    Better than expected! Much better than I expected! I needed a nightstand to go with my dark cherry bedroom set. The tone is a great match and less red than the picture shows. Also doesn't look too cheap. Only complaint--the drawers are quite small relative to the size of the nightstand. If you want a place for a few nighttime necessities its perfect, but don't plan on using it for serious storage. The top of the nightstand does have a lot of surface area though so a basket can help. 4Great deal. Looks beautiful. I love,love this nightstand! It's not too red or orange just a beautiful deep cherry. I'm certain they would have charged me double for it at my local furniture store. It came in 5 days wrapped tight. The drawer issue.....they come out 75% of the way which I think is pretty standard for drawers. I don't get the problem with the other reveiws unless I just lucked out. I wish I had a bigger bedroom so I could buy another one. I'm picky and I love this nightstand. 5Looks like a million bucks! I had read 1 or 2 critical reviews of this product before I purchased (mostly they say that the drawers only open about half-way) and I decided that wasn't very important to me. I ordered 2 of these and am very pleased. the product is well made and a terrific value. If I had bought it PRIMARILY for storage, maybe I would have been displeased that the drawers can't be pulled "all the way forward". But I bought primarily for APPEARANCE, with storage being a secondary concern. If you want to put really big things in there, or if you want to use this as a file box for your CD or DVD collection, you won't be too happy (because you can't see "straight down" into the back 50% of the drawer). But at these prices, I m not complaining. I certainly got my money's worth... and then some! 5much, much more red than it shows in the picture I was trying to match this one with an end table that I had already purchased a while ago, this came as close as any of them... its not quite as thick and its much, much more red than it shows in the picture, but the only way you can tell it doesn't match is if they're placed side by side.. 4I'm Happy! So I have a night stand very similar to this one but needed a closely matching one for my side of the bed. It arrived on time and with no markings or issues. It was wrapped so good , it seemed like it took me forever to take all the packaging off but it prevented any damages. The handles were easy to put in too. Only drawback is it's smaller in size and in drawer size than I thought and wanted but it still looks great! 4DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY I ordered two of these thinking they would be great in my master bedroom. First of all the packaging was very difficult to open. When I finally did get them opened,both of the nightstands were damaged and on one the back of the nightstand was screwed on but whoever did the job, did not even come close to hitting both the backing and the back of nightstand. I have to fix this or the back will fall off! I am extremely disappointed with this purchase and I'm sure it'll cost me a fortune to send them back. No way to save the packaging once you open it up. The corner of one of the nightstands looked like something chewed through it. definitely cheap particle board items. Learned my lesson, will only purchase furniture in a furniture store. I even tried to use some furniture stain to fix areas but areas just fell apart. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM! For almost 275 dollars I thought they would be at least usable. will be calling the company direct, I'm sure to no avail! 1The item is beautiful however the front two coeners on the top are ... There is not way I can repackage the item to return it, so I shall just live with it 3Damaged item I was so looking forward to getting this piece and planned on it being the first of an entire bedroom set. It arrived in 2 days, but upon receipt, while the outside box was undamaged, the box inside was badly damaged and had been burst open across one side and the seam on top appeared to have been opened and retaped before. The end table had one corner on the side that looked burst open that was badly damaged. Due to so many same reports on here, I want my money back. I'm afraid to order again. What a shame. I have a similar item purchased from a store and was the same price and slightly bigger. So I assumed that this was same as that. But what I have is solid hardwood. This is not hardwood, the bottom was peeled off, the wood was wet when it arrived and the drawers didnt fit properly. It looked so flimsy even in my child's room. If you are looking for something durable and classy this is not it. 1Quite a bargain - look great! Looks exactly like picture. Same quality as a Rooms to Go, better than IKEA, and at the same or less cost with no assembly. Drawers slide beautifully and light enough for me to move easily. No sharp particle board edges. Hardware is quite nice. Arrived in PERFECT shape (2 of them.) 5
