    Terrible LadleI honestly hate this ladle. It's extremely small; it barely holds 1/2 cup liquid. The handle is extremely weak; it feels like is could bend and break with little effort. It's not tall enough. It looks like it would stand tall out of a larger sauce pan, but it barely peaks out in reality. The ladle also falls over with little force, completely defeating the purpose of it having feet to stand on. Save your $14.00 and buy a regular ladle. 1Look at the cuteness of this little guy!!I LOVE this ladle. And my boyfriend cracks me up by sending me random photos of this little guy all the time. It s super cute and makes a great conversation piece. Ended up giving this one to the cats because they love playing with it, and I decided I m not cooking with something that spends more time on the floor. Bought another one for cooking. Speaking of cooking...only issue is the handle is too flimsy. Don t really use it much for its intend purposes, but it looks adorbs on the kitchen counter. 5Everyone needs a Nessie Ladle in their life.This. Really can t even begin to say how much I love this thing. I personally don t use it for hot foods, tho I m sure it would stand the rest of time, I ordered this to be my staple at work functions. I am a lover of unique things and this totally fits the bill. He serves fruit, banana pudding and other miscellaneous desert items. Everyone is jealous as all get out, I can tell. If you ve come across it, just buy it. You won t regret it. 5Super cute but not usefulThis is an incredibly cute product, but it ended up becoming decoration in my kitchen as it's not useful. It bends too easily and it not sturdy at all. I like the product simply because it's cute, but this would only be good for a gag gift not to actually use this product. 2Failure. Doesn't stand up. Not heat safe material. Wish I had my money back...What a waste. It does not stand up in the soup - chunky, watery, whatever - it is not properly weight and kind of floats and tips forward - EVERY TIME. It's a cute concept, but the material doesn't lend itself to doing the very thing someone would buy it for. Also, the material is not heat safe - WHA...?!? For use in cold soup only then?!? Seriously, we spent $14 for this POS. Do NOT buy this... 1Super cuteMy adult daughter is a big kid at heart and still loves all things dinosaur so when I saw this I knew I had to get it for her Christmas stocking. And yes, I know Nessie isn't a dino, we're just going to pretend its a brontosaurus. She loved it. The ladle is adorable and while being super cute, it works just as well as any conventional ladle but with a kick of fun.It is well made and has stood up for a few months now of pretty constant use from her. She washes it in the dishwasher and so far, still good as new. I see the reviews saying the neck is flimsy and doesn't hold up when pouring soup, but I have to honestly say, she didn't experience this at all. 5Not sturdyIt s cute and funny but not conventional. It s so lightweight that it doesn t stand up in a bowl of soup. It tips over and slides down. Was hoping for a better product. More for looks I guess. 2it is horribly balanced. Falls over very easilySmallest ladle I have ever purchased. Misleading from photos for the ladle, from this site as well as from the attached product label. The maximum volume of a heaping ladle from this is a miniscule 1/2 cup. As well, the handle is so flimsy that you cannot even take a full scoop without worry of having it make a mess. On top of that, it is horribly balanced. Falls over very easily. I might as well buy this for my kids to play with instead of actually cooking and using it for its actual purpose. 1I ordered 3 different colors and only got one real Ototo Nessie. The other 2 were knockoffsI ordered 3 different colors. One teal and it's the only real one I got. The other two, the red and green were not real. I submitted photos showing the differences between them. The Teal (only real one I got) Nessie is nice and a quality product. You can tell it sets better and feels like what I expected. The Green one did not come with a product board, it was simply in a plastic bag. The Green one wasn't that bad it is a little more top heavy and is much easier to tip over, but overall not that bad. The Red one came with a product board, but it was single ply and was missing information that was on the real product board. the red one had flashing in the eye and dips in the on the inside where the legs are. There is some discoloration at spots on it. It is the flimsiest of the 3 and the easiest to tell that it wasn't a real Ototo Nessie. After saying all of that. All 3 are usable and the average person most likely wouldn't notice the difference, except the red one, but even it is still usable. Again I added photos. 5NOTHING LIKE WHAT IT LOOKS LIKEThe Ladle does NOT stand up like advertised... The handle is very short and only for very small pots. The handle is NOT sturdy and bends terribly. Not what we expected nor advertised. 1
