Easy to set up-- I haven't had an issue with ... Easy to set up-- I haven't had an issue with the filter falling out like some other people have mentioned. All I can say is make sure all parts are cleaned and dried off before installing the filter inside! The water does filter quickly and it tastes as good as any other major brand water filters. I haven't had this product for a while yet so I can't speak for its longevity but I will update in a year or so.The dial "reminder calendar" that is on top of the pitcher is not an automatic one like Brita has, I think this is why people were confused. You literally turn the dial four months ahead of whatever month you are on now (so like if you started using it in January, turn the dial to 4/April) to remind yourself that is when to change the filter. 5Good, clean waterThis filtration system lived up to the description. It filtrates quickly and the water tastes wonderful. I have hard water with sediment and had been buying water for drinking. I no longer need to. My pets like the water, as well.5Better than Brita It's cheaper overall than buying and maintaining a Brita filter. It also removes more inpurities. The filtering is very fast and you can refill it without taking off the top because there is a blowhole that you can depress to let water in. The upper chamber that holds the un-filtered water only fits 2-3 cups worth at a time, but since it's so fast, it doesn't take that long to wait to refill it to filter more. This might be frustrating for larger households where multiple people use the pitcher, since the pitcher itself is quiet slim, and if you pour more than 2 glasses, you have to refill it again. But the speed makes up for it. It's also super relaxing to watch the water filer through because the filter is a long, thin rectangular shape and the water comes through like rain. My cat is obsessed with this filter and loves staring at it after I fill it. It's also slim enough to fit on a fridge door shelf, and light enough to take in and out of the fridge easily. 5WOW! Pleasantly surprised!Quite frankly, I never take the time to review things, but I HAD to write this one. I've owned a Brita and Pur pitcher - neither has the ability to properly filter chlorine. The water in my area has very high chlorine levels ( I can literally smell it several feet away once I turn the faucet on. Or with laundry, the chlorine overpowers the smell of the fabric softener!). This pitcher just arrived today - and wow! Chlorine-free water! And it has a very sleek and elegant design. That's kind of superficial, but not for nothing, it's a very pretty pitcher. I am extremely pleased.5Way better than Brita or Pur brands! After several years switching between Brita and Pur filters (depending which is cheaper at Walmart), I decided to try something completely different.Firstly....Holy crap this thing filters FAST! I can't taste any difference between water from this and water from other filters. The design fits perfectly in my fridge door, and the wood accent makes it look a little classy too. The fill mechanism works smoothly, and pouring works without spills (which happened often with other filters, if there was water in the top portion).Overall, I'm very glad I made this purchase, and have been recommending this filter to friends. 5Good water filterIt is great. It looks sleek and clean (much better than the old Brita filter I had). But the best part is how fast it filters. It's great.5AVOIDI'm not often so adamant about staying away from some products but this...The Nakii filter is so shady. This product is advertising useless information to make it seem credible... It is fast filtering because it's cutting corners on the filtering process. Inside of the plastic filter are little pellets and the filter does not have nearly enough of them to properly filter water that you put in. Currently, the filters are only about half full of pellets which means that there are parts of the filter where water does not filter through these pellets. Imagine pouring water into soil. The spot you pour water on creates a hole in the soil. It does the exact same thing in the filter with these pellets meaning you're just pouring tap water straight through a plastic container for some of it...If I'm going to be drinking water, a requirement to life, I don't want to be questioning the filter and filtering water through something that doesn't make sense.TL;DR: Not all of the water is being filtered and Nakii has very low credibility.1I can't believe how much better my water tastes!I had another brand for years and found out that it didn't even filter out rust (which is what I needed it for). So I looked into it and found that this 1 has the best rating on Amazon and is in my price range. My family and I could not believe how good the water tastes now! GET IT! It works (make sure the filter is in all the way) it's easy to fill and does not take long for the reservoir to empty. She too likes the filtered water and uses it every day. Here's a hint: The instructions tell you that it's good for 150 gals or about 4 months as I recall. Around that time, the pitcher will take longer to filter the water because the filter is clogging up. Normally the pitcher filters the water fast, so when it slows, change the filter. It actually filters our water so that it tastes so much better while doing so at a very fast rate. It looks beautiful (I'm a bit of a design snob) and fits perfectly into the door of our refrigerator. Oh yes and even the filters themselves are reasonably priced. What more do you need in a Water Filter?The only design flaws we have found are that the little covers for the pouring hole & spout come off easily making it all too possible to lose one while breaking the other. But that said...we likey!5Happy with this purchase! Similar to some other reviewers, I live in a hard water area and want to spare my coffee maker the harsh effects of the local tap water. In addition, we want to avoid the use of bottled water for drinking. The Nakii water filter is fast and nicely designed ... looks good, feels nicely balanced when pouring. I was a little concerned about the breezy description of the filter life (up to 4 months) as that doesn't address the different types of users. With just a little math, I was able to determine that, given the container capacity and the described liter life, one can anticipate about 300 "fills" per filter. That will be about 100 days in our household ... your mileage may vary. 5
