Loose threads but great towels These towels are soft and absorbent, but each towel has about 20-30 loose threads hanging out of the middle of the towel that need to be trimmed. It makes them look a little ratty even when they are brand new.If you don't care much about the appearance or you're willing to spend a few minutes clipping towel threads after each wash, they are great. 4Don t get ripped off by Chakir suppliers. I bought both Chakir bath towels, hand towels, and wash cloths at the same time. I would rate the Chakir towels at 5 stars.As my picture shows, my wash cloths are not Chakir wash cloths. My wash cloths came in a Chakir plastic bag, but they were made in Bangladesh not Turkey, they are super-thin, and the wash cloth design and color are different from the bath towels. I would rate the wash cloths at 0. From Jocelyn Taylor s March 2016 comments it is clear that this attempted rip off by Chakir suppliers is an ongoing problem.I am returning the wash cloths. 5Nice regular size towels Nice regular size towels. Not thin but not over the top fluffy. Very absorbent. Will buy more as needed.Regarding the name "Luxury Hotel & Spa Towel" I can't say that they really meet that expectation but that isn't what I wanted. My wife hates the monster towels that weight 20 lbs. These seem just right. 5Great towels for the price! These are good regular sized towels for the price - hence the 5 stars. I've already washed them once - yes much material in lint trap, but can't imagine this not happening with brand new towels. They currently still have their fluffiness, but we'll see after a few months. So far I am pleased with them.Update 5/2017: Over a year later and these towels still look great and have some "plush" to them. They are used regularly, so nice to see they are doing so well with constant use. 5I wanted spa quality towels, and that is exactly what I got! I have washed them several times now and no lint comes off of them in the dryer, the color has remained vibrant, and they are just as plush as the towels I purchased at Macy's for twice the price. It looks like at least one of the four I received will unravel. 4This big bath sheet totally met and exceeded my 'over-sized towel' needs and expectations. My husband has a couple of bath towels that he is stubbornly fond of, primarily because they're (slightly) the biggest towels we own, at 30" x 54". He has straight up rejected other towels because they're just not big enough. Well, fine, I reserve HIS towels for him ... but then one day he looked at the fraying edges and lamented, "What will I do when these really start to go? ... I need big towels!"Fortuitously, New York magazine then ran a January 2017 "Strategist" article on the 10 best-reviewed towels ... including a category for over-sized towels! So then down the Amazon rabbit hole I went, ultimately rejecting NYmag's best over-sized pick, and then discovering the bath sheet. The bath sheet! Basically, a towel ... but bigger! Awesome-sauce. The price was right; the reviews were reassuring; I picked 'cranberry' so it would be an energizing jolt in the morning. Then I washed it and held my breath. No color seepage! Then my husband used it and looked befuddled by how big it was. The extra square footage is- well, it's a lot, especially if you're used to a regular bath towel. Ain't no way that towel gonna fall off. And yet- this matters to me, since I do the laundry (he cooks!)- when sopping wet from the washing machine, it's not too heavy to manage. I was worried about that, because I have a bum wrist, and I wasn't really looking forward to wrangling a giant wet towel on a regular basis. But, you know, not a problem. Also, I've washed it twice thus far, and no problems with quality yet. Let's see how it holds up after several months; I'll try to come back and post an update. - AM SIL 4I did a quick google and say the beautiful, but grossly expensive ones from premium companies I just renovated my bathroom, and noticed that all my towels have pulls, stains or are shrunk on the edges. I found these after extensively reading reviews and then keeping my fingers crossed. Viola! They were exactly as I hoped. The sheets are enormous and soft! The Wedgwood Blue couldn't be more beautiful! I washed them separately at first and dried on low (boy! that takes a long time!). The result is worth it. I know my old towels are in such poor shape because I would wash them with things with zippers and dried them on high. Also, my daughter is using face products that discolor the towels. Now that I am more educated, and have quality products, I hope these will last a good long while. In the meantime they will look lovely on the shelf in the bathroom. The blotches are brownish in color and more appear every time they're washed (I bought 2). The size is nice and they dry okay, but I'm now looking for more bath sheets in a similar color, so that I can retire these to the rag bin. 1
