Great item at a great pricePurchased this for my Grandson whom has become fascinated with the Beetles and I am going to send this to him.This music box is very a great item at a considerably lower price than anywhere else. The sound it plays is clear and very nice. I would recommend this for anyone who's into music box hope the video review helps everyone.5love love lovethis is the second music box that ive ordered. loooooove them. they play a surprisingly long section of the song and everyone knows right away exactly what song it is. place it in a box or bowl and the sound is amplified much more than you expect. my 5 year old plays with it all the time....while he is old enough to be careful, he is still 5 (lol) and it has held up nicely. a fun project we did together....we bought a wooden box and painted it together and simply glued the music box inside....lovely. would definitely recommend! everyone loves them!5Cute but very small.My granddaughter who just turned four but was three at the time that we purchases wanted to get her mommy and music box for Christmas.The first one she chose was way out of our price range.This was the Second one she looked at and decided that that was the one her mommy would like.She looked at several but went back to that one.It is nice but it is very very small.I was really surprised at how small it was in guess I did not read the details quite carefully enough. It is cute and was a good gift for a three-year-old to get for her mommy but I am a little unsure of how long it will last.The crank part seem to be kind of lose and it does not play for very long at all I don't know if that is just how it was made or if we just bought one that wasn't put together quite right but we literally have to wind it every 15 or 20 seconds. It is cute and I'm sure my daughter will have it for a long time since it was a gift from her daughter but I think it will be more of a knickknack then a music box because I don't think the c crank part will last too long with regular use But even if I had known about these flaws I am sure that it would not have mattered to my granddaughter because that was the one she decided on and it is hard to change a three-year-old's mind.4Stairway 2 heck yeah!Buy now! Love it.5Cute, damaged in shipping I bought this to add to my Kikkerland collection at work. The item was wrapped so tightly with bubble wrap that the cardboard ended up being bent. The top flap doesn't stay down either. I'm sure I can fix it with a little scotch tape.Otherwise, the product works fine. For the price, I really can't complain. It's very cute and will be a nice addition to my collection. I only wish it wasn't damaged. 3Not as robust as comparable older ones, but does the job.I bought this to replace one in a children's toy that was over thirty years old. For anyone looking to do something similar, it does have the same form factor, but some of the construction is visibly less robust. You can see a comparison in the photos, where my old one has a red handle and white plastic, the new one the black plastic. Since the old one gave out due to the crank screw eventually ripping up the teeth of the softer metal gear, I'm not optimistic about the lifespan of one with a plastic gear instead, and there is a definite difference in musical quality with the thinner tines. That said, I doubt I could've found a better replacement, it was fun to have so many options for songs, and my toddler loves it.3No instructions Unit came with no instructions, not sure if all parts were included, had to send back. Seemed kind of cheap. 1
