I only power them up once in a while during parties or when we have company in the evenings, but they do work well and I have not had a problem with them. I bought the brown color wire so they would blend with the fence and background.4Outdoor use?I ordered these in August to use over the holidays. In nov member I set them up on some trees and bushes. After about 4 weeks of use they started to fail with large sections (1/2 string) no longer working and other random lights going out as well. These may be good for indoors but for my outdoor use these lights failed.1Beautiful effect on Christmas Wedding Archway I wanted white lights with white cords and this string was just perfect. The string was long enough to double and weave loosely around the arch for a perfect highlight behind carefully arranged tulle. Compliments poured in for several weeks after the wedding on how beautiful it all looked. The wedding was in a 200+ year-old small church that has recently been restored. The church cemetery has soldiers from the Revolutionary War and lots of history. 5Update burnt out after 6 monthsNice lighting not too brightHad them for over a month and all is good..update.. 6 months from date of purchase half of string is burnt out!3
