    Cast iron wok Need guidance - everything I try to cook sticks to rough inside surface ---- help me love this pan 3Excellent product, chose this one over a few cheaper competitors. I use this on my grill and cook the protein on the side to get char then add it into the wok for stir fry or fried rice. The wood lid is great and the extra long handles make it easier to move. 5Rust Rules I have had my Kaisan work since September 2018. I was looking forward to having the Kaisan wok as a new addition to my cast iron family. However I am disappointed in that after I cook with it, the wok immediately starts to rust. I don't leave food in it long after cooking it because the food taste "rusty". I know about the care of cast iron. I don't use soap. I have tried canola oil, coconut oil, and peanut oil to no avail. I always end up with a rusted wok! It may become my next planter! Not a satisfied customer. 1Great Gift Idea Thus was a birthday gift for my son.
