    Considering Home Brewing? I have been considering trying my hand at home brewing for a while now since I LOVE craft beers. After looking through all of the starter kit options I decided to give small batch brewing a try. This kit contains everything needed to brew 1 gallon of beer, except the bottles. Here are some great features to this kit:1. The kit includes everything needed to brew your own beer.2. The price is awesome for anyone who is unsure whether they want to try their hand at brewing or not. Also very reasonable price for a gift.3. Pick your style of beer. There are several options, and the selection of small batch recipe kits offered by Northern Brewer is ASTOUNDING!4. Easy to follow instructions AND a DVDs guide. Seriously, if you can make Mac 'N Cheese you can brew your first batch of beer.So, look no further if you are considering home brewing. This is a purchase you will not regret! 5If your looking for a great first kit, this is it. All in all the kit is fantastic. Perfect set of brewing equipment for someone who is serious about starting small batch brewing or just wants to give it a try once. Not new to home brewing but downsizing since time away from hobby and moving into an apartment low on space. This kit had pretty much everything I wanted and nothing I did not. Ended up cracking the sugar with a hammer. Not sure I added enough for each bottle. Will wait and see. 3Not easy at all I bought this for my husband thinking that it would be fun and it was a disaster. It is true that the kit has everything but it is very difficult to use. the hose is difficult, all the beer comes out, and the kitchen becomea mess. even the hose broke.So, I found myself on the floor holding the hose while my husband pump the beer in a position super difficult to maintain as for 10 or more minutes. all my arms full of beer because it was dripping . At one point we laughed but it is definitely not for everyone. the final taste is like malt. You still need to purchase your own bottles but it comes with everything else you need to brew. 5If you can follow a recipe, you can make beer! Just bottled my first batch of American Wheat using this kit. A very easy process, I hope it is actually drinkable! I now have a batch of Cream Ale in the fermenter. The instructions and equipment are easy to use: great for a beginner. Phone support is also excellent.
