    Sufficient and Working Well Works better than the original, which came years ago with the garage door opener. Somewhat difficult to program, following the instructions. I finally got one button programed, opposite of the instructions, to open and close the door. I left it at that, happy I could open my garage door with a remote. 5Works great! Works great! Replaced the old opener for my complex gate perfectly. Two buttons so it can be used to open two different gates. 5Perfect for multiple garage doors to operate/ I can open ... Easy to manually input the numbers and use right away 5Works as advertised I got this just so I could program my cars homelink system. Easy to set and does the job. 5Transmitter works just fine I use Delta transmitters both for my villa's garage and for the entrance gate to my condo, so I purchased this model to consolidate separate openers. I ordered one a year ago, but apparently it got too hot being left in the car parked outside and a waxy substance inside it melted and interfered with the operation of the buttons, which are lightweight plastic. I took it apart and scraped the wax from the buttons but it was not reliable after that and one button stuck. I bought this one to replace the one I purchased last year. If it were not for the problem of heat causing a problem I would have given it 5 stars. 4Cannot program automatically I'm sure this remote would work fine if I knew how to program the 16 switches in the thing to match the opener, but I do not. I bought a different linear remote which WAS automatically programmable using the 'learn' function on the opener and that was a much better purchase. 2And oldie but a goodie. Do you know how hard it is to find a clicker for such an old garage? Any older and I'd have to open it by hand before cranking up my car to go watch a "talkie." I'd say Linear is the best brand, but frankly it's the only brand I've ever used. Nothing fancy about this "visor transmitter" as it's called. Really? Visor Transmitter? What is this, Star Trek? It's a clicker! But where was I... oh yeah... nothing fancy here. But of course, if you wanted fancy you wouldn't have such an old garage opener, would you? 5Wasn't compatible with old Linear I had a remote by Linear that broke, ordered this as a replacement. I didn't see anywhere in the description that this only has 8 dip switches for each button - my old one had 10 for each, so this was not a replacement. They should include this in the specs. Can't speak for how well it works since I wasn't able to use it. 2Replacement As expected - good. 5an envelope sucks packing for this product must be improved. a box rather than an envelope is the way to go 3
