    Description

    • This unit contains a Class II Laser with 1mW output
    • Bright Red Visible lines and points. (1/16" horizontal accuracy at 16ft, 1/32" vertical accuracy at 10ft)
    • 180 horizontal & vertical lines, plus 4 laser points all calibrated to perfect 90 angles.
    • Self leveling pendulum lets you know your line is out of level by blinking in line mode or disabling the dot in point mode. Once level, the line goes solid or the dot appears.
    • Lock pendulum to set out angled lines and to protect laser level when you aren't using it.
    • Includes target plate, magnetic multi-function adapter, batteries, and carrying pouch..

    Bright Lazer.Awesome laser5Solidly built with great functionalityI am a general contractor. Since I hadn't used Leica before I was hesitant to spend $300+ on this laser - although I was familiar with their reputation for optics. I had used the Hilti PML 32-R and really liked it, but they don't seem to be made anymore. The Leica Lino L2P5 had similar features so I ordered it. Now that I have been using the Leica on the job for about a month I have nothing but good things to say about it. Because of the features, I would recommend the Leica over the Hilti anyday. The quality, design, and accuracy of this tool are excellent. The vertical laser is even mounted at such an angle that the tool projects the line above and behind itself. The stand/mounting base is also well designed and very useful.Normally I don't take the time to review products, but I saw that this one had yet to be reviewed, and in my opinion it deserves 5 stars. It easily saved its cost in labor on one job. I can't recommend it more highly.Update 4/2/2013 - I see that the other two people who reviewed the laser had less than favorable experiences. Now, almost a year and half later, I am still impressed with my "go to" laser. Still accurate and working well. I change the batteries infrequently - they last a long time unless you are using it constantly, but the cover has not broken as the one reviewer thought might happen. I often take it out of the box to find that whoever used it last didn't lock it and it's been bouncing around the truck. It is still working fine.5OkayEverything works fine, but I let it fall and one piece broke down.3Five Stars I would recommend to a friend Definitely job site tested 5I can't say enough good things about this laserI can't say enough good things about this laser. It has a thin line , which is great for accuracy, I can see this becoming a go to laser for layout. It shoots a very wide horizontal line. The fact you can set up the horizontal and vertical lines while using the five directional points is excellent for layout. But the best feature in many ways is the pendulum lock. I have owned many PLS lasers , none of them have that feature.I'm a finish carpenter and wish I'd found this years ago. Buy one!5Great laser level kitGreat laser level kit. For DIY beginners, do not try to adjust the unit to exactly what you're doing. It is a perfect level that is best matched to a vertical tape measure. I've used a number of PLS lasers over the years and they always seem to go out of level and plumb and sometimes you don't know it until you're well into a project that requires precision. I think the thing that will allow the Leica to survive is that there is a pendulum lock on the prism assembly that will protect it in storage and transit to the work. The one thing that I don't like is that I cannot figure out how to turn off the plumb beam and use just the horizontal. Most of my work is with the horizontal plane and I dislike having to continually dodge the plumb plane line.4
