Good luck getting in on properly. And it sags in the middle, sticking to the water, no matter how tight you secure it. POS. DO NOT BUY. 1TOTALLY WORTHLESS. Use a fitted bedsheet instead.I hate to write negative reviews ... but this "cover" is horrible. You can't put it on by yourself ... and there's a ridiculous, separate string that is supposed to secure it... (if you can figure out how to thread the stupid thing). AND then, if the cover touches the water before you "secure" it, forget about it. The water will suck the cover down. Such a waste of money. Ugh!!! I ended up using a twin fitted bed sheet to keep the bugs out overnight ... works like a champ. Save your $$ for some fun pool toys. We LOVE the pool. 1Must have for the larger Intex pools. The cover I received is dark blue and you cannot see through it. The material seems thick and sturdy enough for its purpose. People that complain about the fit probably bought this for the smaller size pool. I have the 120" x 72" x 22" Intex pool, and this fits like a fitted sheet fits a mattress. If it seems loose or saggy, then make sure the pool is inflated completely and the drawstring is pulled snug and tied off. Some people complained about the drawstring being confusing. There are six built-in grommet holes in the cover, two on each of the long sides, and one on each of the short sides. Just put the cover on the pool then starting at one of the long side grommets, thread the drawstring through the hole and work your way around the pool, threading through each grommet. When you're done, you'll end up with the two ends of the drawstring on one of the long sides of the pool. Pull it tight, allowing the drawstring to go slightly under the corners of the pool and tie the ends together. We've had several severe thunderstorms since I've installed this, and it has held up perfectly. 5Works great! This worked perfectly for my big inflatable intex pool. It kept leaves and other debris out (I would be a bit surprised if it hadn't) and has a cinchable cord along the bottom to keep it secured to the pool. If you plan to keep water in your rectangular inflatable pool for more than a day or two, this is a must have. 5Not good for 103 pool!!!Pretty disappointed, add states that this will work for 103 pool but it is absolutely not designed for them!! When I opened the package it was just a cover and a string, no direction. No idea if there was a right way to put them together. So I tried to do it like the picture on the box. Then I tried to put it over the pool and it s HUGE!! And there doesn t seem to be away to make it fit snugly other then tucking it under the sides of the pool like a fitted bed sheet, which you can t really do when it s full of water. So it just looks huge and sloppy not to mention the middle falls in so it will fill with water when it rains... the product itself seems good quality but definitely not intended for the smaller pool! 1Lasted Through Two Storms! I was getting this product to cover my " adult lounge pool" lol. I wanted a pool, but needed something that I could manage myself since my husband wasn't originally supportive of the expensive options. However, we two people to place the cover like bottom sheet on a bed. At first thought, we said, "I don't know if this is going to work, but it did!! I got this cover because it eased the worry of kids or too much debri getting in the water. The picture of the water on top of the cover is after two heavy rain & high wind storms. The cover stayed put even with that questionable string, which was included and is supposed to keep the cover in place. The pictures of the pool are just for reference and I bought that pool at the Christmas Tree Shop. The fabric feels bit thin and I am not sure of the longevity because I recieved this last week, but for the price,it will do. This amazing cover fits that 10 FT pool. 10 ft x 6ft x 22in to be exact! 4Easily cover the pool.So we have had this cover about a month, and it s been pretty great. It easily covers the 120 x72 intex pool. It beats using a plastic drop cloth for multiple reasons:1. It s much thicker.2. Conforms to the pool.3. The rope keeps it secure (even on windy days).4. It helps heat up the water... since water directly out of the hose is a little too cool for small children. It has held up during the summer thunderstorms. It s easy to cover and uncover. I will certainly update if it starts having problems, but as of now, I think it s well worth the money and now we don t have to empty and refill the pool as often. 5
