Lives Up To Its BillingI was initially dubious of the chair's claims even after reading the study linked on their site.To my surprise, the chair really does improve my posture and comfort. The halo effect they mention does actually happen and I walk more erect after sitting with the nadachair. I sit at a computer 8-10 hours a day as an engineer and the chair is simply superb.One downside is that when seated for a while, the lower back area where the cushion rests begins to sweat and can't escape the cushion, so when you release the chair, there's some wetness causing your shirt to cling.Putting on and taking off the chair are very simple to do and not the hassle I'd originally thought it would be.The only other downside is that you'll look just as idiotic as all the pictures of people enjoying their nadachair. Low and behold when I received the package this afternoon, no straps. Why advertise a product when it can't be delivered as such? 2Not an overnight sensation but there is HOPEI have serious back issues and am always looking for ways to improve my condition. I'm seriously trying to avoid surgery. I know that two annoying issues have arisen: 1. weakened back muscles 2. hard to strengthen muscles without causing more damage/pain. I've used this item three times since receiving it. Day 1 after use stiff but reduced pain. Day 3 (today) twinge of pain and stiff. Here is where it gets interesting, my back seems stronger. I actually stood straight up without leaning on something for support. Listen this is no joke, 4 months ago my stint in PT ENDED AFTER 1 1/2 YEARS. I'm trying to avoid the knife. I lost my great back muscles. I suffer a two day backlash after grocery shopping. I noticed that i am automatically correcting my posture without discomfort. I don't know how long this will last or whether I will be able to fully recover, but if this is any indication, I'm on the road to recovering my lower back strength. Today I am optimistic. To those of us with aggravated back issues, this might be an alternative that will gradually change a very debilitating condition into one that is tolerable. Please include the video in this listing. 5Back supportI first learned of the Nada chair when my Wife gave a chair to my Dad and her Dad this past Christmas. I tried it for myself and I liked it. I have since bought one for myself and I am glad that I did.I spend a lot of my day 9-10 hours sitting in front of a computer at work. I have found that the Nada chair helps relieve my back aches and I have found that my back is in better shape at the end of a day.The adjustment straps allow me to keep lumbar support and allow for better release of any tension that develops in my back. I have shown it to my co-workers and those that have tried it like it.I am glad that I have one and I recommend it to anyone that spends a significant amount of time sitting; I believe it will help your back. 5My Back Has Improved Tremendously!Couldn't be more pleased with this product. The padding on the straps is not very thick, and may be uncomfortable on the knees, so some people might want to also order the knee pads from Nada Chair. They spread out the tension on the knees. 5after which you can stand much straiter and be more comfortable than you would have otherwiseThis is the only review I have written in my 69 years. I have probably given 100 Nada chairs as gifts to people I know or meet, typically when they are having lower back difficulties. This is what a Milwaukee insurance agent did for me 25 years ago. When you have lower back pain, which causes not being able to stand straight after being seated, using the Nada chair provides lumbar support when seated, after which you can stand much straiter and be more comfortable than you would have otherwise. Huge value for dollar spent.P.S. After having frequent recurring lower back spasms for 30 years, I am disciplined in a series of exercises that dramatically reduce the frequency and severity of back spasms/difficulties, and it's great being fit. 5It's got my back!There isn't really much to say other than this is a tremendous product. My posture used to be dreadful and I sit on a simple four-legged wooden chair in my living room. I try my best to remember to hold a good posture but I lapse :( As soon as I put on the Nada Chair, that was that! Immediately and effortlessly it corrected my posture. I also struggle to sit cross-legged on the floor - the Nada Chair lets me fully relax my body without slouching. I'm also very pleased to support (ha-ha) the company and not fall prey to the blatant rip-off that's out there. 5A truly remarkable product for back pain.It's been a while since I bought this product. I bought it for my husband who has a very painful back (from jumping out of perfectly good airplanes when he was a young US Army Officer). The first one I bought he took to work to wear when he was sitting. The second one I bought he uses at his office computer chair. This Nada chair is amazing. After only a few days of wearing his back pain was less. He has been using it now for more than a year and says he has no back pain. I absolutely recommend this chair. If I had any advise to the company it would be to picture a beautiful 6'4" man using it in addition to the beautiful pregnant woman they use in the current ad. This, I think, is a perfect chair for anyone with a bad back. 5
