SAVE YOUR MONEY! I had high hopes for this nightlight. I have a kid who has trouble falling asleep in the dark, and thought this might be a soothing solution. I looked on-line at many options, and thought this would a good choice. Totally wrong! It is not bring, and really very little projection. It seems like a dollar store item or something you would find on clearance at Walmart for a buck. Do not waste your money. Spend a bit more and get something worth paying for that actually works! 1Great Nightlight This is a great nightlight. We use it in the master bathroom, and the changing colors make it interesting, it provides plenty of light to prevent accidents, and the light sensor works well. Our daughter loves it so we'll be ordering another for her. 5Nothing like the northern lights Hugely disappointed in this! It looks nothing like the northern lights. It looks like zigzags and squiggly lines in different colors. I ordered this to make my husband dinner under the northern lights (somewhere he has always wanted to go) I felt like a nerd with how horrible this looked. 1Ooooohhh! Aaahhhhh!! Cute night light! It doesn't move like the real Northern Lights, but it does slowly fade in and out on various colors. Offers a good amount of "night light" but it's not so bright it'd keep you awake. For just under nine bucks, it does a good job and it's kinda cool to look at on the ceiling. Projects up the wall where it's plugged in, too. It has a daytime light sensor so it'll shut off in daytime but my room's dark and the sensor's blocked by another plug, so it's on 24/7. 5Unique Fun and Relaxing I ordered both the Northern Lights and the Space Nebula. I like the Space Nebula a bit better but simply because Northern Lights has more red in in it. Perfect for my bathroom but the other has more blues and greens which I like for other rooms. I liked it so much I ordered 2 more. I was a bit hesitant to order based on some of the not so great reviews but so glad I did. It s a fun light. For $9.50 I wasn t expecting a realistic light show. It s relaxing to watch the colors slowly change on the ceiling as you lay in bed. Not too bright to keep you awake but enough in the bathroom that you don t have to turn on overhead light to use the restroom and wash your hands. I m a Grandmother of 5 so I can say good for all ages! Bah humbug to the negative reviews. It s interesting and entertaining! If you re looking for something authentic you re going to have to have to visit a Planetarium or invest much more money. If you re looking for an unique and fun night light this is perfect. 5Undependable, not as advertised I bought this thinking I'd get the 'northern lights' effect as a background on a wall. I didn't have a plug convenient to where I wanted the light, so I plugged this into an extension cord. The light only worked intermittently, and was very fussy...any movement at all stopped it from working. The sensors also kick the lights on and off whenever they pick up a change in ambient lighting. Not worth the money. Too fussy and not nearly the display pictured. 2GET ONE! I got this for a friend who always wanted to see the Northern Lights. Her husband actually texted to say how much they enjoyed it! VERY interesting colors, great quality, unique. You CANNOT go wrong for this price. I ended up buying one for myself! 5Beautiful, Hard to Find Beautiful light effect, slowly-changing colors and covers an entire ceiling. Not too bright to sleep. Works best if you can plug it in somewhere it won't get blocked by furniture, because obviously that will affect the light that makes it up to the ceiling.The automatic off/on sensor does not work, but I had that experience with another light in this line as well. (I shone a flashlight directly at the sensor and it turned the light off, but curtains open in daylight, or even overhead light on? Nope; nightlight keeps going.) 5Great background/nightlight I enjoy reading my Kindle in bed at night. Wanted some background light, that would not be too bright. This small lamp projects on to the ceiling and walls, giving a bit of light ... without so much that it would keep one awake.Should work well for any kids room, or anyplace else one might want a night light. 5NOT as pictured Does NOT look like Northern Lights or the picture. Looks like a 2yo got hold of some markers. Does not move or even look like it might have any motion to it. I would send it back but it is different and the kids like it - I didn't tell them what it was suppose to look like! 2
