Customer Reviews

Rubbed a patch of skin raw on my son!My husband and I took this out for the first time for a short 30 minute walk around the neighborhood with my 2 1/2 month old son. Upon coming home and removing him from the carrier we noticed a small patch of skin on his leg that had been rubbed raw! Imagine if we had taken this out for a longer period of time, how worse it could have been! The cause was from a rough seam where the two halves of the inside of carrier meet and are sewn together towards the bottom of the carrier. I wrote to the manufacturer and they said they will forward my problem to their customer manager but I haven't heard anything from them since. All in all, the carrier was a bit clunky with lots of dangling straps. We would have just dealt with that but this was the final straw.1Almost great - bought SeatMe insteadThere are a lot of great things about this carrier. My favorites being:- comfortable to wear- straps can be crisscrossed- multiple positions- pretty designs- pockets- mesh for hotter weatherUltimately I returned the item and ended up with the SeatMe instead for these reasons:- really hard to switch from inward to outward facing. Super easy in the SeatMe- even the cool mesh felt hot in the middle of summer. There is less material on the SeatMe.- although people rave about the lumbar support I found the extra piece awkward especially when trying to switch from inward to outward. I prefer the thick waistband with Velcro and the buckle of the SeatMe even though I know some people hate velcro.- the pocket was practically inaccessible in the outward facing position. If your baby prefers to face in, this carrier may best for you. Otherwise I d also experiment with others!Hope that helps!4Bulky straps, inward pockets not comfortable for baby.I ended up returning this for two main reasons. 1) The straps are incredibly bulky. They felt bulky over my shoulders, and the padded part is long enough that it curled under my arms, so when I tried to put my arms down at my side, the padding was jammed in there. My husband also thought this felt rather bulky. 2) This is the biggest thing: the pockets fill inward, making it super uncomfortable for baby. When I felt the inside of the carrier with my hands, I could feel all the bumpy parts from the hood, and the buckles also jab in towards baby when the hood is folded down and in the pocket. Stuff a balled up blanket behind your back and try and sit in a char all day and see how it feels. The waist buckle is also in a weird place that made it difficult for me to buckle myself. I was really surprised as I had seen this carrier listed highly on many review sites - I'm not sure how everyone is missing the discomfort to baby from the pocket. For comparison, the Infantino Carry On Multi-Pocket Carrier has a "stretch forward" design for their pockets, so anything in the pockets isn't pushing up against baby. You can tell the difference just by feeling with your hand along the portion of the carrier that would be next to baby's back (or front if front facing). Overall I was incredibly disappointed with this product.1confortable for you but not for babyBased on the reviews I thought I was doing an informed and accurate purchase. First of all, It is correct saying this thing is confortable of wearing, the padding its thick and you can adapt it to your size. But, what is the case of having a Baby carrier that it is not confortable for the Baby? this is a BIG DOWN SIDE, even when it has this "adjustable" seat (which I think it is a mockery) with only two positions (narrow and wide) it is a plain weird folding that is "kept in place" with one metal button that just don't work. Baby is screaming all the time, because of the stiff fabric with not padding for baby's legs and also spreads his legs way too wide and awkward. Honestly for this price, I should have bought another one :(. New costumers, take this into account when you decide to purchase this.1I liked the *idea* of this carrier more than the actual carrier itself.I liked the idea of this carrier more than the actual carrier itself.I had an Ergo baby carrier (that I absolutely LOVED) which I got rid of in favor of the Lillebaby because I liked the idea of being able to carry the baby front-facing, narrowing the seat so younger infants could sit comfortably in it without an insert, the lumbar support, and the zip down mesh back so there was more airflow, but still maintaining the form that I loved so much about my Ergo carrier. Basically, I liked the idea of a carrier very similar to the Ergo in structure but with more options than the Ergo offered. When I received the carrier, I liked it a lot. It was exactly what I thought it would be- very similar to the ergo in form (comfortable!) but with more options...and then we used it on a few hikes in Colorado carrying my 18 month old daughter.I'm not sure if it was just a defect in my carrier or if it's the way that all the carriers are constructed, but the area on the corners of the seat where the thighs fall was stitched in such a way that there was a very sharp corner. Despite the fact that she was wearing pants, my daughter screamed for most of the hike before we realized that the carrier was jabbing into her legs and were able to stuff a jacket under her legs for padding. In addition, the neck support piece that is supposed to snap down when it's not in use kept unsnapping and flipping up/flopping around. If it were not for the carrier jabbing into my daughters legs, I would have kept the carrier because, again, I liked the idea of it. But when you simply can't carry your child in the carrier because it's hurting them... well, then it's pointless.Additionally, the customer service at Lillebaby is lacking. Over a period of 3-4 months, I emailed them about 2 separate issues (one was just a question about registering the carrier) and never received a reply in either case. Very disappointing.2Gorgeous and comfortable! They thought of everythingWe are a big baby wearing family and have owner many carriers including:-ergo original-ergo 360-standard Tula-Tula free to grow-toddler kinderpackThe carrier itself is a bit bulkier than other carriers I have owned, but very very comfortable. The lumbar support allowsMe to comfortable carry my 29lbs toddler in a front carry position, which is incredible! There is padding under all of the buckles to make it comfortable for the wearer. I think it s probably the most comfortable soft structured carrier we have owned. It did seem a bit awkward for our toddler out of the box, but once we got the hang of it my husband and I both were very impressed. We are excited to use it for our newborn in a few months! I love the head support for smaller babies and I love that no bulky insert is required. My small criticisms:-not very much leg padding for the child s comfort. Standard Tula seems a bit comfier for baby, but overall my son is very content in it-no hip support for forward facing position. I m not crazy about forward facing position for baby anyways so it doesn t effect me much, but if you do want to use this position a lot, you might consider something with more hip support like the Tula explore or ergo 360 for healthy ergonomic hip development.5Has potential, but expectations not metI originally owned a Bjorn without the waist support which worked well until the baby was about 17 lbs, then it was too much for my shoulders. I was highly encouraged to purchase this item by a fellow mom. She was accurate in saying there is a lot of padding and the straps are all nice and wide. Unfortunately the design isn't quite what I had hoped. To get the baby in/out you have to remove the arm straps which is extra cumbersome due to a latch between your shoulders (this would be a GREAT thing if you didn't have to take the shoulder supports off). The front is supposed to zip down for extra air flow, but the strap meant to hold it in a rolled position isn't tight enough so it falls out. The waist strap is padded well, but the length of the strap requires that you roll it. But again the securing item doesn't hold it firmly resulting in a side tail. The solar protection for the head doesn't have a hiding spot when not in use. The portion that is meant to be used as head support when rear facing folds down for forward facing, but the snaps are weak and come unbuttoned easily. Even in the "narrow hip" shape the width is too much for our 8 month old.1Ypu know your an adult when you are excited over a baby carrierI love this carrier! I live in Florida and walk daily so I needed something that my infant wouldn't over heat in and was good for my lower back. When I first put the carrier on and had her in it, her weight was evenly distributed and I could not feel any strain in my lower back! My baby girl didn't get hot while we were out and the hood was easy to put up while walking so the sun wasn't beating on her. I am not one to write reviews, but I am so happy with this purchase that I had to share my excitement I highly recommend this carrier!5So far ..... it s awesome! This is the first carrier I ve ever bought. I ve been given a moby as a gift, hated it because I don t want to have to learn to use a carrier. I want to grab it and go. I was given a hand me down ergo when my son was little but only used it a couple of times. When my daughter was born a friend lent me her ergo with infant insert and I used it a couple of times. I wore my daughter through the grocery store when she was less than 3mo old and by the time I was done, about an hour, my hips were killing me! I needed a carrier that was outward facing because my daughter is now 7mo and I m about to take a plane trip with my 2 kids and I need to wear her through the airport. After lots of research I decided on the Lillebaby 360 for the lumbar support and the fact that there were tons of bad reviews on the ergo 360 about the waist strap being Velcro. I used my lillebaby last night at a friends party. My daughter was in it for a couple of hours and was completely happy. She never cried or acted like it hurt her. My back and hips were also not in pain. The lumbar support was absolutely amazing! I have no fear of wearing my daughter through the airport or anywhere else. I have a feeling I will be wearing her more and more and am a little mad at myself for waiting so long to buy this!5Look no further- this carrier is it!This is the best carrier ever!! This was the 4th carrier I have tried ( Bjorn, Infantino, Ergo) and finally- one that is perfect!! Someone posted this in a facebook group I am in and I bought one the next day. It is seriously the best designed, most functional carrier I have seen. Here are my favorites about it:1. It is complete and no extra parts like an uncomfortable insert are needed like with the Ergo.2. 6 different positions is amazing- from baby to big is wonderful. The Original Ergo doesn't allow for forward facing- this does and is great. The infantino does, but is horrible on comfort.3. It is breathable- and the option to make it more breathable with the front panel unzipped is great. I live in Georgia so humidity and heat were a big concern. This is not a sweat box like the ergo.4. The lumbar pad is such a great added piece- it truly helped my back from my messed up epidural. Not any other carrier I went through had this nice padded piece. It really absorbs the weight. I really think all of the padding is much better than any of the others I have tried. It is truly comfortable to wear.5. The re-positional seat is great to adjust for baby- no other carrier I had does this.6. It is incredibly easy to put on. In just a few clicks I can have baby in and be ready to go- facing in or out are both comfortable.7. It is very user friendly for first time moms. I like that I can wear it back pack straps or regular, how I can easily adjust the baby from front to inward facing while wearing baby, and it is really comfortable. My baby loves this carrier! He falls asleep in it all the time.8. This carrier is lightweight and gets the job done.9. The colors are great and not overbearing10. The hood is Great! Love to use it to keep baby asleep11. 6 positions- including newborn- comfortable for mom/or dad and baby, stylish- and designed with the wearer in mind- completely and perfectly worth every penny! The only con I would say is that it advertises that you can breastfeed in it- but this complete seasons doesn't have much/any side boob coverage. I dont mind that because everything else- as far as comfort and versatility trump that minor detail. Trust me when I say- buy this carrier and not any other. You will not be disappointed.5
