Looks great! 5Better than it looks I bought this to hang a chandelier in our foyer and thought the gauge may not be heavy enough from the online pics but decided to take a chance and was pleasantly surprised. Great chain, looks perfect with our light. 5Heavy duty chain. Not worried about it holding up the light that is approx. 25 lbs. I looked for a while to find a sturdy chain that had the rating and looked stronger than what I found in my local stores. The brushed nickel matched my other fixtures just fine. When trying to open/close a loop with a pliers, I could tell it was strong and I don't have any concerns with it holding up my light. I'd guess it weighs only around 25 lbs. I'd just make sure that you purchase a good quality ceiling cap since that is what attaches to the light fixture in the ceiling. 5Good heavy gauge lighting chain. Good heavy gauge lighting chain. As many posters note, not something that is easily found in local stores. Found lighting kits in everything but brass. 10ft was way more than I needed to hang a chandelier but I will find a use for the rest. The price is about right for the length. Also note that this is a bright polished brass, so if you fixture is more of a golden color you may notice a difference at first. Add gold lamp wire and get off the ladder and all is well. The finish seems durable, even the piece I mangled with channel locks finish looked better than the chain it was replacing. 4Hangs Lights with Nickel Goodness Worked great to hang my light from my vaulted ceiling. I d buy again. 4Perfect for hanging medium to light weight brass chandeliers Effective for hanging medium to light weight brass chandeliers. The front foyer of the new house is 18 feet high. We needed a lot of chain. While this chain can support a heavier chandelier, in my opinion the chain looks too fragile when used with a larger heavier brass fixture. 5Adding chain to new light fixtures I needed more chain for a 17' cathedral ceiling and this did the job for two different light fixtures. One in the foyer and one in the formal dining area. 5
