    Love this cover.I love this cover. I have two cover types, this one that has a loop around your neck and another that clips on. The clip on style frequently falls off, this style is much more secure. I love the option for me to reach my hand into the carrier from the pocket in front. I use my Ergo pocket to store stuff, and I can keep my hands warm when I reach in the pocket for my keys/phone. I've washed it a few times and it has held up well. We've used it for big trips to Kyoto and Tokyo and it has kept my son warm and protected from the chilly winds we get here in Japan during the winter. 5Terrific, and Even More So When I Discovered the Hidden HoodI bought this to use with my Beco Gemini carrier and am very pleased. It's wide and roomy and yet secures snuggly over my 7-month old. There are two layers--a water-repellant outer layer and a soft fleece inside layer--which I think will be perfect for our Brooklyn winter. Also it has a fully lined hood that tucks away into the cover when you don't need it. (I thought it was hoodless so this was a nice surprise!) Because I wanted an easy-on/easy-off elasticized cover that both my husband and I could use, I also tried out the Baby Bjorn cover. But it was definitely too narrow for the Beco/Ergo type carriers, and my baby's arms stuck out from the sides. The other thing that sold me on the Jolly Jumper cover is that it has two distinct layers (unlike the Bjorn) so I suspect it's going to be warmer.The only thing that could be improved is the strap that you wear around your neck. It's a basic nylon strap and, unless you're wearing a scarf of high-collared shirt, it tends to rub against the neck. The could have made the strap a bit more comfortable, but I might just sew some soft cotton padding on myself. In any case, a great purchase at a reasonable price. 5This thing is one of my favorite baby purchasesThis thing is one of my favorite baby purchases! It fits over our Chicco Keyfit 30 car seat really well. It's great for when it is cold and its great for when you just need to cover baby from the sun's glare. It is so much better than trying to wrangle a baby blanket over her car seat. The bottom has elastic that grips the car seat really nicely so it doesn't keep falling off. The strap can go over the hood if you need to cover the baby completely when she is sleeping or if its very cold out and you just need to transport baby from the door to the car. I sewed a piece of fabric over the nylon strap as it was a little rough on my skin when used as a carrier cover so now it is great for that as well. I don't need to bundle up baby before going out, I just throw this thing on both of us and were good to go! And it is easy to take off too when were back indoors so baby doesn't overheat. Cannot recommend enough! 5Absolutely love this carrier coverAbsolutely love this carrier cover. We had to wrap the neck strap with something softer so it wouldn't cut into my neck though. So far held up to Chicago fall weather. Will probably not hold up to Chicago winter so I usually put jacket or blanket on baby then use this as extra weather cover. Nice comfortable and loose fit for arms and legs that wander outside the carrier.For quick strolls or to get the mail, the pockets are great to hold stuff or keep warm - reversible so the pockets exist on both sides. It is water resistant so also good on light rainy days. The hood is loose though - which is more comfortable for baby, so need a hat to prevent wind from coming in the sides. 5Great product but could use some improvementI love the idea. It keeps my baby warm so she doesn t need a jacket and I can just take it off her when we step into an overheated building. However, like another reviewer mentioned, the strap around your neck is uncomfortable and the fleece isn t the best quality. When I washed it, it shed all over the black part and I have to constantly de-lint the black cover. Overall, I love the idea, the pockets are great too! But I just wish it was of superior quality! This does keep her warm in 40+ degree weather, maybe even too warm considering she is up against my body heat, so we will see how it does in 20-30 degree whether this winter! 4Ok for short trips in non-freezing tempsI do wish it was a bit warmer and the hoodie doesn't cover my baby's head very well. It won't take the place of dressing your baby for the weather. Doesn't block the wind, so you may want to opt for a stroller with wind cover if you know in advance it will be windy out. Otherwise, I like the pockets and that it's long. Okay for short walks or from car to store. Probably not for a freezing day 4One of our best baby purchasesWhen it got to be a chilly fall here, I struggled keeping our baby wrapped in blankets and doing something else, like say, carrying a cup of coffee. Blankets ended up on the ground, coffee got spilled. My heart was sad.Getting our baby ready for car trips, we had read not to have her snowsuit on her in the carrier, so we were constantly grabbing blankets and hats to keep her mummified enough as we dashed from house to car, then de-mummified her to get her into the seat, strapped in and then piled blankets on top of her.THEN I DISCOVERED THIS.We use this in conjunction with our Ergo for super awesome hands-free warmth. It has deluxe pockets - one set of standard pockets and tucked inside those, a slit for hands-on care of your baby. Really nice for readjustments and easy access for extra warmth for your hands!We also use this for the 15 second commute from house to car. No more rounding up blankets and wrapping her up. This cover keeps her plenty warm and then we pop it over her car seat.The elastic sides have plenty of room for growing limbs, but work just as well around our 6-month old. Really has been a helpful addition to our winter travels. No one told me about this kind of item and it made a huge difference for ease of traveling with the kiddo. 5Easy to use, decent protection from the wet and cold.We ordered this for outdoor touring in the drizzly late spring. It is appropriate for cool to cold weather if your baby is dressed in a sweater underneath, but I wouldn't use it in very cold weather without a coat on the baby, too. It keeps a sprinkling rain off of the baby well. Other reviewers complained about the neck strap. If you are dressed appropriately for the outdoors you should not feel the neck strap - at least, I did not. It was what I was most concerned about when ordering this item due to the multiple complaints but I did notice it at all, and I used it for two half days. The inside fabric is soft and cozy, of medium density: not like a gauzy blanket, but not like a heavy one, either. The outside material is also soft and is water resistant, but is not the slick, crinkly material of a rain jacket. I looked extensively through Amazon and other retailers to find items like this but for the money, I think this is the best option. I have a Tula baby carrier and it worked perfectly with it. It's very easy to put on which counts for a lot when it's nasty out and your baby is wiggling. Super useful item. 5It isn't the best choice.The description of the product doesn't show how this product works so allow me to inform you that it has a strap that goes around your neck. You can see it if you look very closely at the pictures of the people wearing it. It does not attach to the carrier itself like other products out there so back carries are out of the question. The product is good if you don't mind having a strap around your neck. The fleece lining and the outer nylon lining are of good quality so they work well at keeping the child warm and dry. I had a friend alter this product by cutting the strap, and making it into two loop straps with snaps to attach to my BabyHawk Oh Snap's straps (much like the Ergo cover). I found that this didn't workout as well as I had wanted it to so now I just use this product on my toddler's convertible carseat. It is a well-made product, but for serious babywearers with real baby carriers like Ergo, Boba, BabyHawk, Beco, etc. carriers, this product isn't your best choice. Look for the Kowali cover. Happy Babywearing! 3It is great for running to the store for this reasonThis thing is grate especially for a front facing carrier. I thought the strap that holds It up (by holding it around the back of the parents neck) would be award but I hardly notice it. I have a couple carrier covers but this is my go to carrier. Because all I have to do is slip it over our heads then tuck in my son's feet I can get this one on and off on about 30 sec. It is great for running to the store for this reason. I can throw it on to walk in and pull it off quickly once we are inside. I use this product with my ergo 360 carrier. 5
