Customer Reviews

Cheap construction, handle broke first use As soon as I opened it I could tell the construction was so cheap it would not last. With lots of nonstick spray I cooked the first egg and it worked great. As I flipped my second egg the handle broke off in my hand. The handle cracked right through the space occupied by a screw indicating a serious design flaw. Fortunately they refunded my money. Won't buy it again. FYI it does not have a no-stick coating and it can hold 2 eggs at once just fine. 1great panI have one of these pans myself. My daughter uses it every time she stays over, so I bought her one of her own. Great for a single egg and it's non-stick surface is easy to clean.5Best little frypan for one egg!I love this little baby frypan. It's the best thing for making my own egg mc muffins or an individual egg. I bought it primarily for that reason. I didn't give it 5 stars for versatility because I'm not sure what else I would use it for. However, I've only had it a short while and haven't found another reason to use it yet.5Awesome product! This is an awesome product! It is wonderful for a single fried egg without any grease! Awesome results. Only recommendation is that you buy the small spatula to go with it as traditional ones are too big to use.5Don't touch the handle with your bare fingers. We bought this to replace a worn-out similar size non-stick pan for making egg sandwiches. The handle is too long, the empty pan will not sit flat on a burner without tipping. The super cute "Joie" insert in the handle is deceiving.....it gets really hot!1Great concept but coating flakes off and gets in your ... Great concept but coating flakes off and gets in your omelette. I have always used this on medium-low heat cooking 5 minutes on one side and 3 on the other. I use such a low heat the egg is not entirely set at the 5 minute mark and sometimes some will spill out the side when you flip it. Always watched the pan by hand with a soft sponge, not a scouring pad. No excuse for the coating to flake off and the screws for the handle tend to loosen up. Don t tighten the screws too much or you will break it. 1I love this double sided pan!!!I love that it has 2 sides so I can flip the egg over and have it cook on both sides. I make 1 whole egg and 1 or 2 egg whites, put it on a bagel thin with a slice of homemade turkey sausage on a toasted and buttered bagel thin for breakfast everyday. It is so easy and tastes delicious! I still spray it with a little Pam as I read someone else's review that said stuff stuck to it inspire of the non-stick coating. I haven't had any problems with it yet. You do have to either hold the handle while the egg is cooking or balance it carefully as it tends to tip easily.5I really like this panI really like this pan, for the most part. There seems to be one spot about the size of a quarter that sticks no matter what I do. I clean it real well and use a cooking spray but still that one spot sticks. Other than that it's a great pan.4Perfect Egg Sandwiches. This little pan makes the best egg sandwiches. They're great for breakfast or even lunch. The size of the pan is perfect and eggs come out nice and thick for sandwiches. The size is perfect even if you want to just plate an egg and don't want to use a larger pan.Even though the pan is a nonstick pan I strongly recommend that you use just a little bit of vegetable oil in the pan when cooking eggs. They seem to cook better. Clean up is easy with this pan and under normal care and use should last a very long time. The only change I would make to this pan is if it had a small cover either metal or glass. I cover the pan with a small plate to retain heat and I think the eggs cook faster and better.I do however enjoy this pan and think it was a very good purchase. I recommend it.4Best Omelette Pan I love the Omelette, This pan makes very soft and fluffy Omelettes. Thats why I am giving 5 star.I am a vegetable lover too. So I would like vegetables in my Omelette. Usually I like to add finely chopped green chilies, chopped onions, green pepper, coriander leaf and tomato. Then a pinch of the following dry powders, cumin powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder, cayenne pepper powder. All of which are added to the egg before it is whisked. This made a great Omelette with 1 egg + LOTS and LOST of Vegetables or with 2 eggs + LOTS and LOTS of Vegetables.Having said that, you could make Spanish tortilla de patatas. Or you could become creative and add whatever you want. You could add grated carrot, grated beet, etc. With a normal pan if I do the above, flipping becomes an issue, but in this pan its very easy and works great. With a normal pan, the Omelette will become thin as the pan is big in most cases. The egg will run as soon as you pour on the pan. Vegetables will be in one side and the egg will be on the other side if the pan is in a slight angle. (as liquids tend to flow). With this pan, its great. No such issues.I recommend it for easy 1 or 2 egg Omelette makers. 5Not horrible, but not for me! I should've known when I received it and saw how small it was to just return it but thought I would try it anyway. Just made my first omelet and this pan is NOT for me. I saw another reviewer say this makes the perfect 3 egg omelet with a few ingredients. No... It might make an okay 2 (large) egg omelet with a tiny sprinkle of 1 ingredient. And that's if you like puffy eggs. I DO NOT like puffy eggs. I like my omelets to have thin NON PUFFY egg and be packed full of the whole garden of veggies. If you like my kind of omelet find another pan.I will say if you are dieting and you want something to force you to eat a very small portion and you like egg only omelet it could work out well for you. In my mind why not just make a scramble? Also will comment functionality is good. Seems decent quality, pan opens/closes/locks/unlocks smoothly. Very easy wipe and clean. As with any non stick material do not heat to higher than med low and your food will take longer to cook on the low heat. This pan will either be great or horrible for you depending on what you are looking for. 2Good size but lacks balanceIt's the perfect size for one egg that fits on English muffin. The egg doesn't stick although using a little butter or oil is needed. What I find inconvenient is that the handle (even though it's cute) is heavier than the pan bed. Therefore, the pan will not set flat on the stove until some weight is in the pan. Thus lack of balance also makes it awkward if you want to turn something in the pan. When you lift the contents up off the pan bed, then the pan isn't balanced with the weight off of it and tilts off of the burner. So, hang on to the pan handle! It isn't dishwater safe although it isn't much to wash.4Fool proof eggs I absolutely am terrible at cooking eggs so I bought this to help my over easy skills. Made a fool proof egg! Super easy to clean too. Very happy with my purchase! 5Neat Little ThingI m still getting used to this. So far, I have learned that it cooks an egg quickly, that you don t have the room to use a spatula and that you don t need that much heat. More to come. I plan to use it tonight.5I Love This Little Egg Pan~Easy to Use~Easy to Clean This littlle egg pan works perfect for me, as two eggs,2 sauage patties and an English Muffin fill me with all I care to eat. I can do 2 eggs over medium by putting a small bit of butter in the bottom~with Egg Face looking up at me~Then I turn the heat ~ on my gas range as low as I can get it~let the butter melt in the bottom, then pour in the egg. I keep the little plastic handle as far from the heat as I can. Early on when I read the reviews, several people complained that the plastic handles melted and the smell of burnt plastic was terrible~Simple Solution~I'm an old 82 year old engineer~So I kept the plastic handle away from the flame. The pan is so small that you can put only half the pan on the fire and it cooks just fine I use the stopwatch on my smart phone~cook for 1 minute and flip the pan~egg face now down for another minute and then my eggs are over medium~Just the way I like them. On an omlet, Again~little Egg looking at me~I melt the butter the same as with Eggs over medium, but I cook a bit of green Bell Peppers with a little ham, then I beat the 2 eggs, then pour the eggs over the ham & peppers that I have PreCooked a little..Then I add a bit of sharp cheddar cheese to the eggs. I will watch the egg and cheese a liittle, then I close the pan and flip.over~always keepiing the little handles away from the flame. I cook for about a minute on my stopwatch on this side~Then take the pan, flip back to egg face up and check to see what the omlet looks like~Since I'm an old 82 year old~As noted before and also a shaky old U. S. Army Veteran~I have a regular 11" Skillet right by the burner, so I can move the little pan about a foot when I flip the pan~I'd recommend doing that for Anyone~But for old shaky people~I've yet to make any type mess. I love this little egg pan and giving it 5 Stars was easy. Cleaning the pan is so easy~After using pan for close to 6 months now, I'm very Happy with it. 5This pan works fine for cooking one eggThis pan works fine for cooking one egg. It is a little bit smaller than I expected and it is definitely meant to cook no more than one egg at a time. It is a little difficult to scramble or flip the egg because the sides are too short and it spills over.4
