    Quality is not worth the priceIt fell from the wall one time, and the corner split open. The frame is now unusable, since the broken corner won't cleanly piece back together. I get that it's a "bargain" frame, but I've owned and dropped cheaper frames than this and been able to salvage them. My fully plastic frames are sturdier than this with enough tape. Even the swivel screws (to hold the backer) barely stay in place. It also lacks a reliable, central hook on the back to hang it. Why does a lightweight frame need two small corner hooks? Am I supposed to suspend such a lightweight frame with a wire? It's strange.It looks nice if you need something in a pinch, but it's not worth the price. You can definitely find something sturdier. Pretty bummed I have to buy a replacement frame, since this looked pretty nice on my wall for 5 minutes. I was already annoyed at having to meticulously clean it, since its packaging shipped with nothing to keep it free of dust during shipping.1SolidI received these on time. They are solid, and the colours match. I ordered 4 of these. One of the four is damaged (a discolouration on one of the sides). I chose not to return, as I am really trying to get the house staged for moving.Minus one star for the discoloured item. It didn't warrant, however, a return.4Beautiful and professional-lookingThese frames are utterly magical; they'll transform any 5x7 photos into a work of art. My photos were honestly not that exciting, but putting them behind these mats just makes them look fabulous and very professional. These are pricy, but they're a fitting quality for the money and I'm now addicted to putting all my photos from a recent Ireland trip into these frames.5Crap!!!!!!!!! When I got frame in the mail the sides were all sticky and the paint was melted off and all 4 corners have the paint worn off. Not impressed will not be buying again.the last picture shows what it should look like everywhere. 1packaged with wet paint Nice frame and mat. We ordered 14 and almost every frame had been packaged before the black paint was fully dried, so the outer edges of each frame had to be scrubbed to remove the cardboard stuck (by wet paint) to the frame. Nice looking but cheaply made. 3Worth the price, they are lovely I purchased four of this great matted frames to put my kids high school graduation pictures in.. I had to wait awhile for them all to graduate but finally over a span of ten years I now have each of them in one of those beautiful frames side by side - all the photos are in black and white. These frames might look good with color photos as well, but they definitely look great with black and white!I recommend them very highly. Oh and they came wrapped really well too.... I think UPS could have thrown them over our fence and they still wouldn't have broke : ) 5The frame is attractive and look very nice mounted in my office with family photosA well made product. The product came packaged well protected inside a box with the frame in a bubble wrap sleeeve. The frame is attractive and look very nice mounted in my office with family photos. The wood frame appears well made and sturdy, and has glass as opposed to plastic or plexi-glass. It has a sturdy backing with three metal retainers on each side that rotate into a channel on the insde of the frame to hold the backing in place. The frame can be hung from a wall in either portrait or landscape direction from triangular shaped "eyelets" mounted near the corners of the backing. The mat is not frame shop quality, but it is not junk either. The mat is well cut but just thinner (about half as thick) as frame shop quality mat board. However considering the overall quality of the frame for the price, I feel a 5 star rating is appropriate (balancing cost vs. quality).5Perfect collage for 9 4x6 images!All the other collages I found on Amazon were a mix of horizontal and vertical image slots, but I just wanted horizontal. The frame arrived in perfect condition. I don't know why the title of this product says it is for 4x7 inch photos, because it is definitely for 4x6 inch ones. Sure, they openings in the mat are slightly smaller than 4x6, but that is how a mat is supposed to work. It is better to have a little cropped off the image than to see the edge of the picture when it isn't aligned perfectly with the mat. I didn't even have to tape the photos to the mat; the backing of the frame was thick enough and had a layer of padding so that all I had to do was set the pictures upside down on the mat, close the backing, and everything looked great. The only thing you have to provide are the 9 photos (unless you want to use the sample page of pictures) and one strand of picture hanging wire. There are not hangers in the center, only on three corners, allowing you to attach picture wire to hang it either vertically or horizontally.5Great frameI ordered this for my grandmother who spent an entire day driving to different stores looking for a picture frame with 9 horizontal picture slots and she couldn't find one. I looked on Amazon and found this one in under 5 minutes. The frame looked great with the exception of one minor chip but the frame is solid black all the way through so you couldn't even really see the chip.**I received this product at a discount in exchange for my unbiased review.5nice quality, one QC flawI bought three of these to frame gift photos. One had a scratch in the glass, which turned out to be over the mat area, so I used it anyway. Finish quality is smooth, miters are flush and smooth with no break in the finish. Frame has loops for mounting horizontal or vertical, but no cable is provided to do so. Mat is very light grey with slight parallel striping groves, which you can see up close.4The mat is stupendously badFrame is OK. Looks good for the money.The glass was dirty on both sides (oily/mineral looking stains) and required cleaning.The mat... well: (1) it doesn't match the item photo, (2) it has cheap, tacky looking silver pinstripes, and (3) the stripes are not even parallel with the photo cutout (not diagonal, just off enough to be awful).If I can find another frame before Christmas I'll be returning this crap. Will be buying many more in the future!5Not worth the moneyThis item was cheaply made. The back was difficult to remove, as the bendable brackets were put in at odd angles and depths. A butter knife did the trick! the back was also very difficult to maneuver back into the frame.The matting inside had a lined, grooved design. The detail was nice, but mine had not been precisely cut and instead of vertical lines, there was on an odd, slightly diagonal direction. It was not noticable from far away, but it did reinforce the cheapness of this product. You definitely get what you pay for with this frame.2Not as expected, damage to the frame, fine for the price but not great I bought two frames. Both had scuff marks on the edges, but I had already taped in my photos by the time I noticed, and decided I could paint over them if I needed to, but it was really irritating that the marks were on BOTH. The mat is slightly smaller than an 8X10 photo, which is not really what I expected, but perhaps I should have known better.The frame is really meant for standing on a table, not hanging as I had wanted to do, as the placement of the hanging hooks are such that you'd need nails sticking WAY out of the wall to successfully mount them. I will probably buy supplemental hardware. There is a stand/leg off the back for setting the frame on a table, but it is weak and poorly structured, and the frames tend to fall over.Fine for the price, but would not buy again.For the price, it's okay, but I will probably not buy again. 3This item was received with white marks showing on frame ... This item was received with white marks showing on frame. Apparently this is white plastic painted black. I used a sharpie to cover the white marks but feel for the price that is not acceptable.Don't give as a gift because if you are not opening it yourself you will not be able to fix the scratches. 1Elegant and simple, showed off my wedding photos well This frame is so elegant and simple, I purchased 4 of these and filled them with a photo of my wedding as Christmas gifts for my family and they looked fantastic. Some reviewers commented on receiving damaged product in the mail, that was not so with my shipment. They packaged them really well with thick bubble wrap and nothing was broken at all. My one qualm is some of the stain on a few of the frames was a little light and/or missing/rubbed off, but that was an easy fix with some wood stain that I happened to have at the house that matched and it was so minimal- I was just being a perfectionist about it. 4
