"Perfect for constant spitting or GERD"! These bibs are lifesavers!! I purchased 4 packs of these for my infant son who at the time was 2 months old when I purchased. He has severe reflux "GERD" so he was constantly spitting up & has projectial vomiting so his clothes were always wet at the neck line. These bibs really helped me not needing to have to change his clothes due to all the spitting & vomiting. I ordered extra so that theres always some in hand when he needed his bib changed. These bibs held up with the consistent vomiting and spitting up for my 2 month old. They are very easy to put on and very easy to remove to just throw them in the washer. The fabric is very soft not irritating fabric to babies skin. They are also large. After several washes they still look new they are very durable and soft. I highly recommended these bibs to all moms who have babies that suffer from GERD or just to keep babies onesis or clothes clean from food or constant spitting up. I recommend buying several to always have some clean bibs on hand instead of having to new to wait for the used ones to be washed and dried. Saves time buying several. Highly recommend!! 5Too thin. Will NOT be ordering more. Too thin. Our 3 month old has relfux, and when he spits up, it soaks right through these in a matter of seconds. Also, if baby "dribbles" or more then a few drops hit the same spot, plan on changing their clothes, as it will soak right through these. He can soak one of our "good" bibs too, but not as fast, as they are more absorbent and hold more. I have gone through 3 of these in 1 feeding. All 10 of these are the same way. I will NOT be re-ordering these. Once I get replacements for these, they are out to the garage for rags! 1Great for baby reflux I used these bibs as a baby shower project. I was unsure of how usable they d actually be, especially since I bought a generous 20 of them, but they worked beautifully as a fun and creative project. Even the men enjoyed designing and coloring the bibs.I just heard from the Mama and she is raving about how much she loves these bibs for her little one who is about a month old now. He is quite spitty and the bibs do a great job of keeping him, her, and his clothes clean. She said she likes them better than her burp rags because they soak everything up quickly and feel dry within moments. She also has some fancier bibs she was gifted and said they don t work near as well as these. She has a spitty baby and uses about 10 bibs a day, so what I thought was a really generous amount turned out to be barely enough. If you are considering these for a baby shower or are a mama that is struggling with a spitty baby, I highly recommend these bibs. I bought these to put some iron on vinyl to personalize them and they worked fantastically for that. Very happy with these bibs. 5Workhorse bibs My kid spits up like a Dilophosaurus, so these bad boys have saved. My. Sanity. I love that I don't have to fuss around with whether the bib matches the clothes he's wearing, I can immediately grab another when he soaks through the first and he's gotten fewer rashes around his shoulders where the damp clothes used to rub on him. I can't really say it *saves* on laundry, but it definitely saves you from having to dress a flailing baby a million times a day. The bibs are very absorbent, which I can't say for all the pretty decorative ones we got at the baby shower. 5perfect for freezer paper stencils! I bought these to use for my sister in law's baby shower activity. We used freezer paper stencils on these bibs (as well as onesies) and let the guests paint a design using the stencil. I was concerned that the stencil wouldn't adhere as well, but it all worked out great! 5A real steal & perfect for embroidery. Ignore the negative reviews! I can't believe that I hesitated on buying these due to the negative reviews. These are absolutely worth every cent - if not more - than the buck and a quarter or so I ended up paying for each. I honestly don't know what the negative reviewers expected for the cost. It's crazy to expect thick, luxuriously plush, waterproof bibs at this price. I am very pleased with the quality of these bibs. These are very soft to the touch and plush without being bulky. This is thin, low-pile terry with tiny loops vs. a larger, thicker, loose knit. These are TWO layers thick, not one, as stated in previous reviews (You can tell because the two layers can be pulled apart, although the fabric doesn't shift). The edging is perfectly sewn in place in one long piece with tight, even stitches. No lifting edges, loose stitches or pieces of thread sticking out anywhere. I washed and dried these on the hottest settings, ran an iron over them quickly (to prepare them for embroidering) and they looked absolutely flawless. No curling edges or uneven binding shrinkage at all. Once I cut the tags off (these are made in China), I realized that I could not tell the back from the front (so they are probably reversible if you wanted to use thin puffy fabric paint to decorate). I bought these to embroider and use for my own baby girl due in February. They fit perfectly in the 4x4 hoop of my Brother LBW6800 machine and came out beautifully. (I posted some pics with this review).I don't think I could make these bibs for cheaper than this price. I bought terry fabric from the Amazon-owned fabric site for nine bucks a yard to make my own burping cloths & bibs. Even though it's thicker, it arrived full of loose threads & pulls and looked like a mess after I washed it (but that's another story). I will definitely be buying more of these to embroider, applique or just use as a plain white goes-with-everything bibs. Buy these - you won't be disappointed!FYI - these measure about 10.25" total top to bottom. The front measures about 6.25" from neck opening to bottom edge and about 8" across at the widest point with a 4" or so neck opening. 5PLEASE NOTE IF USING FOR EMBROIDERY If you're looking for a mediocre bib to buy in bulk for crafts, these might suffice. I've purchased these more than once and have noticed that the quality seems to have changed since I bought these a year or more ago. I first bought these in 2014 and thought they were definitely good enough for my purposes. I buy these to hand embroider as gifts and now to embroider for my own baby. The first two batches of these that I purchased were good! I just bought these again (2016) and these bibs seem thinner and the white not as bright. These also seem stretchier. To be fair, the title for these does describe them as having stretch. But I have one or two of these from earlier orders left in my sewing kit and in comparing them see these differences in quality. These are definitely the same brand and style - I reordered directly from my order history. I'm disappointed with this latest package.A note for people wanting to embroider these: the stretch of the fabric these bibs are made of necessitates the use of a fabric stabilizer. This isn't a big deal for me because I have yards of iron-on fabric stabilizer on hand and am very experienced using it. But I thought I'd warn those interested in embroidering these so you can make sure you have some on hand prior to starting your sewing project. I can't imagine trying to embroider these without using a stabilizer. The stretch of the fabric would leave stitches looking puckered or uneven and even getting these in a hoop might be problematic without a stabilizer to keep the fabric taut while embroidering.Pros and Cons for these bibs:Pros -Very inexpensive, easily fits infant necks up to at least 12 months old. I've made these for toddlers and they've fit kids up to age 2-3 years, but I think beyond age 12 months it would probably depend on the size of the individual child.These wash and dry nicely in my experience. Velcro doesn't lose ability to adhere with repeated washing and drying.Cons- Problem w/ quality control between packages over the years - newer ones don't seem as high quality. White of newer batch seems a bit dingy and these seem thinner and stretchier than earlier packages. Stretchiness might bother those who embroider and necessitate use of a fabric stabilizer. Overall cheap quality makes me hesitate in embroidering these. Do I really want to bother putting time and effort into embroidering a cheap looking and feeling bib? Eh, not really. I definitely won't embroider these with anything complicated. I'll probably just embroider these with a quick design on each and only because I opened package and threw them in the wash without examining them carefully. Since previous packages were good I didn't bother and now I can't return them. Lesson learned. I'm looking for something better to use for future embroudery projects. 3Great Deal! I purchased these for a baby shower that had a tie dye table. The price was right and it shipped prime so it got here two days later which was perfect. The only down side was that these didn't take the dye, it didn't want to absorb. We were thinking that it might have gone better if we washed these first. If you are getting these for a baby shower and you plan to decorate I'd suggest washing them first, other than that these are a great deal for the price. 4
