    It's okay until you washThe kids loved them but when you wash they leave little sequences you will find all over your house. I ended up just throwing them away after washing them. I did follow the directions and still not satisfied. The kids however loved them and they actually played with them quite a bit. They would run into the living room with every new design. Creates some imagination stirring so get it for a break from the video games it seems so many kids are stuck to these days. :( 3Five stars for flip sequin pillows in general. Just for the price I wouldn't expect quality flaws.I LOVE flip sequins. Bags, jackets, everything. It's got a good feel and a moderately heavy "push" (you have to use some force against the sequins to flip them, where I have a bag that a light brush of your hand will do the job). However, mine, like others, has a "seam" down the middle that prevents the sequins on that seam from fully flipping- along that line they always sort of "stick up".On closer inspection, it seems like several of the sequins on this line are "doubled up", so I'll try to cut the extras off and see if that helps. Also, the back is pulling away a bit from the zipper, exposing underlying white threads. That said, it's still great fun as any decent flip-sequins are. This just may not be the best quality case around. 3Great!For the price, these are awesome! So the sequins aren't perfect...it's a $7 pillow case. I bought one for each of my kids and for a gift for my daughter's friend. They are kind of mesmerizing to play with. The teal/pink and orange/blue are much shinier than the purple/navy. It wasn't an issue for us but FYI. I bought 16x16 inserts but I actually think a 17x17 would fill it out just a bit better.Update: I bought a 17x17 insert just to see if it would fit and it did. Fills the pillow out better than the 16x16. 5fun and quality piece of creativity ...The colors are beautiful - eye catching and vibrant. The combination of electric orange and blue are striking and fun to create a "pillow pallet" if ever changing art. This pillow is backed with a soft and sturdy velvety fabric which is so much better than the sequin pillows made with cheaper thin acetate type material. We are enjoying this pillow as much as the young artists for whom we originally purchased the pillow. 5Half of it is very flawed There is a distinct line that you can see down the middle of the pillow where it's sewn different and the sequins are very hard to move. You can see in the photos and video that one side is easy to manipulate and the other barely moves. Don't reccomend this brand. 2My kids and I love these pillowsMy kids and I love these pillows. Great for added color in a room, and a great activity tool for my kids to draw and play with. I was surprised when only the pillow cases came in, but I should have read the item description better. These are just the pillowcases. But, they fit my current pillows, so it worked out. My kids have played with these for about 2 weeks now, still holding strong, no missing sequence. They are holding up pretty good. 4The price is great and it's OKI ordered this for a project I'm working on. The price is great and it's OK. The problem is that while on one side the sequins lay flat and look perfect, the other side isn't quite the same. I got black and white and was intending to put a name on the shite side with vinyl. Unfortunately the white side sequins don't all lay flat. Many of them are sewn incorrectly. I tried to individually change the direction but the threat actually goes through the sequin itself and not the hole at the top that allows the sequin to shift. So, I can't use it for my intended purpose unless I resew the problem sequins and there are just too many of them. For the price though, it's a fun pillow and my daughter will enjoy playing with it the way it is while I search for one of better quality. 2Less than impressed.The reviews seemed promising. We got a dud. There are two weird seams in the sequins that go right through the middle of the pillow. On one side of the weird seam, the sequins move smoothly, on the other side the sequins are stiff and hard to move. The zipper is also coming apart after opening it once to put the insert in. My daughter is so disappointed. We'll be returning it. 1They used to be good...Play Tailor used to be my go-to brand for mermaid pillow covers (I print on them). They had one of the best quality products on Amazon. Sadly their prices have gone up, and their quality has gone down. The last three I ordered are terrible. They are sewn really crooked and the sequins don't lay flat. Really shoddy workmanship. 2so no fault of the company - my bad. I bought a pillow at AC MooreMake sure you READ b/c I didn't. This is not a pillow, but only the pillow case. It clearly states that, so no fault of the company - my bad. I bought a pillow at AC Moore. This is cute and quiet calming. It was a Valentine's gift for my daughter (she is 8) and the night before, while she was in bed, I was playing with it. Now it's hers and she won't let me touch it. I may have to buy my own. 5
