    Miracle Product for Moldy Tap Lines We used our kegerator one time, let it sit, and when we wanted to use it again, the lines were full of black mold. Distressed on how to clean the lines, we purchased this cleaning kit and hoped for the best. We flushed the line 3 times because the mold was that bad and the lines were like new again, it was amazing! 85% of the mold was flushed out with the first rinse. The second and third rinse removed the stubborn stuck on mold. This product made it very simple to tackle a big problem. 5This is the easiest Keg Cleaning Kit. This kit comes with everything you need except a 3 dollar 5 gallon bucket, even a tap wrench!. It also gives you enough cleaning solution for tens of uses. You mix up about 1/2 gallon of cleaning solution, (1 tsp of power and warm water) fill the bottle, unscrew your tap, then screw on the hose, and connect the bottle, insert the ball lifter in your kegconnector, place the connector in the bucket, then turn the bottle upside down. Mine went through so fast that I could stand there and hold the bottle without a problem, but it will depend on the length of your beer lines(squeeze just a tad to start the flow). The bottle will compress as the water drains because there is no way to equalize the pressure, so I had to disconnect to half way through to pop the bottle back in shape. Besides that it worked flawlessly. Be sure to run clean water through once your cleaning solution has finished draining.Notes: I did not dissemble my tap, OR my keg connector, I ran hot water through the open tap, and used the provided brush with some left over cleaning solution, and i let the keg connector soak (submerged) in the solution for 30 mins.After reconnecting, My new keg tasted noticeably better then when I first tapped my previous one. I would definitely recommend this. (I have a Danby Kegerator,) 4Worked Great! Worked Great. The kit comes with everything you need to disassemble and clean your beer lines, faucet and tap. There is no need to squeeze the bottle during the cleaning process as it is designed to work through gravity. If you squeeze the bottle it will cause some of the issues other reviewers have listed.The directions are easy to follow and there is also a YouTube video to help you out also if you have any concerns. [...]One thing to note my kit was missing the ball lifter but after a quick email was sent to Keg Connection they had it sent out to me right away. I have to an A+ for their customer service in Keg Connection amazon department. 5Does the job well, expect some mess The cleaning kit performed admirably and cleaned the lines and faucet well by following the simple instructions. I would have given 5 stars except that there was a fair amount of water/cleaning mixture mess which occurs when the cleaning bottle is raised up and lowered during the process. I had the connections of the tube to the bottle and tube to faucet snug but water / mixture still leaks out. Not a deal breaker but something to be prepared for. Also, don't over tighten the tube to faucet connection since it will be very difficult to unscrew it after you are done, as I discovered. 4LEAVE OUT CLEANER I thought this product was a good price compared to other products. I now know the reason why it is cheaper, they leave out the cleaning product that they state is included when buying this item. Please hed my warning and DON'T BUY THE CHEAPER VERSION. The company will leave out the cleaner, so now I have to spend more money to buy the cleaner separate. Even if I am the first customer to be stiffed, please be ready to be disappointed. Everything else looks good though. 1Just ok. Just three stars as this product is just ok. I felt like it was kind of a hassle to do all of this with these items. And I don t feel like it gave my lines quite the cleaning as advertised. I would pay more for a better product before returning to this one. 3Not high quality This kit is good for 1, maybe 2 keg cleaning before the cheap plastic tube that connects to the tap breaks. Even before it breaks it is really difficult to tighten properly so that you don't make a mess cleaning your keg lines. 2Disappointed Unfortunately I have had a very poor experiance with this kit.First thing, the listing says: "8 oz of Brew Clean line cleaner (enough to do about 20 cleanings)". However, after reading the included instructions I do not know how this can be true. The instructions call for using 1oz per cleaning. That would lead me to believe that it is only enough for 8 cleanings. Hopefully this is simply a case of the listing being out of date, but I am definitely aggravated by the discrepency.Next, the plastic fitting did not properly seat with the tower shank for the Perlick 525 Faucets that I have, which caused me to loose a lot of the cleaning water out the holes for the wrench.Finally, the ball lifter was extremely hard to remove from the Kegco KC KTS97D-W D System Keg Tap. I'm pretty sure I did not break it, but if anyone else has this tap, please be forewarned.I was really hoping for a better value from KegConnection. If you know you have compatible parts, I am sure this kit will work for you. But if you have the parts I have listed above, please be wary as your experience might be similar to mine. 1Garbage This product is junk! The plastic bottle that you need to squeeze does not go back to normal after you squeeze all the cleaning solution. This product is garbage and way way overpriced! Now I have to purchase a different kegerator cleaning system. 1Good direction I ve use this a couple of times. The directions are good but I also watched a YouTube video and that was extra helpful. Have cleaned the lines out a couple of times and still have some material left. 5
