Best Pens I've Ever UsedI first used these pens when my coworker lent me one of hers during a meeting. I am a picky pen snob and love finding new pens that write smoothly, have even and fast ink flow, and write bold. It is so hard to find thick writing pens! These pens are perfect in every way. I have to guard them though because my friends keep trying to take them when I'm not paying attention. Yes, they are THAT good! 5I read the reviews than ordered. Wrong!Unusable. After using a lot of scratch paper I finally got the pens to write. They certainly weren't smooth. Holding them at anything but a 90 angle to the paper, they didn't even write. And at 90 angle they left blotches. I gave them all sorts of chances to try to make them effective writing tools, same results. Every pen of the 12 that came in the box was the same. I had to trash them. 1Best Pens in Entire UniverseI LOVE these pens so much. Nothing compares to them. I use the 1.0's and the ink is bold and dark and flows from the pen with such an ease that I feel like I am painting. I write constantly at work and these pens make writing a joy and a pleasure. I joked with my boss that if my pen shipment from Amazon didn't arrive before my current pens were used up, that I would call in sick because I couldn't stand to write with anything else. I have also considered what would happen if Papermate stopped making these pens, and the answer is obviously, I would have to quit my job and do something else because I absolutely REFUSE to write with anything less. 5Dismal pensIn wish I would have tried these all out when I first received them. These are the worst pens ever. They started out very nicely but after merely a page or less worth of writing they began missing strokes. The pens quickly continued down hill. They are so bad that we did a secret Santa at work and I asked for gel pens by any company but this particular one. Just buy some g2 or ink ball. Spend the extra for something that will work. 1Great pens for a LeftyThese are my all time favorite pens. I buy nothing else. I am a lefty and regular ballpoint pens don't work as well because we push the pen rather than pull, and therefore ballpoint pens tend to stick. Enter gel pens, which work great but they have a tendency to be super inconsistent and smudgy. Well fret no more because these pens flow easily and write beautifully, but are fast drying. I LOVE them! I was very upset when they stopped carrying them in stores, but I'm so happy that they have them on amazon. I order them in bulk in blue and black and then buy the multi-pack to color code my notes. 5Ahhh-mazingIn case you can't read my handwriting I'll write my review here as well:$9 for 12 of these pens is crazy. I would pay $2 each for these pens if they we're that much. They write incredibly smooth and they're sooo vivid.They come with a little plastic thing on the tip that protects them for drying out, which is super nice since you probably won't be using all 12 at once. I feel like I'm addicted to writing with them - when I first got them I opened them and for 3 hours straight I was writing totally random stuff.But anyway, if your for some reason having doubts about buying these, JUST DO IT, you will not be disappointed!Do note: If you have any family members use them, you may have to buy some more, but hey they make great stocking stuffers, and not gunna lie I wouldn't be mad if I got these as a birthday gift. :D 5Not the same?I have some of these exact pens at work. I love the way those write (red ink) so I thought I'd order some in more colors because I have an ink pen addiction or something. I don't know if the ink formula is different or what but they in no way write as smooth as the red pens at my work. I was really bummed. I still use them but they weren't what I was looking for. 3My favorite pensI would pay anything for these pens. These are the best pens on earth. I had emptied my last one of a pack that was bought years ago drawing and I panicked for a minute wondering if they still made them & thankfully they do! They were a different color casing, but the same pen, so I could finish my drawing without a weird color change. The pen itself is comfortable to hold (lefty with bad holding practices & weak hands in the first place), the gel writes incredibly smoothly with a perfect size that s not too thick or too thin, has an amazing pure black ink with no blue/purple tint, & I m not joking, it makes my handwriting nicer somehow. This is one thing I d bring on a desert island. 5Big Bold and BeautifulIf you're looking for a silky smooth BOLD pen then look no further. I have a favorite pen for my todo list, but I like a thicker pen for writing larger notes on post-it notes that I leave around the house. The ink from the paper mate comes out thick and smooth and they have very consistent QC as all the ones I've tried worked perfectly. It writes effortlessly with little pressure. If you're looking for an excellent bold gel pen on a budget look no further. 5Comparable to G2 Pilot gelI'm a senior in college, so i've done a quite of bit of note-taking. I love finding great pens and enjoy the way they write.These pens are comparable to Pilot's G2 Gel pens. The roll of it is much softer and smoother than the 0.7 G2 pilot pens. Writing feels like gliding, which can improve writing speed.Being a right hander, smearing is not an issue. I tried a smear test with both, it had little to no smear. It feels much more comfortable than G2, due to the fact is slightly larger in circumference. May not matter to women who tend to have smaller hands then men.Sometimes, it's so smooth it loses traction on the paper medium and ink won't come out. Happen a couple of times with a new set. Moderate use, it last pretty long.If you love g2 gel pens, then it's worth a try Paper mates Gel pens. 4
