    Finally found the solution! Stays on my belt (or pocket) surprisingly well, without coming off when I take my tape measure on and off. It s more comfortable than attaching the tape directly to my belt- which is the reason I bought it, as I was tired of having a permanent red mark/bruise from carrying a heavy 30 tape on my belt all day. 5Not Sure Yet Very well made and proud it s made in the USA but I rarely take my tape measure off my pocket to measure, and this clip turns sideways when I pull out the tape, impeding my ability to get my tape measure in the right position. Also, there is NO WAY to take a tape measure off it s clip without pulling the whole thing out of your pocket. You must stick your thumb on the pocket hitch pushing down while pulling up on the tape measure. I m not sure if it s worth it yet. Sick of torn pockets though. I ll continue to see if I can get used to it. 3I have thrown out more good jeans than you would ever believe I have thrown out more good jeans than you would ever believe. I am a business ownerand have to have a tape measure on me 80% of the time. I like the Pocket Hitch because itallows me to quickly remove it without messing around with my belt or clothing. I purchasedthem for my employees and they all love it also!!! I will definitely be spreading the word. 5Check metal clip Nice looking. made in the USA,Nice that it clips on belt and you do not have to take your belt off to put it on. But the second catch on the metal clip makes getting the tape measure off difficult.It surely won't fall off. I ground it off after contacting the manufacture and asking about it's design. They said try it see if it works. I asked if any one else had the same issue. Did not get a response to that question. 3Great product. I have never written a review about anything, but this product deserves one.I have had the pocket hitch for about 3 months now and have put it under very heavy use.I am an iron worker and, at bare minimum, need a 35" tape on me at all times.The leather and stitching on this are good quality and hold up well. The tape clip mount itself holds its own well, and the metal form clip inside of it holds its shape and keeps a tight fit while mounted on a pants pocket. This is comfortable to wear and, for me, sits neither too high or too low.I will say that the one i have definitely developed a broken-in look shortly after first starting to use it. This happened quickly and initially i was concerned it would not last. But after a few months, it is just as i said- broken-in.This fits a fatmax and a masterforce just fine with 1/4 inch to spare in the clip mount.The tape fits very snug but is able to slide out and be re-mounted with ease.Out of the 100 times a day i unmount my tape from it, maybe once (at most) does the hitch slide off my pocket, so that is not an issue at all.Best part about this- no more ripped up pockets.Overall this is a fine American-made product and i highly recommend it to anyone in search of a tape-mount. 5Great tape and cordless drill and impact holder. This was a great invention! Have had one now for a few years .Has been put through a lot as a tradesman constantly using a tape measure. Still in great shape. Well made for sure.It also doubles as a drill or 1/4 drive impact holder perfectly! Long as your driver has the clip mounted on the tool.The tool never falls out and is right where you want it. 5Perfect clip on measuring tape holder. I'm a structural fitter/welder who has gone through many tapes and holsters. I clock in and clip on my tape, either a 35ft kobalt or a 25ft stanley (power lock or a fatmax). It has held up like a champ. I recommend this product to anyone in any field. 5
