Description

8" high x 4" wide. Cord is 7 1/2-feet long.
Uses one maximum 60 watt R20 type A bulb (not included). On-off rotary switch on cord.
Small accent uplight in a brushed nickel finish. From the Pro Track brand of lighting.
Ideal for use as a decorative light to accent plants or room details.
Black cord and plug. Keyhole hanging mount on the bottom plate for wall hanging applications.

these are legitGet these and install phillips hue lites.5Very happy with the quality, especially at this price.I use these lamps to place my color-changing LED bulbs behind things, to create colorful accents in my office. So I don't frequently see the lamps, but they are very high quality and I would be happy to have them out in the open. I am using them with a Lifx BR30 size bulb and it does extend past the end of the lamp, however, it still looks good because the lifx bulb has a cool shape.5Buyer be cautiousThese spot lights are inexpensive, made in China, and you get what you pay for...The light socket is connected to the mains wiring by two wires soldered to terminalson the socket. These wires are not subject to any twisting or tension when thelamp is moved up or down or twisted (that is good). However, in at least one of the lampsI received, one wire was loose and not soldered to the terminal on the socket (so thelamp did not work); the other wire was attached to the terminal but not properly soldered.The loose wire was hazardous and could have easily been touched by a person inserting abulb or the wire could have touched the side of the lamp - metal, and not earthed. Thelack of electrical safety is perhaps more of a reflection of poor electrical safetystandards in the USA rather than the evident low manufacturing quality control. I also note that thelamp, as sold, comes with a cord and switch of stunningly poor quality and design. Interestingly,it seems hard to buy good safe lamp switches (or plugs) for domestic use in the USA (I buy myswitches in Europe).I purchased these lamps to use them as fixed spotlights in a garage. I had thenecessary equipment to fix the problems and have removed the switches. The lamps are, however,sold as being suitable for attachment to a wall (hooked onto a screw) or to sit on aa flat surface. In my opinion they are not fit for purpose - for reasons of electricalsafety. However, they are definitely reasonable value for money as long as you are capableof fixing problems resulting from poor workmanship.3Nice uplight with foot switch Nice uplight with foot switch. Similar to those from other vendors. Standard bulb socket. I don't use the foot switch as I inserted a T-Link Smart LED bulb that is programed for brightness and scheduled on times. My one wish for these style lights (and they all appear similar) is that they had a slightly deeper tube which would hide the bulb itself a little better. Still, a great up light (or otherwise) and highly recommended. 5This Works GREAT! Not much to review here...this little light does everything I wanted it to do. We recently re-modelled our bedroom, and were wanting one of those cool "uplight" effects to wash a corner of the room, and to accentuate the silhouette of some of the decorating accessories. This little light does exactly that. No frills...it's heavy enough to stay put (not a lightweight piece of junk). It does not overheat...the outsides of the canister stay plenty cool to the touch. The pivot joint is nice and tight...it stays where you point it. Love it. Not expensive, and performs exactly as I wanted! I plan on getting a couple more...the effects of uplighting are dramatic and they will quickly change a mundane room into an eye-popping luxurious-appearing space. Try it and see. When you watch home decorating shows on HGTV, pay attention...when the final "reveals" are filmed, the potted plants, accessories, statues, etc...they almost always have these cool uplights behind them. Next I want to experiment with light pastel colored bulbs. And this is the fixture that I'm going to use! 5NIce quality accent/uplightThe actual light is a bit larger than it appears in the photo. It's very bright (takes a standard base bulb, not included), has a wheel-type switch on the cord to turn the fixture on/off, although I am using this as a decorative uplight in a corner, so I am using a timer. It is nice that the power switch is not on the unit, as they can get hot to the touch. The seller shipped very quickly, I am happy with this purchase.5Would have been great if it worked.This was a waste of money. It never worked at all. Tried a known good bulb. I by-passed the switch since they are cheap and frequently fail. There was still no power to the socket. I took it apart and found cold solder joints at the connection. I had hoped I might find an easy fix because I really need this lamp for a special purpose but purchasing a soldering iron and solder would cost far more than this lamp, I wrote it off as a loss.Updated rating: The seller did refund me for the lamp after reading the feedback.3Had one stop working - company provided OUTSTANDING service. 5 Stars.Bought 2 of these. They looked great, while they worked. One stopped working after less than 3 months - waiting to see what the seller does.UPDATE: The one that stopped working was promptly replaced with one that is good to go. While I was disappointed with the one that stopped, the company provided service that makes these a no-brainer.5Great spotlight lamp - but not for hard to reach places because of the cord switch Very cute, works great, timely arrival. Kind of wish there was a different kind of on/off switch though, for better convenience. A swivel knob on the base with a dimmer would be great rather than the current cord switch, which is located about 2 feet from the light itself. I have to do a lot of reaching to get to the switch, as I have the light placed in a corner between a plant stand and my couch (which sits in front of the outlet).Still, despite the slightly inconvenient on/off switch placement, I do not regret this purchase at all.. 5Exactly what I Needed! These accent lights are perfect for what I wanted and needed! I love the step-on control for on-off - it has allowed me to place them in areas where I can just slide my foot between couch and end table and turn them on in the morning and off at bedtime. I used bulbs that would be considered 'grow lights', and I have the two accent lights aimed at different sides of a large ficus that sits in a corner where it doesn't get direct light. Not only do the accent lights make the plant look beautiful, but they give the plant a good dose of light each day. Have had them for several months now, and my plant is doing great in this location. I am very pleased with this product! 5To make matters worse, this is a permanent-style label with non-removable adhesive ... This item was just what I expected from it's description and will work excellently for my purpose.However, a significant issue is that a large 1" x 4" WHITE label is affixed to the exterior of the light! This is very visible, especially on the black finish (but would be an ugly blemish on white or silver, as well).To make matters worse, this is a permanent-style label with non-removable adhesive and a light weight paper stock. It's the kind of inventory control labels which is purposely fabricated to be hard to remove! (An identical label is applied to the individual package.)To remove this label is a time consuming task involving solvents, etc.So what should be an incidental consideration has been turned into a major project by using a permanent label in a prominent location. Either the label should be located somewhere hidden, such as the underside of the base, or a removable product should be used!One star deducted from a five star item due to a careless and avoidable finishing error! 4Might be better in a dark or hidden cornerI thought this would be a neat idea for some modern up lighting in the foyer, but the effect leaves a bit to be desired. It's almost as if you just shone a task lamp straight up from the ground, which doesn't really provide much ambient lighting. I couldn't get the effect I wanted no matter how I directed it - against a wall or otherwise. Might be better in a dark or hidden corner. Awww yeah!!!!5Purchased This For Use With Philips Hue WiFi Bulb, Works Great!I've purchased this item before for standard uplighting with incandescent bulbs, but have since completely replaced almost every bulb in the apartment with Philips Hue. We wanted some uplighting behind some plants sitting on top of a pair of curio cabinets, and this worked perfectly. The bulb sits completely recessed inside, not by much, but enough to prevent any direct glare from the bulb. Reasonably well-made, considering the price. Recommended.5Better than expected!I use these lights for my home theater. I mounted two small shelves and placed one light on each with smart bulbs. I also added two more lights behind my couch. It turned out great and the quality is top-notch. Each light has a small switch about 16 in from the fixture which isn't obvious when you look at them online. I don't use the switch since I'm using smart bulbs. I would definitely recommend them for similar applications.5
