Description

Super soft reusable nursing pads in interwoven merino wool, designed by Danish nurse. Interwoven wool fibers make pad light-weight, yet absorptive. Available in a variety of sizes to suit each woman's needs.
More comfortable than disposables or cotton - wool absorbs moisture, keeping skin dry. Even when wet, wool feels warm.
Small, 6 inch diameter. Most popular & universally recommended size. (See photo for size comparison to disposable). Cup size B-DD or larger. Sold as set of 2 pads-1 pair. (Take note - these are larger than most women expect! Cup size is a guideline - please choose size based on measurements.)
Most women need only 2-3 pairs for entire nursing period. Wool's natural lanolin content provides self-cleansing properties, allowing for extended use without washing. Wash, on average (depending on amount of leaking), every 2 weeks with lanolin-replenishing woolwash to maintain hygienic effects.
Wool breathes and modifies temperature against your skin to keep you feeling comfortable in warmth or cold temperatures.

The BEST breast pads!I loved these. For super tender nipples, they were there absolute best pads. Very, very comfortable, and didn't show through my bra. A bit annoying to wash, but they don't need washed often do that was a nice offset. Highly recommend. 5Great product, just DO NOT WASHthese were the best breast pads for someone with vasospasms. they really kept me warm and helped decrease pain. then, one of them got in the wash... and it shurnk and hardened like a hockey puck. For being so expensive, I was crushed. So now I'm alternating one in each side. I just wish they had been more specific around not washing and if there were any tips around how to save this now deformed pad. If I hadn't had the washing debacle, I would have given 5 stars... I think these are the only breast pads needed! 4Not nearly as good as the originalI was unable to find the original style anywhere in my size, sor I thought I'd give these are try. They are such a disappointment. Not only do they she'd a lot more, but they are not nearly as absorbent. I never once leaked through with the originals, and could go several weeks without washing them. I've been using these are week, they already need to be washed, and I leak through regularly (my little one is only a week and a half old so milk production hasn't even ramped up yet). I used the originals for two years without incident. These just aren't going to cut it; I'll have to find something else. 2Great!I love wool! We switched to wool diaper covers and I switched to wool nursing pads with this baby, and I love it! I have two pairs of Ekstra that I use for nighttime and now that my supply is steady and I don't leak as much, I wanted something light to wear during the day so I purchased these. These are for LIGHT use, if you are still heavily leaking you need to use a heavier pad (ie Ekstra)! I barely ever letdown during the day, and when I do it is very minimal so these are perfect!Like I said, I love wool. With my supply settled down I only wash my pads once a month! How much easier could it be?! 5So Soft!i bought the x-small. im a size 38B now that im nursing. the wool is so soft, it is the only thing i can use. i cannot stand my nipples rubbing on clothes, or disposable pads or cotton pads. this is the way to go ladies! i leak a lot during nursing times, so i need to switch to a hard cup (o-callette ones are great) while my son feeds on the first breast. the lana care pads are better concealed in my bra, you cannot see the edges as with other pads. i wish i had these during my first pregnancy. definitely worth the price. a high quality product that i use everyday! 5Best for sore nipples!I used these pads while nursing my daughter 3 years ago, so I knew I needed them again for baby #2. I used them straight away while I was still in the hospital and I believe it helped with the nipple pain/cracking. You cannot see the outline of the pad when worn in a nursing bra (I m speaking about the regular width, the comfort padded ones are much thicker). Also, be sure to follow the manufacturer instructions for cleaning. You *cannot* wash these in the washing machine. I made that mistake and it came out the size of a silver dollar and unusable. I have three pair so that when I need to clean one pair I still have the others. I defitneky recommend these to all nursing mothers. So much more comfortable than the disposable ones and better for the environment! 5Thank heavens!I've NEVER written a review for anything before. And believe me, I do my fair share of online shopping. However, these are so good, I want to sing it from the rooftops.I've had a tough time nursing my little one, who just turned 7 weeks, due to a shallow latch and reynauds syndrome. I've tried a million different things to make them better and keep them warm. After seeing an LC who helped me perfect my latch, these were the missing piece to the puzzle. They keep my breasts and nipples so warm without being sweaty and gross. Since they're warm, they're also pain free! My nipples don't stick to them, unlike other reusable pads. They're so comfortable. I just can't get enough. The LC I saw and these nursing pads honestly saved me from stopping breastfeeding before I wanted to. THANK YOU SO MUCH! 5buy the original or extraI've used the soft line and original by this manufacturer. The original perform MUCH better and I regret purchasing the soft line. The soft line aren't as absorbant for a strong letdown and moderate leaking. They get stuck to my nipples... Ouch!! They also shed wool onto baby's mouth. The good thing about wool is it keeps the breast warm and helps relieve the pain from cracking and poor newborn latching. They beat cotton or disposable but spend the extra money on the original or extra varieties!!! 2Regret my purchaseVery disappointed. The first set of these, I purchased from my hospital as it was recommended by my LC (also sold by Danish Wool). After reading the instructions, they basically tell you you need 2 pairs so you always have one handy. Thus, I purchased another set on Amazon and the cleaning detergent before I used them as they have to be washed before your first use. I really regret my purchases that ended up costing me over $60 because it does not absorb anything. If you have the slightest leak, it just passes through onto your bra. They also have no quality control because one set is much thinner than the other one but both are thin as you can pretty much see through the wool on both of them. Its hard to imagine that they would absorb anything in the first place. My other organic nursing pads worked so much better and are a fraction of the price. Now I have 2 pairs of pads and pretty much a full bottle of detergent collecting dust at home. Oh, and what the other reviewer said was true. You will always have wool stuck to your nipple and need to pick it off/clean them first before feeding. This is annoying when you have a hungry newborn waiting to be fed. I don't recommend this to any mothers that has the smallest leak as you too will be disappointed. 1great product!These are the only things that have helped me get a good night's sleep! I find them too big for daytime use, but for nighttime I put a cotton pad inside of them and then when I wake up, I just have to change the cotton pad. The wool pad prevents me from leaking all over my bed and waking me up. I have found that the cotton pad by itself wasn't enough to prevent leaking, but I don't know that there is a pad in this world that could prevent me from leaking. ha! 4
