Very Economical Beautiful Frames I used these to frame some 8 X 10 inch watercolor princesses and superheroes 8 X 10 poster art which I ordered to give as gifts. They are economical, very nice looking picture frames. The only concern I have is as it is very easy to slip the photo or picture art into the frame, I hope the kids I am giving them to will not accidentally slip the glass front from the frame. It is a simple front loading frame by popping out the glass from the corners by slight pressure by both hands on each corner. My hope is that they hang the framed art before this is even a possibility. 5Wonderful & Inexpensive Frames - Perfect for DIYs! I used all 12 the minute they arrived. I had 11 8x10 canvases I had painted ready to be hung up. This comes in two boxes of 6 each. The boxes are marked fragile for the piece of glass that comes with each frame. The frame itself is plastic, there is a cardboard inside and a pane of glass lies on it. The frame is opened by pushing the glass out though the front as the plastic frame is flexible. It's fairly simple to use, but not like most frames where you reach though the back and never really touch the glass. The frame isn't too deep, so if you out canvas in there, it's better to not place the glass back, that resulted in the tight fit of the glass cutting my finger.I purchased these for inexpensive wall art. I also had a lot of scrap cloth around, so I wrapped a chevron pattered blue and white cloth around the cardboard and placed it back into the frame with the glass on top. This looks wonderful! I will be buying more of these frames in various sizes for other rooms in the house. I had a three piece 8x10 paintings I had done, with lots of pinks and whites, and the black frame just wasn't going, so I spray painted the frame a rich gold and viola, a perfect frame! Spray painting the frames for a unique and elegant look is a brilliant DIY to really make these smart frames work anywhere. These frame look great with canvas, giving it an almost stretched canvas look.Each frame comes with a little easel in the back that can be easily attached for a standing frame. They can be hung horizontally or vertically, and the hole is good for both conventional picture hooks and escutcheon pin. I even ran out of hanging hardware for the last three and used simple screws, as the frames are very light, they are standing up just fine (the pink set). Parental presence is required if you let your kids handle these, the glass is well-cut & super sharp!If you are looking into buying frames for slightly more expensive artwork, or need more ornate frames, these probably won't work, they are super simple with barely any frame in the front. They are for inexpensive wall art if your are creating a simple gallery wall or for art work that you simply need a way to hang, don't expect the frame to be the center of attention, it won't look as pretty as a wooden frame or even Ikea's RIBBA. Overall, for my purposes I am super happy with the quality, quantity & price of these and will definitely be buying them again. 4Perfect, if you're looking for "Good Enough" I had a ton of school 8x10 photos of my kids that were just sitting in envelops and finally decided to do something with them. But buying 20-30 frames is crazy expensive even if you get them at Ikea.I was really happy to find these frames and took a chance ordering 24 of them. They were exactly what I wanted.The quality is OK for what they are especially if the photo itself is really what you're interested in. I've had some nice frames made with beautiful materials and a nice cut matt but this is the other end of that spectrum. When you just need a basic way to hang the picture.Once I got the hang of how these frames worked it took only seconds to swap out the sample image the photo and snap it back together. Each frame has a mounting hole to hold it vertically or horizontally as well as a snap off table leg that you can use if you want to use it as a tabletop frame.I ended up using all the frames that I purchased and will order another 24 soon. I'm thinking of getting some 5x7 versions as well.I'm very happy with this purchase. When you consider the price you really can't go wrong. 4Great Deal! I bought the 12 pack, and for the price, these frames exceeded my expectations. These actually have real glass, which I think looks better than plexiglass or plastic used in other low cost frames. I would order these again! 5Definitely worth it. I bought these to make a gallery wall and they're perfect. Easy to get the photos in and out and despite how inexpensive they are the front is glass not acrylic. I hang all my things with 3M picture hanging strips so I can't attest to how else to hang them, but 10/10 would purchase again. 5Great frames, with a caveat Great frames for the price, with one caveat. Nice design, displays full image (i.e., is full 8x10, not 7.5x9.5 as in most other frames). Note, however, that the glass has a very very slight grey tint; this tint is probably not noticed by most customers, but if you're a photographer who has spent a lot of time getting the print's color, brightness, etc., just right, you may notice that the tint, and the glass's reflection, cause your print to look slight dull and a wee bit grey. 4Easy to use frame makes your photo the star I loved these picture frames so much I reordered these in both the 8x10 and the 5x7 sizes.These picture frames were perfect for adding a wall of uniform looking pictures. I wanted a full wall of a "through the years" theme displaying all my kids' school pictures. These were perfect for display, making the picture the star and not the frame. After reading others' reviews I was a little concerned that the frames would be chipped or damaged in some way but I have used all of them and all were in perfect condition.Each frame comes wrapped in it's own protective plastic and can be used for wall hanging or setting on a shelf. They are front loading and easy to pop out, place your picture in and then pop back in. The way to attach the tab for the stand uses the same hole that you would use to hang on the wall so the top of the frame would then be the bottom if moving from wall to shelf. It's very easy to just pop out the photo and put back in, but it still would be nice to change your display decision without taking your photos out. 5Wouldn't buy again Reading the reviews I knew what I was getting and I wouldnt buy them again. The glass was cracked and even broken in some places. The plastic is fine and hangs just right but as with most reviews, you buy cheap you get cheap because most of the glass on most of the frames were broken. Also, not a true 8x10 fit so our photos were scrunched a bit. But for what we were framing we're not too upset. Just wouldn't use them for family photos or anything important. 3Definitely more than I expected Bought these to frame some prints for a friend's baby shower, I was actually quite amazed at the quality of these. They were definitely more than I expected. The frames are plastic but a decent quality build and the window is actual glass. The glass is clean cut with smooth edge glass, you don't have to be scared of potentially cutting yourself (I've bought some not so good frames with glass that's got some sharp edges). Super easy to use (they even have a video demo), the glass popped out without any difficulty and sits very snug once it's back in its frame. They also have this simple, elegance to them -- thin black trim, clean finish, great value! 5A nice, simple, and easy to use frame. A nice and simple black frame.
