A must for large dog ownersAbsolutely Love this rug. After about 4 rugs in the past year with 2 Labradors, this rug is perfect. It seems to be an industrial rug with being stylish also. I tried Sisals and the dogs chewed the backing. I tried a decorative rug, but showed dog hair. This is the most perfect rug for dogs with lots of hair and dog prints. 5Best I've used, saves wood floorI started with the smaller size version of this rug at my back door. I liked it so much I got the larger one for the front door. Before I started using this rug I would get water damage on my wood floor from the snow, etc (I had been using a oriental style area rug.) This rug has protected the wood floor and I love that it stays flat and the corners do not curl up as so many area rugs I have used do. The only problem I had with the larger size was the strong rubber smell when it first arrived, I had to put it on the porch to "air out" However it was worth it because it soaks up the water and lasts. 5Great rug for the Price!It's a great rug. Stays put, absorbs everything. Heavy duty. Wish they made them as very long runners, 2 or 3 ft wide and varying lengths. 5Stays in placeI really like this mat.... it was a lot heavier then expected & it definitely stays in place . The 4 x 6 is perfect for my double doors... I haven't vacuumed it yet so don't know how it cleans .... the grooves are deeper then I like for a regular vacuum . Think I will have to use the vacuum hose to get dirt. Hopefully we won't get a lot of dirt/mud :) 5Cleaned up my entryway finally!!!Whenever snow or rain season comes around, my entryway gets filled with temporary towels to soak up any water from shoes & boots. With this, that s all in the past. This soaks up any water and keeps my hardwood floors dry. It s big and beautiful! 5More Utility Than anything...I'll give 4 stars because of the price but with the fairly wide black rubber edge, it's more for a mud room,.garage, etc. It probably holds the 1.5 gallons of water because of it's size and the raised rubber border. The pile is low and very soft, great for bare feet but maybe not so great for mud and snow. But for the size, it would most likely not get the debris on your shoes/boots. For the price it covers a good size area at it's somewhat skid resistant though my dog can move anything and has moved this rug. Due to the small room I have it in, it has only been moved a foot otherwise it would be moved around. So, it's sort of non skid, sort of cleans summer crud and water off your shoes and sort of looks OK. Had I not gotten a good price or if I had planned to uae it in a nice place, it would have gotten 2 stars. Meh. 4Perfect RugAbsolutely Perfect ! I have bought several of these rugs for inside my house, and even placed one in front of my hot tub outside. These rugs are high quality and at a good price.
