disappointed - so much potentialShould have heeded the other reviews. See my picture - After nearly 2 weeks of leaving heavy yearbooks on it nightly, the wavy pattern has hardly settled. It's a nice looking/feeling product but how practical is it to expect the customer to spend months (at this rate) to get it to lay flat? Quality Control is is an issue. They need to inspect these before shipping them out. Maybe you'll get lucky. You have to ask yourself is it worth the time to deal with the hassle...2Perfect colors - non slipPerfect colors - non slip! Perfectly to easily use my mouse on. I constantly put my coffee mug on it (hot) and frappacinno cup (dripping wet) and it sustains my torture!Amazing addition to my work station. 2 other colleagues ordered it!5Overall satisfiedI needed a mouse-pad but I was looking for something more than the small square ones. It gives a good feel to the desk and cleans easily, just brush off the crumbs and you're good to go! My only concern is how they package it. It is delivered rolled-up, so the last 4 inches has a wave in it that does not lay completely flat. Over time it is getting better but it kills my OCD. I'm sure there is a way to get it to straighten out, but it's not even a big enough issue to deal with. Also, with the world map, you can brush up on where places are located.5Great mat!Best decision! I do appreciate that at least they really do try to make things right here. Will their continual pursuit of trying to better my experience with their product, I will acknowledge their efforts. Not many companies will do this. In the end, they gave me a replacement and continually worked with me throughout the process. Some tactics were a bit weird, but at least they try. Bumping the review back up to a 5 star.New Review of mouse pad:- Materials are nice, and the pad is not wavy! (my initial issue)- Large area: enough to cover my keyboard + mouse and have more space- Threads seem durable - haven't had any issues so far and I use this daily as I work from home (so 8+ hours/day)- Doesn't leave a white mark while your hands are on the mouse pad for hours/day (work with this mouse pad). A lot of black mouse pads leave a white mark after a while, but these seem not to show that- Doesn't slide around! Stays put- Comfortable: Does have some thickness to it and it's squishy, so it's not like using a piece of paper like some mouse pads (again, working with this 8+ hours a day, comfort does make a difference)Initial Review:Came folded (pressed together rather than rolled up) and when I took it out of the plastic bag it comes in, the mouse pad was very wavy. Hard to use in that state since it's not very smooth using a mouse over the wavy surface. Put some things on top to try and flatten it, but I'll have to check after a few days (checked after 3 days of having heavy materials on a flat wooden board that was on top of the mouse pad - still folded up). Something like this shouldn't need additional prep work before use...Contacted customer service and they only suggested to put something on there and "it will be flattened soon" and that was it. I mentioned that It's already been a few days and still very wavy. Customer service was of no help, not even an apology for poor packaging. Decided to wait a few more days to see if flattening this with heavy books helped (which it didn't). I then wrote this review, and only then did customer service reach out to me to try and rectify the situation (see update above).5Nice pad, slightly thin, no warping or smell for meAfter reading a bunch of other reviews, and using Fakespot, I chose to order this pad to see if the negative reviews were still accurate. The negativity was primarily centered around two issues - it smells, and it was rippled after unpacking and would not lay flat. Neither seemed to be the case for me.It came rolled up as expected, but immediately unrolled completely flat after removing it from an unexpectedly nice sleeve. It was in pristine shape as expected for a new item. There was no overt smells that I could detect. If I stick my nose to it, yes, I can smell the rubber, but otherwise I personally can't smell it at all.The pad is nicely made and provides an excellent mouse surface. I use a Logitech MX Vertical mouse. The mouse worked normally and did not snag or stutter in any way. Accuracy was as good as my previous Reflex pad.The edges of the pad are stitched and the overall construction is good. The pad is fairly thin when compared to the Reflex lab mat I had previously. This pad is about 3 mm thick whereas the Reflex is closer to 5 mm thick. The Reflex also has a nicer, thicker border. Of course the Reflex pads costs 40% more so that makes sense.I work with a lot of people all over the world, and having the time zones in front of me was the draw to me. Saves me a google search... I can't vouch for the other designs, but this black and white map is great, and isn't overly obtrusive or distracting.Overall I think the value is well worth it. If quality and durability are your primary concerns, the Reflex pads are some of the best I have tried, but I would question if they are worth 40% more if you tend to abuse your pads. I do like this mat and it will be my daily driver until I wear it out.4good product, perfect size for computer deskNice product would like to buy it again good quality and hight end matelic printing job.5Good Build QualityIt looks amazing with my all blue setup. The feel of it is really good and it looks quality. Just unrolled it and it's very smooth without any lumps. Will have to test its durability but so far it feels like it will last.5This mat is outstanding...This mat is out of sight! It's comfortable to me. My mouse moves smoothly over it, no delay on screen or anything. It doesn't move around on my desk. And it goes good with my little brass accented plant. As for durability, I'd probably need to give you an update later in the months to come. As for now, it looks like it's pretty well put together. I was looking for something vibrant, not cheap looking and not to thick...so I found this and took a chance on it. I'm a bit of a historian so I like the fact I could glance down at the map and see where a continent or country is. The small words (outside of the main lands) do not bother me at all. I'm very satisfied! As I said on my previous review of the plant.....it's all about coordination.5
