    Good armHad no problem installing. Quality is good. I needed a longer arm to extend my shower head out and down. This filled it's role.5Just a bit more length - perfect!Good quality plumbing piece. If you need a bit more length because of the shower fitting location or the type of head you use, this is a great choice.5Works perfect for my needsMy wife is not a tall woman... I used this 10" shower arm to bring the mixer of the shower head out further from the wall and down lower into the shower by about 2-3". The original arm was a 6" and pretty much had equal length on each side of the bend. For this 10" arm, I put the short end into the wall, which was equal to the length of the original. The longer side of the bend is now hanging lower into the shower so it is easier for her to reach. I think this is opposite of how it was intended to be used, but it is exactly what I needed it to do. I think it was meant to keep the same height in the shower, just moved further out from the wall. The trim ring that came with it is totally adequate, not bad not great. This arm has done just what I needed it to do and I would buy it again.5Basic standard shower armBasic standard shower arm.
