    Great Product that really Works! I love how this alkanizing hydrogen water stick works! I was amazed at how it softens water that isn't even hard! This is my first introduction to the concept to ionized hydrogen alkinated water & the health benefits. I personally tested the water and measured a 7.5 ph. I can also tell that the electrical charge of the water is dramatically different due to significantly higher by the way in which the water clings higher to the edges of the glass. This quality is indicative of water with more positively charged hydrogen ionization. I such a small osmotic device for water is available to the general public speaks to our increasing understanding of micro-applications of technology. While my tap water is not flouridated, it does have some degree of chlorine in it which I believe is why my water retains a small amount of cloudiness. At a gallon a day, buying distilled water is already cost prohibitive. Give it a try; It works for me very well, even though I see a couple of poor reviews. You won't really know till you try it, which I recommend. 5Made in China. Leaching some kind of black/grey particles in to the water This is my stupidest purchase of 2016 since I bought this product without first researching.Unfortunately, the listing does not include country of origin and I can guess why.I searched on the Alibaba website and the only country that is listed for making the exact same sticks are made in CHINA.I followed the instruction and I used this stick inside my stainless steel bottle, and after few days I looked inside and noticed black particles in the water. What have we come to expect from a product made in China? As a business owner, I know that several products sold on Amazon that claim to be "organic" or "100% natural", are not even natural. Be careful of lying Chinese manufacturers and/or their sellers! Also, all this alkaline Hydrogen sticks made in China, so buying different brand it is just rebranded products from the same manufacturer.I did not feel more energy or anything special using this stick. 4Did not work for me! Did not work for me! I followed the instructions provided and the "hydrogenized" water pH level did not change. Even using 2 different pH test strips newly bought there was no change. 1SOOO REFRESHING !!!! SHORT VERSION: IT WORKS.LONG VERSION :Let me first say that I did not compare this stick with other sticks, except that I read a review of someone that carefully compared all sticks and measured all the results and the only difference he found was in price (the price I found is between $24.00 and $35.00 and I could not believe that this one I bought cost less than $3.00--when I bought, now I don't know how much it cost.MY HISTORY WITH ALKALINITY --I had experimented with alkaline water but don't know whether I was too healthy to feel anything or the products weren't good. Lately I buy Figi water sporadically, never felt any different. I placed this stick in the water, (osmosis water) shook for 30 seconds--as instructed-- and poured in a glass, drunk. Slept like when I was a teenager (any of us that are involved with health and nutrition knows that teenagers sleep well and have lots of dreams), so that is the way it was for me.I have some health challenges and I can't even begin to describe how much his little stick has helped.THE FUTURE :Now of course, I want to get into this alkaline stuff (not alkaline food--done that--but alkaline water and here is what I concluded (please do your own research, I'm just sharing my own opinion), a machine will cost me $4,000.00, I'll have to keep on testing the water (had osmosis in the entire house when it cost about $3,000.00 without including maintenance which was about $600.00 a year (I know, I'm old) only to find out by a salesperson that the machine was built with a defect and it was not safe to drink the water, no refunds...so for such a small amount...I'll keep buying the stick. IT WORKED WONDERS FOR ME and my husband 5Metallic flavor for no extra charge! Worked great at first but started producing a metallic taste in the water after using for about 2 weeks so we switched to a different brand that seems to be producing better results. 3Does not work!!! Thanks so much! 5works as claimed Before I bought this product I did plenty of online research on alkaline water. I was trying to understand what the benefits were and why people would pay thousands of dollars for the water ionizers. Some of the conclusions that I came to was that the alkalinity of the water was not the beneficial aspect of the water ionizers, but rather the antioxidant effects of the water. As I understand, the antioxidant effects of water or solution is measured in ORPs, which stands for Oxidation Reduction Potential, also called Redox. ORPs also measure the oxidizing effects of water.The effects of oxidation can be witnessed when metal rusts, when a sliced apple browns, or when a material is burning. Oxidation probably works similarly in the human body, though I am not a biologist or scientist and cannot make any claims. It seems that this is why antioxidants are so popular and said to be such an important part of the body's diet. If oxidation has the effect of breaking down, then antioxidants could be said to have the effect of building up, or at least not breaking down. Please do your own research to verify the accuracy of this information.We were contemplating purchasing one of the less expensive water ionizers ($700 range), but it didn't seem to make sense when some of the portable and inexpensive water ionizers such as this stick were making claims of producing negative ORP, which would be antioxidant water (I think). The expensive machines claim to produce water with an ORP in the range of anywhere from -200 to as high (or low) as -1100. As you might guess, ORP in the negative range is an antioxidant, whereas ORP in the positive range is an oxidant (again I think). I don't know where exactly the transition point is, meaning if 0 ORP is perfectly neutral or not.So I decided to purchase a digital ORP meter ($100) that also measured pH at the same time I ordered the portable ionizer sticks (I ordered a NewCell Alkaline Hydrogen Portable Water Ionizer Stick and a Alkaline Hydrogen Water Stick aka Diet Water Ion Stick), since using a meter is the only way to determine the ORP and this is the critical measurement. Fortunately everything arrived at the same time. Over the next few days I ran a battery of tests using different waters and taking measurements before using the stick and after. The tests were performed in my kitchen and not highly controlled, although I did do my best by rinsing everything with each new sample using the water of that particular sample as the rinse. By the way, the two portable ionizer sticks were identical, the only difference was that one cost twice as much.Per the instructions on the portable water ionizer I placed the stick inside of a water bottle and shook for 30 seconds, then let sit for 20 minutes. I took before and after samples. Also, I forgot to remove the stick one morning and it sat in the water for almost 2 hours. It raised the pH of the water by about another half point from the standard results but had no appreciable effects on the ORP. It seems that shaking the water vigorously for a longer period of time will get you lower ORP.I think that these products are definitely worth the money, and I would recommend purchasing an ORP meter if you are serious about getting the results you want.I hope this information helped you.UPDATE:Sorry, I forgot to do the update earlier. About a month after having these units, I noticed that he ORP was not lowering much with use. So I decided to try to clean the units. I read somewhere in another review that using vinegar would help. So I did this. I soaked it in vinegar and shook it like I did when using it normally. Then I drained it after a minute or so, and had to rinse it by adding clean water and shaking as if I were using it normally. I had to do this several times to eliminate the smell of vinegar.This process dramatically increased the effectiveness of the unit. I didn't record the numbers but I remember that it was performing similarly to when it was new. A couple or a few weeks later I measured the ORP again and noticed again that it was steadily declining (moving higher into the positive range), so I did the cleaning process again. This time I soaked it and forgot about it for about 10 or 15 minutes, letting it soak in the vinegar. After cleaning out the vinegar, I noticed that there were bits and pieces of the filtering materials that were coming out of the unit into the water. After about a dozen thorough rinsings, this would not stop. I have up after about a dozen rinses believing that I ruined the unit by soaking it in vinegar for a prolonged period of time, and threw it away. 5shedding the pounds no one seems to think this stick works but i have news for u it does. i have lost weight n weight. i buy a bottle of water drop it inside n shake it up. i gained weight being sick n couldnt move around the way i wanted. started taking this n lost 30lbs within six months. i drink so much water when i drink anything else i break out in a rash. nomore sodas n juice for me. 5Love, love, love! These sticks are so easy to use. I just pop 2 of them in my distiller water and am ready to go for all my drinking and cooking needs. I can already feel a change in how I feel. I'm buying more to have on hand. These are saving me hundreds of $$ over the costly machines available on Amazon. 5
